Not possible unless you get a third party launcher like Nova or Apex launcher. Or you root the tablet

Just install a third-party launcher. Those will not only allow you to disable scrolling, but will allow you to delete home screen pages and give you plenty of options that the stock launcher doesn't.
There is a Q&A forum for questions like these. You can use the search bar at the top of the forum to see if someone else has asked your question and find the solution there before you make a post. If you can't find the answer, then go ahead and post a new thread.

Install this app, go to live wallpaper and open the app, hit settings, select the image and boom. Best looking image and auto crops to fit

Not sure if anyone else has figured this out but I have made all my wallpapers scroll on all launchers by installing PICSPEED from the market. Once installed choose any wallpaper from picspeed and it will scroll then go back and select one of the default wallpapers or a photo from your gallery and it too will scroll. Using [ROM]SolarisPrime[3/25/12]

Are you using a custom ROM? If so, that may be the reason why you can scroll now.

Mine didn't scroll on this rom till I did this. They did scroll on the other collective rom but I switched back to this rom.
Can't for the life of me figure out how to get wallpaper to scroll and I scroll home screens...Can anyone shed any light on this?

You have to download another UI, TouchWiz doesn't support it out of box as I know of.

there is already a mod in themes section to enable wallpaper scrolling
check out the 3rd post here
btw you can learn to search, it will make things easier for you
seems like all the launchers and wallpaper mods have a stutter effect to them
i guess this is the best we have right now unless samsung fixes this problem in the next touchwiz update?
Does anyone know of an rooted S2 ROM that is pretty much stock Samsung ICS 4.03 that gives me 5 horizontal icons on home screen and 5 x 5 in the apps drawer.
Alternatively any way to achieve this this with an existing rooted ROM?
Don't want to do it through an alternative launcher as I am happy with TW.

TW wont do that out of the box.
Look into TW 4.5 - not sure if it'll work on ICS, but I used it on GB and it allowed you to change the grid size IIRC.
Oh and it's a launcher thing, not a ROM thing.
Otherwise, find other launcher i guess...
Use apex launcher
On home screen touch the menu key
Go apex settings > home screen settings > portrait grid
Change to 5x5 or whatever u want

Thanks for that I have TW4.5 on my current ROM which is running 4.0.3 and have had on previous ROM's but this is the first time I have seen 5 horizontal icons on the home page, had never seen it as an option either.
I will investigate some more as I don't really want to use another launcher.
It's not even funny to post "Rom Challenge " in android development section.

Its not possible (as I know).
The widget in your screenshot has that capability itself.
Search for minimalistic text on google play
If you're just talking about a simple text widget then, like isaacluz suggested, use Minimalistic Text.
Your other option is to use Lightning Launcher. If you use the free mode layout you can rotate and resize any widget and place it anywhere instead of being confined to the standard grid layout. It takes awhile to learn how to use it but it's well worth the effort.

I have no problem with the home screen wallpaper , but i wishhhhhhh if there's an application do the same but for lock screen wallpaper , i tried the above 3 applications and they only for home screen wallpaper .... does anyone have a solution for the "lock screen wallpaper" ??

I assume you're using a different launcher instead of touchwiz. If you still have touchwiz on there run that instead and use the wallpaper selector from there which allows you to change the locks creen wallpaper.

I use only touchwiz ... i guess you didn't get what i mean, i can set lock screen wallpaper but i can't set it as the whole image !!
