Force app to stay running - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all!
I just downloaded the app SwipePad, which lets you swipe from the edge and have a launchpad with my favorite apps, but i don't like the icon in the notification tray. There is an option to hide the icon, but if i close all apps in the task switcher, SwipePad closes too. Is there an app that let me force android to keep open the app without the notification icon? I have seen multiple apps with root support, that hides the icon, but keeps the app running, but that isn't build into SwipePad.
Thank you in advance

Please
Anyone?

Bump! Sorry...

[Q] Any app to show recently launched programs in the app drawer?

I know I can long-press the home key, but would like basically the same icons in the app drawer too. Is this possible?
I don't know of an app that will do specifically what you want, but you can set a gesture action with Launcher pro to display the recent apps list. It sounds like you want your app drawer filtered to show the most recently used apps at the top.

I don't want it to pop up next to the app picture is irritating...

This will not work on Facebook or Facebook messenger. I ended up having to remove them because no matter the app or phone settings, nothing could remove the badges.
Sent from my LG-H932 using Tapatalk Pro.
I have the same question.... specifically for snapchat.
Use can disable either with app permissions or by installing package disabler for lg. It's $1.99 in the play store but worth it. No root required.

App drawer on Pocophone F1

Can it be disabled?
UPDATE: The app drawer can be disabled. In the Settings app, go to Home Screen, then choose Apps Only Mode. This will disable the app drawer, and all apps will appear on the home screen.
UPDATE 2: The app drawer cannot be disabled. Sorry for the confusion, guys. I must've misremembered...
Yep, that's Interesting to me also.because miui without app drawers way more convenient
You can install the MIUI launcher from Xiaomi and choose as default.
