Just a few things to note before you start
Beautiful ICS is an android 4.2.1(JB) ROM based on .587 for the Xperia Neo V
The ROM is highly customizable is essentially AOKP Running on top of the stable Stock ICS with working features such as Stock Sony Camera and HDMI Working

How to Install:
1. Make a CWM Backup incase anything goes wrong (Optional)
2. Copy Beautiful ICS.zip to SD card of your phone
3. Flash kernel via fastboot by typing: fastboot flash boot boot.img
4. Boot into CWM recovery by pressing the volume down button during boot up when the LED flashes purple
5.Wipe everything ( data, cache + dalvik cache)
6. Go into install zip from SD card and find Beautiful ICS.zip and the Xperia Neo V patch
7. Then flash it, Reboot and Enjoy
FOR LOCKED BL:
BEFORE All those Instructions make sure you are on a SONY ICS ROM/STOCK ICS. Not GB, CM, AOKP OR anything

Finally a stock with ROM Control... after a loong time.. last was from jjdoctor.. ..
ROM has the potential.. but I doubt the fluidity of SONY ICS.. anyway.. from looks its worth giving a try..

Fantastic ROM but only problem faced was 'Server Error' For Play Store. Please quickly fix that! This ROM is what I've always wanted

The most common ‘solution’ I’ve seen is to completely remove your Google account, and re-add it.
hi there awesome work, installation went fine but for some reason screen is upside down :S, i have to disable auto ration in order screen to correct.

I can do that, just give me some days cuz my phone did get softbricked for no reason.

Flashing it now First attempt wasn't successful, I got a bootloop. Hoping it goes well this time.
I've posts some bugs on tracker, i hhope they help in next release. :fingers-crossed:
Before flashing optimax i've flashed 587 stock firmware, then i've flashed sirkay kernel .587c, then go in CWM and do factory reset,full wipe and format system, then i've flashed the rom with customization that i like (GX home, nxt fonts, nxt customization, timescape).
I've restored my app with titanium backup.
I think i've done all good, but i've found the bug that i've list on tracker.
For now i came back to your fantastic jellysandwich 6.2.1

I changed it to any compatible kernel havent provided a link. I already improved compression of the Camera but if a lot people want it I will add it ofc

This is smooth and fast! Just like JJ's Hybrid with ROM Control.
But i noticed a bug, the "Show Battery Percentage on Lockscreen" is not working.
Also the new Ray patch fixed the upside down screen but my device says it's LT18i.

Sorry have to change Build. prop ill attatch a new one with Ray. just wanted to see if it worked
Yeah, also weather and calender in Lockscreen won't work as the lockscreen is a modified Stock lockscreen as it impossible to Port AOSP lockscreen to stock ROM and therefore im finiding it impossible to implement AOSP elements into the Stock lockscreen. Still ill continue debugging

Just a few things to note before you start
Beautiful ICS is an android 4.2.1(JB) ROM based on .587 for the Xperia Neo.
The ROM is highly customizable is essentially AOKP Running on top of the stable Stock ICS with working features such as Stock Sony Camera and HDMI Working

How to Install:
1. Make a CWM Backup incase anything goes wrong (Optional)
2. Copy Beautiful ICS.zip to SD card of your phone
3. Flash kernel via fastboot by typing: fastboot flash boot boot.img
4. Boot into CWM recovery by pressing the volume down button during boot up when the LED flashes purple
5.Wipe everything ( data, cache + dalvik cache)
6. Go into install zip from SD card and find Beautiful ICS.zip and the Xperia Neo patch
7. Then flash it, Reboot and Enjoy
FOR LOCKED BL:
BEFORE All those Instructions make sure you are on a SONY ICS ROM/STOCK ICS. Not GB, CM, AOKP OR anything

Guys, I spend a lot of time working on this ROM making everything work and need to buy a new computor because my computor I use is very very old and it always reboots so I can't evem upload files let alone debug files. in order to speed up compiling and debugging my ROM/kernel and I am not demanding donations but if you appreciate my work and want to speed up how fast I make innovative updates then a donation will make a big difference.

rom is fast and stable and good battery life after several hours of heavy use.
the only problem I have is the auto rotate is inverse in xperia neo. I changed kernel but it's still a problem. I've turned it off for now and it's not a problem but I believe it needs to be fixed.

the first time i flashed it on my NeoV , i had the problem too. Although i forgot to flash neo v's patch, after i flashed it, the problem was fixed. Until the dev provides a fix, If autorotation is a hastle for you, id suggest you to flash the fix, but you WILL lose your camera.

Will be fixed for next release.
Btw guys, I recommend replacing Apex launcher with ADW which is a lot smoother and less choppy. If you do that you can really feel the project butter In launcher + general UI and multitasking
So what are the differences between this and jj's hybrid? I'm on it now and would like to switch to something more stable but don't know if this would be it

I think you should read through my Xperia Arc thread, that has been running since v1 and everyone there loves it. Just use the search button on the thread and you will find awnser to your questions. Look through changelog also

Lockscreen problem?
FINALLY got it downloaded i guess somethings wrong with the internet at home =D. At any rate, nice rom thus far i too experienced the orientation problem, but also any changes made in the Rom Control/Lockscreen do not reflect? Anyone else having this problem?

Guys...I have found the solution for play store server error.
The problem is in the patch...get neo v/neo patch from pureness thread and replace build.prop of pureness with beautiful ICS.
Done...wait for sometime and you will get updates available notification.

OK..now these are the steps to get playstore working.
1.remove vending.apk from ROM zip in winrar.
2.get the neo/V patch from ThilinaC's pureness thread and replace the build.prop in it with beautiful ICS build.prop...also in winrar.
3.Flash as usual...create account and then run playstore.
4.If showing server error then clear data and force stop playstore.
This will solve the error.

How to Install:

There's no theme chooser in this rom,so you willn't be able to apply any theme.

While you will be flashing the patch,recovery will say installing xperia ray patch,but don't worry,I will edit it.

When flashing completes, Reboot Phone into System
~Important Instruction: In first boot you will find out "Unfortunately systemUI has stopped", don't panic,just finish the setup wizard then go to settings>Date & Time & use 24hr format. After couple of seconds all will be fine. Also, 2G & torch toggle doesn't work. It has a modded framework thus made this beautiful.Thanks to jobayer for his help. Should work with any ICS kernel.

Navigation key is not included in this version. But will enable it in the coming release
the transparent dialer is a lil annoying while searching, maybe you could look into that..
stock theme.. brushed metal look feels good..
i feel there is some occasional miss in touch input on screen.. especially in launcher maybe.. or maybe the ROM itself takes a tinyyy lil lag before acting on touch input on such occasions

sorry it was my internet problem, now that i am using a Proxy and , here there are.

Your rom is very smooth and very nice but .....
1. need reboot togle
2. cant import contacts from sd card (he says that are imported but there are no contacts)
3.I had few random restarts with 3 apps
I have neo V with suave

Initial Impressions
Just installed it to spruce up an old Neo V I had lying around while I wait for my Nexus 5 to arrive. I must say, it's a lot cooler than the stock ROM. I love it!! Runs very well. Will update as I use more if there are any problems.

Ah well. It's still a pretty nice ROM. And this is only very temporary anyway.
