[Q] Color adjustment without an app or process running?? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I have had my Atrix 2 for nearly a week now, and I am getting used to the Yellow tinted screen, but today I tried an app called "Screen Adjuster" which allows you to adjust the brightness/contrast and RGB values. I adjusted blue to about 10+ and couldn't help but notice how good and even colors look! The white actually looks white. I would love to keep the colors that way permanently.
So the question is, Is is possible to alter some file in Root or do some file replacement and smack that yellow out and off the screen? :fingers-crossed:

[Q] Any development for a color temp?

Just curious if anyone was working on a screen filter or a color temp app for the display.
I use screen filter, but notice the Vibrant has a bluish tint to it, that is a lot easier on the eyes.

How to change color temp

Hi, yesterday I bought a S2. It's all ok but the screen... The white color, if I watch directly, seems a bit yellow (entire), on the S1 it's white! If I tilt up or down it finally shows white. I think the cause is the color temperature, on S2 it's warmer and on S1 it's colder. Is there a kernel or rom that can give you the possibility to change temp settings? I've tried to set brightness and background effect, it's still yellow.
Use Chainfire3D (root)

[Request] Change Defy's display colour temperature.

Hey I noticed a few weeks ago, and I'm still noticing that the Defy's screen has a reddish tint instead of a white/blue one.
So apart from Cyanogen settings to change renderFX, is there a way to change the Defy's display temperature colour to like a bit more blue?? Because the red tint make the Defy look cheap lol...
Is there any app possible to achieve this??
Try with RenderFX Widget. You can change its tint. Just change in one tint and then disable it...it should be normal.

Blue light Filter problem with apps on playstore

Hi ,
I have noticed a problem in blue light filter in apps available in market.
They ask for permission for drawing over apps. And the effect they produce is not similar to reducing blue color but putting a yellow/brownish layer, which makes black look brownish. When compared to the bluelight filter option given in the ROM itself , there is noticeable difference. The color doesnot look washed out. Black is still black. And the sharpness is maintained. Only thing is it lowers blue light emission from screen.
I have Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with Marshmallow and it doesnot have inbuilt bluelight filter. I want to stay with same ROM but am ready to root device if some application can actually modify contrast. I have heard that screen resolution can be modified with adb so i am ready to experiment color correction through that as well.
Hoping for a early reply,
Thanks

Samsung s9+ Pinkish screen

Hi
Does anyone have the same issue as my s9+? Is it an Amoled burn?
A light pinkish on the screen, from the bottom up to the level before status bar, gets a little pink-ier above middle part up to the status bar. Especially when your in a white background.
I already tried playing with the color settings, also the blue light filter, the display test in the service test mode. It seems like it is really there in the LCD. Tried to screenshot, the result is perfectly fine.
I hope there's someone that can help me. Thanks in advance
P.S Status bar part is ok, thats make it weird.
