Plz don't try any method to unlock ! OK ? or you will have ur device hard brick and will not be recovered by any method ! Plz don't try

Well, even though my 'allowed: no' I know that I can unlock it by Wotan/Omnius. So there's some method, hehe.

Yes, i´ve been reading in that thread that many used 0% fix and unlocked their cellphones.
What i have not mentioned before is that my phone is "Bootloader Allowed: NO", so it might not work, or it can be risky...to solve that i need to "unbrand" my phone first, right? If so, any advices or recomendations??
Thanks again for replying!:good:

I think you can't unlock if its SIM locked!
Then,I guess s2 tool or wotan client is the only way to unlock which is paid!

i couldnt unlock my phone via s1tool cuz not recognized certificate... but i didnt want to do with this 'tool'. so i payed for wotan

There is some website I had found when I was googling about bootloader when it was locked. U can google it. There is a website for it. U just hav to write ur imei number, android version nd ur phone model name nd ur email adress. It will email u how to simunlock ur phone nd that is pretty easy. Just search google. I ll link u website if I hav some free time.

And what method you used to unlock bootloader after that?

The website I had found was only for sim unlock not bootloader unlock. Nd I had bootloader unlock allowed ; yes so I used the method posted here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2070325.

0% fix deletes DRM, like the official Sony Method, so isn't a good solution. Especially if you use Track ID.

Bt after losing drm u can download playstore version of trackid nd use it. Only inbuilt trackid and music unlimited provided by sony wont work.

As for DRM, You will loose it as this method is based on Sony's official method. But guys, be honest...Track ID is really so neccessary?

Just follow the steps and flash GB firmware before if You're on ICS or unlock bootlader on ICS and right after, before turning the phone on, flash ICS kernel, and only then boot

We'll there your problem. (in case you don't know) Custom ROMS + locked bootloader doens't go well.
i thought the bootloader was only to install CWM?
and since i have installed CWM without bootloader being unlocked, i thought i was good to go.
alright will try out SEUS.
BTW which version of flash tool, and which firmware should i be loading for the neo v?
oh anyway SEUS managed to salvage my phone!
thanks for the link!
BTW i got an off-thread question to ask, what is the differnece between rooting and unlock bootloader?
which one actually voids warranty?

Unlocking voids warranty.
But difference between rooting and unlocking: with rooted phone you had superuser right in your phone, BUT you can't flash different roms and kernel, because for that you need access to bootloader.
Unlocking bootloader giving you FULL access your phone. And this access is so great, if you don't know what you are doing, you gonna brick your phone very easy.
Also bootloader unlocking process is giving you root permissions.

How much? just a wipe data and reinstall a new ROM? And in what situations I can/I must/I shouldn't use SEUS? On my old samsung spica there was a kernel version that if I use ODIN with it the phone get hard bricked and unable to fix it... Some people had to send it to repair.
On my neo I have .42 completely stock for now... After unlock bootloader is it possible to get warranty back again?
By the way, thanks

Simple. Don't brick your phone. Before you do something..read forum, ask, analyse and then do it.
If you already unlock BL...then you can't use officials SE update tools.
But there is many other tools what working with ANY conditions BL.

It still amazes me why people do this. Se-tweak for unlocked bootloader well glad your fixed now
Sent from my MT15i using xda premium
People do this because is a rom compatible with stock kernel and WORKS PERFECT with CWM and bl locked, tested by me and a lot of this "stubborn" people who don't want, or can't, unlock their bootloader. Solution is very simple, tweak a little your update-script and make life easy to all these people who want install your rom and enjoy your work.
Is for unlocked boot loader. Not locked to be honest it's not worth it
Still incorrect as stock is crap and no point if you use stock no tweaks no point in se tweaked

Locked Bootloader Unlocked

So we have achived root on our sxs.....
We have achived CWM on our sxs.....
When oh when will we get to unlock our bootloaders???
Hopefully this will be a thread where we all can discuss what we have tried on our phones...and didnt work...ideas....links to other sites...anything you can think of to make us get closer to unlock!!
Maybe some Devs can give us an idea if they are getting closer to this (thanks for their work btw)
Also is there any tweaked custom roms with sxs stock kernal?
S1 server was on for a short time for opening the simlock thing.
then it was on for even a shorter time for opening the simlock+ enabling fastboot(and then opening the bootloader via the official Sony site)
then.. S1 server went down, for a very long time apparently.
and now we wait, again.

I'm in the same boat. Tried using unlock. se website's software and using the s1 signature but only did a network unlock.
EzSemc is the tool needed to do a full csca certificate unlock which 'should' allow unlocking of the bootloader. Google it for info. The server this tool uses is offline though.
The info is in the trim area (TA) part of the phone. This may be possible to edit but comparisons need to be done with someone who's phone has the permission allowed but not yet unlocked and someone's phone who hasn't got the permission allowed.
Flashtool can be used to read/write TA part of the phone in advanced mode.
This is all the info i know about.
Cheers,
Lunar.

dunno about liquid. according to forums its the oil from device. doesnt matters like my friend got that cleared from service centre.
and I know that all ics are same but somewhere I noticed that service mens can know about the different software installed through build.prop and hence my warranty voids.
what happens if I vl relock my bootloader and upgrade through PCC? will my build.prop besame as my neighbourhood peoples. ??
Not all ICS builds are the same, the French one is full of crappy French Apps.

Yup
By rooting you are not loosing warranty.Any modification done to operating system doesn't cover your phone warranty. If your phone breaks because of modification in system then your warranty will not cover that, but if it just breaks from just sitting on your table your warranty will cover that even if you are rooted or have done any software modifications.
yeah..so if i fail installing new rom...warranty bye bye..it's kinda..frustrating

Sony themselves told me that unlocking the bootloader on it's own doesn't void the warranty and neither does flashing roms necessarily. However if you brick the device etc whilst doing it then it would.
