[App] Winulator - Nexus 10 Themes and Apps

An emulator to play older windows games. There aren't many details about the app except that it can play older direct x games, which is a bit vague.
Check it out
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.postram.winulator
EDIT: I emailed the dev and the email got kicked back from the mail server. I'm not sure if this app is legit or not.

It is genuine and an awesome project. Based on wine. He will be releasing a Starcraft port soon. Hope it keeps coming with more games.

Anyone tried "you wave" android pc emulator??

Hey,
Just wondering if anyone else has tried it? I downloaded installed it today & it looks really impressive with lots of future potential it lets you load & run apk files and simulates the android UI on your desktop! It compared itself to the developers SDK tool but faster and user friendly. I can't post links but I'd be thankful if anyone else that finds it interesting to post a link
I can't see it mentioned in any threads yet? If this is the wrong place to post... please feel free to move it

I saw a blog on a German site mentioning this emulator. Below is the text translated using Google Translate.
Android Apps emulator for the PC (without SDK)

Meanwhile, there are a lot of apps for mobile devices, whether for iPhone or Android. In the case of Android devices and apps, there is the lovely advantage of it as apk simply sent anywhere, can be loaded and saved - and everyone could then install on their device.
But what if you have no products. These types, but would like to demonstrate Apps on a machine, and without the SDK? introduces you, you have built a cool app want to show that, but your Android can not connect to the projector, or you send out sales people who want to show the app, but no SDK on your machine?
Well, there is a great tool called YouWave. Easy to install on their computers and go apk Embed
It does come accross quite intriguingly... It would be interesting to know if anyone has tried it properly and what they make of it, I'm more interested in mods to my phone so development tools don't spark much excitement for me.... the potential here looks inspiring though
Thanks tina333 for your interest in YouWave. We are a startup, with a mission to serve Android community. In addition to what you have described, our latest software release supports state saving, wirelessly installing applications to rooted phone, etc. Many users, including app users, gamers and developers, are already using our product daily. Hopefully you have tried these features.
We are located in Silicon Valley, California. If you have other questions, drop us a line or post questions here or on our forum. We would be glad to answer them.

Is it possible to load our data files from our phone to continue with saved progress in games, etc.?
Currently, it is not possible to sync data file from your phone to the apps running on YouWave. Such features are definitely under our consideration.
BTW, AndroidCentral today runs an article about us.

Teamspeak 3 beta released to android market

Finally! This is way more useful then my dam phone it self!
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.teamspeak.ts&feature=search_result
If anyone wants a server to test it on:
IP:ts3.phicraft.com
port:9989
The server is mainly focused on gaming, but general chat is usually what goes on anywhoo.
wait, im confuse.
:l
is this to use for while gaming?
like during COD or Halo?
I guess you could, but I mainly use this while I am out and wanna talk to my group of friends.
It does run in the background and have voice detection so it could actually be used hands free. With that, if you play one of the mmos for android or something, this could be useful.
if you are like many other gamers that use ventrilo for your communication means, there is that also for android.

Of course you cannot compare Ubuntu with Android
Ubuntu is on early stage of development
and also Google Play Service is Only for Android Devices (However some android not supprt it like Amazon Phones)
If you want Stable Apps for your Ubuntu phone search and look for Developer name that include canonical or Ubuntu Core App
There is Calendar App By Ubuntu Core App Developers
:good:
yeah i fully understand that no prob but i ve seen image of ubuntu touch goin on for long time now, i thought these basics were more achieved.
no prob, i am patient, i am more interested in the terminal function anyway, i d like to get native classic linux app like nmap and other working
There is actually a Google calendar sync.

Quick tip. Open browser site like a windowed app

With all the talk of Android Apps coming to Chrome OS this fall it is easy to forget that Chrome OS, as it stands right now, is a very capable and reliable OS.
While we here at Chrome Unboxed have been eager to share and talk about all the advantages this change will bring, I feel it is necessary to also keep everyone aware that both Gabriel and I work completely from Chrome OS on a daily basis. As excited as I am about the Play Store coming to Chrome OS, I love Chrome OS just as it is, too.
The truth is, I’ll likely keep using my Chromebooks and Chromeboxes as I always have during work hours once these apps come around. Sure, I’ll begin adopting certain apps for work (and playing games like crazy after work, along with other entertainment fun that Android brings), but I know there are many services I’ll keep on using the web versions for.
And that’s why knowing how to make an app or webpage launch in a window is important. For some reason, things like Google Play Music or Spotify feel strange with the Omnibar and tabs up top. They feel much more native if all that is removed.
And you can do this for most websites and apps. Here’s how.

Unnoficial/Modded app crash on Cat S61 (Android 8.1.0)

Hello,
I have two phones , one Cat S60 and today, reciewed my new Cat S61.
I have installed same apps that i have on my S60, but, the problem is, many modded app or other unnoficial app have problems with the new android system. On my S60, it working very well.
For exemple, i have and old version of Pocket Informant (i supposed is a "cracked" version but not sure) and a Modded version of Hogwarts Mystery. Both crash instantly when louching the app. Have black screen for few seconds and return to android desktop and have a texte say the app have crashed. If retry, same crash and android said (in french: "Harry Potter s'arrête systémathiquement") i think trad is "Always Crashing". I have no problems on the S60 is running on Android Mashmallow (if i'm correct). Other user have similar problems with custom app like me on his Android Oreo 8.1 or it's specific to the News Cat S61 and will be resolved by future update?
Thanks in advance for your answer and sorry for my bad spelling ^^'
Sounds like the applications are incompatible with the new android. Keep sending the reports to the developers and hopefully some day they release new versions for new Android. If you are rocking some "cracked" soft, then it might just be an old- non-updated version of the app. Search for these apps on google play and purchase them, if you enjoy them. That gives the developers some well deserved money and motivation to fix the issues.

That i have maked for Pocket Informant. The reason i have a cracked version is i dont like the new interface of the calendar (and as need to pay for have all function, for gaving an old version of the app, needed to be a "cracked" because if isnt, even if you have paid the new version, the old (uncrackef) stay limited function. For harry potter (hogwards mystery) it just i whont paid anything ingame for advance in game or other. If the dev put this game on store and need to paid for have it and play "unlimited, i will pay for it, but... If you read how the game is working, it's just a scam for get maximum monney of people X). The mod make just infinite energy ingame and dont need to paid for advance in the game ^^.
So, it's not a Android "limitation" to make unable to have non official or modded apk . I will wait that get new version of my apps and see what happens.
