Im using sk17i, rooted, unlocked bootloader!
Today i installed wrong rom cook: HD ultimate 2.0.3 at here. When install it, i choose Xperia Pro :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
And my touch phone isnt work anymore!
I try few way find from our forum (ex: flash few different rom and kernel,... ) but cant fix it!

Use Sony Xperia SEUS tout reset your phone to stock rom then flash again.

Sorry, i dont want that. I want flash Ultimate HD 2.0.2 but i see 2.0.3 and i throught its an update version.
So i download and dont read anything :crying::crying::crying::crying:
I try follow that topic but it isnt work with me, only work with ST15.

i tried but it didnt work, my friend!
you can factory reset and boot into recovery and reflash Ultimate rom
ps. I use ultimate rom too

ei! We're exactly in the same situation and I am yet to find the solution to our problem. I have tried so many suggested fix in this forum (mostly for xperia mini) but nothing works, Maybe because they are not exactly in the same situation as us.
Hope some hardcore dev help us.. hehe:silly:
Have you tried flashing stock active rom, boot that and flash the rom for your device again? There was a guy who reported this would work

Friends, I am having trouble with my xperia.. Before upgrading to 2.3 it was working fin there was no problem.. but when i upgarded to 2.3 it is restarting on a little heavy apps.. On HD video recording or while playing angrybirds... and some times while listening music it got hanged for 2, 3 seconds and then crashes... I downgraded to 2.1 and again it is working fine.. But i like 2.3.. Plz give me some solution... Plz.. I am waiting...

Hi, stock 2.3 is taking very much RAM and is very laggy. I would suggest You to install custom 2.3 ROM. I'm currently using this ROM for over 1 month and works great. HD video recording, games etc.
Wil you plz explain a little.. I dont know much.. I am new in android... what is this custom rom? is it a firmware? from where i can get it.. ?

Custom ROM is operating system for the phone. Custom ROM's mostly have more features and are faster. You have propably noticed that stock (original) 2.3 is very laggy. But to install other ROM You will have to first root Your X10, install xRecovery (or CWM) and exceptionally unlock bootloader (now most of the ROM's require this). You can read about those things in X10 android developement section. After You've done that things You are able to install new ROM's. If You would like to root and etc. and You would have any problems post me and I will help You
P.S. You can get ROM for example from here or if You don't like it search for other one

if you have still garanty on it ill say that varanty will be lost when rooted.
But you can unroot it

I suggest a Custom rom based on se 2.3.3 Gignerbread
I Use Wolfbreak xperia it has all you know now but it runs amazingly smooth top for gaming i Played the new dead space for android on it runs very smooth.

Search for root checker on market that will tell u if u rooted (sounds like u are though) now just use flashtool to install xrec in one press.

Instructions..!! To fix ..!!
Download THIS firmware..!! (It is modified Active firmware .42 GB)
Flash it using "flashtool"
boot u r device (first boot can take 10 mins)
and u will see u r touch screen working know..!!..!!
After that install Your device FTF ..
Working on all devices ..!!

1:flash your device gb .62 firmware
2:flash rage kernel
3:flash that wrong rom again
4:if wrong rom was ics,rom will not boot then remove the battery to turn phone off then flash .62 firmware again if it was gb,do the same work
5:wait until stock rom boots the touch will be fixed

You can't change files in ftf, because ftf is sony signed so this is impossible! So I think you took it from the post I mentioned before!

officiallysonyrebel as stated this has been shared previously however not in it's own thread so in the spirit of sharing it's fine to post it up however you must give credits to where you found it. It also seems that your guide is not complete as you can't stop at just flashing the active FTF which is a stock Sony file not modified so please don't tell people it is. For it to fully work you need to then flash the stock firmware for the device over the top as per xshanep19's instructions.

Btw I don't think that the phone will boot up completely with the active ftf. I think you have to flash the ftf for your device first, before you will get it booting, or am I wrong?

nope i think as from one person .. used this and he said that phone is booting and touch screen is working .. but not correctly u just have to flash Your specific device FTF ..!! and touch screen working after that..!!

I followed the steps as mentioned by you and while flashing you given rom i get this error....

Have you tried flashing the stock firmware for the xperia active (st17) and booting it up? After that flashing the stock firmware for your phone? Some users reported this works. Here's the guy who used this method
By the way what is your native language? Maybe you could write a private message to somebody who speaks your language :good:

Ok, try this way too maybe can fix it ..... I fixed 5 phone with this way
1.Go search and download 4.0.2.A.0.42_CE ( its xperia active stock rom st17i)
2. Flash it on ur device
3.boot it u have touch but not correctly
4.Download ur 4.0.2.A.0.62 stock rom and flash it back
It may fix ur touch

this method did not work .
same prob. and until now my xperia mini st15i is unusable ... imiss my phone huhu i miss playing temple run.. dead trigger huhuhuhuhu and i follow the method above and its not worked to my xperia mini huhuhu im afraid to go in SC and i think it will be so expensive huhu
Hey guys, i wanted to try out the sony jb port rom from here .. sadly i missed out that the backup was for different device.. That bricked my touchscreen. I tried out all possible ways on xda.. Tried flashing all the stock fts of each version. Tried out all the 9 ways given in general section to fix.. None of them seem to work :crying: If possible can someone do a backup of a stock ics based rom in CWM and upload the backup.. so that it may fix the touch screen.. Till then im trying out everything left.. please help me guys

Dont take me wrong, but if you flashed the stock .ftf it should work , if not i dont think the backup of the stock will work either...
