hello guys
I've already searched and looked into every thread asking a Cyanogenmod version compatible with GT-S5830i/I/C, but none of them have an "official" answer
Also, there is some people trying to build a mod for that device, but things look to be very slooowwwww and what we need is a CM version!
As we already have a CM7 version for S5830 (aka cooper), is it too much to ask for a port to S5830i/I/C (aka cooperve)??.
ace-i got a special GPU (video core -4),which is a better GPU than ace's GPU (ADRENO 200).
C'mon guys, it's a new version of the old Ace but it has public enough (and it's still selling...) to deserve a Cyanogenmod version.
please devs,this is a small request from all the ace -i users.:thumbup:

It's not possible to port from s5830 easily. The way cyano devs do is the same our two devs are doing, be patient guy and if you want it faster why don't you help our devs for testing?

You said it like it sound sooo simple. If you feel it sooo slooow, WHY DONT YOU PORT IT YOURSELF? See if you succeed.
DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT S5830 IS DIFFERENT THAN S5830i !!!
AND DONT PUSH THE DEVELOPERS BECAUSE THEY DO IT FOR FREE. If you wanna help donate bieltv3 s5830i phone. It may help him speed up the development of CM version for our phone.

Yes actually it is coming, the time depend of how help receive the devs, they need help for logcats to know what goes wrong...

Something I didn't mention is that it was for the ZTE Blade and are still developing a custom rom, As The latest Swedish Spring RLS5 development has stopped, But I will be releasing a ROM for ZTE Blade shortly.

Hey guys, my O1 will be sold tomorrow, and i will buy a galaxy gio.
I found theres a unofficial gingerbread rom for ace and gio at the samfirmware.com if im not mistaken.
Do you recommend flashing the gingerbread rom from samfirmware or just use the custom roms available for ace?
Ive read that the gb rom from samfirmware for ace/gio, battery life is improved and more user ram available.

Ace and Gio may share the same processors but that doesn't mean they can share the same ROM.

Well, I would if I own one.
Why don't you try to gather peoples who owns Gio? Instead of asking one who doesn't actually have anything to do with that phone.
One more thing; next time you'll post any of your "Gio" stuff, make it on the main Android general forum, you'll get more chance of getting noticed by fellow Gio users.

Hey ACE-users,
Some of you contacted me and requested if i would like to develope for the Galaxy ACE and help you to solve some problems. Because of this and because of the fact that a friend of someone out of our Team bought one I started developing.
Problem is that we have not really a device we can use for developeing (we can´t use our friends every time ^^) and especially things like ICS Porting or Kernel developing needs one (we must test the files for working first).
So now BlockBuster Team would like to know if the user community here is interested in donating a device to us for development.
I mostly developed for the Galaxy S before, but also for Galaxy SLC (http://www.xda-developers.com/android/ics-ported-to-galaxy-s-i9003/) Galaxy 3... Mostly I´m developing by myself (kernel, scripts, tweaks, custom roms) but I teach other people who want to learn developing, too (like 5pace) . Check out my Threads, my Tutorials and our Homepage. I´m currently waiting for Galaxy S 3 release, so i´ve now the time for your device.
So what do the users of this community think? Let us know your opinion in this thread. If you want we can create a Paypal account and you can start to donate.
Maybe there´s someone here who doesn´t need his Galaxy ACE any longer - if it´s working it would be the easiest way for us to become one if you send it to us.

Ok cool bro, np.
Currently there are NO official CM ROMs for our Galaxy ACE. Anyways there are a couple unofficial that you can give a try Here and Here... One of them is not being supported anymore since its creator sold his phone.
Good luck bro... and NO ACE is not the codename for our phone in cyanogenmod.com ... It is COOPER
