Hi.. How come that Google Now only talks back if system langauge is set to English and not Danish ? When danish it still shows the answers to my questions.. But no talking!
Any news on when Danish is ready for Google Now ?

Same here in Sweden.
I only get text answers when system language is set to swedish.
With English I get talk and those cards on certain questions.
Judging by how long it took for us to get Turn by turn speech while navigating I reckon it will take at least one year this we'll get this in our native language.

I bought in Poland Star Trek (In Poland we have no service this smartphones)
It was working fine 3 months.
Yesterday i do Hard Reset after instaling bad aplication.
After hard Reset Phone restarted In Russian language
I go inside menu i changed into Polish language and Polish regional settings
After it all communications and Icons was in Polish language.
and all was ok .................... without when i want put new name or put new sms my keybord working with only Russian letters
I try next Hard Reset and after it put English language and English regional settings it was the same
Please Help in Poland nobody help me with these problem
I cannot write sms and other information in Polish language

Anyway, you can install european rom, may be it have polish language...

My phone, which I bought in Czech (no black or grey sell) has also Russian by default. Which pretty sucks. I installed the EU version, but it keeps changing after the hard reset. The first time I did hard reset, I though I'll send the phone to service, as I couldn't get to the menu LOL It just makes me wonder, why even phones from expansys have such "problem"...

Wonder if any experts here can help me. I have just received a new HTC Hero (T Mobile UK G2 Touch). Unfortunately it appears to be running a somewhat crippled version of the languages. My wife is Italian and frequently texts in Italian but unfortunately there is no Italian language support, only English, Dutch and Czech which seems strange.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to download or unlock Italian without rooting the phone? Would predictive text work and would I only be able to change the text language and not the whole phone language?

Thank you for taking the time to read my thread, and sorry in advance for writing so much. Now I have searched EVERYWHERE, for about 3-4 hours now, with about 200 tabs, and still have found nothing. What I really want is to be able to ADD (sorry about capitalization, just everywhere I look it's always is change, not add) UI language (like the ones in Settings>Language & keyboard>Select language), not adding a keyboard as I already have done that, but a language itself, like Spain Spanish. I have a HTC EVO 3D running Android 2.3.4, now this phone originated in China, so when I do go to the settings and check the languages, there are two languages in Chinese characters, and one in English (Hong Kong SAR China), so a total of three, now when I look at people who bought their phones from other places have so many languages like English, German, Italian and French, but I only have two, I tried using MoreLocale 2, but all it does it replace not add, and when I change the language it returns to default (so I changed the Hong Kong English to NZ English via morelocale, as I am in NZ, and it did change it, but when I changed the language from NZ English to one of the Chinese ones, and then back to English, via the settings menu, it returned to Hong Kong English), I am not too worried about that problem, but all I want to do is add UI languages, would prefer without rooting, but if I MUST, then I am up for it. So is there a way of doing so, if there is, could you PLEASE tell me, I would SOOOO GRATEFUL.

Running android on my HTCHD2 (does the exact firmware matter?)
and I would like very much so to alter the UI language to Thai.
I realize Thai is not a very common language but my family there just can't read english, especially the kids. I tried some locale changers like Morelocale 2 and it helps make alot of things into Thai, but not the most important thing I need, the UI such as settings and menus. All of that is still in english.
I tried to see if i can download some sort of patch or rom but come up with nothing. So now I'm just gonna bite the bullet and would like to do it myself. Is there a way to just add in or perhaps alter one of the other languages(i'm not gonna use Korean for example) so I can actually make it all into Thai myself?
Can anyone explain how i can get google now to speak back to me using Norwegian language. I just get text results when i speak to google search.

Unfortunately google now is only available in English (US) only. Change your phone language and try it will work
I am Norwegian too, and it sucks balls, but for now I can live without google now talking back to me Hope google will resolve this "issue" soon

Doesent talk or show cards with english US either... Hope google enables it for us soon...

click on menu (left button) and go to Settings -> Google Voice. You need to change the language there too in order to have it speaking to you
