Welcome to PureSlim for X10 Mini Pro
Feel the performance and speed!
The PureSlim for X10 Mini Pro was inspired by tchaari and A_U, pongnamu made it for X10 Mini and I simply port to X10 Mini Pro, too.
For more details you can check X10 Mini thread...
TO BE SURE, I simply removed useless apps, fonts, ringtones that bloat our device. Anyway you can simply download their duplicates from Play Store.
This will save a lot of space in the system, ultimately improving the performance upto some extent.
Try it and you will see
Keep up the latest news and information of pongnamu ROMs in his site

What makes PureSlim good? Let's find it out!
Features
1. Our phone has very less RAM to run ICS or JB in fully optimised manner. So these ROM's slightly fulfil that requirement. As the apps in these ROM's occupy very less RAM of around, 20 to 30 MB only !
2. Due to less RAM consumption, phone tends to be more responsive, smooth and faster !
3. Overall performance increases roughly around, 5 times !
4. If you are a benchmark believer, then AnTuTu scores were also slightly higher compared to the original ROM's
5. These lite ROM's along with any script like Adrenaline Engine, can boost your performance slightly higher.
6. These ROM's can be used as a daily driver, thanks to nAa and all of his team members!!
7. Slim ROM's have slightly higher battery backup compared to the original ROM's. For me atleast, i.e; with minimal usage the phone lasts around =TESTING
8. So use these ROM's and decide what is best for you.
9. There's nothing great about these ROM's. BUT, their SIZE speaks for them !
OLD VALUE FOR CM10: 128MB
NOW IT IS: 90,77MB for v.4b
10. Going into details, I simply removed useless apps, fonts, ringtones that bloat our device. Anyway you can simply download their duplicates from Play Store. This will save a lot of space in the system, ultimately improving the performance upto some extent
11. All the rightful credits are in the second page.
12. All the downloads and download instructions are in the bottom.
13. I have removed bloatware in to the maximum extent possible, but still if you feel there exists such an app which is useless, inform me, I will remove it
14. Finally, I ensure there was no warez used to create these ROM's
15. On a side note I removed all the boot-animations to conserve space. ICS & JB have their own in-built boot-splash. While in CM7 there is no such facility, the screen will be blank, so don't worry you did not brick your phone
16. I AM OPEN FOR YOUR SUGGESTIONS!

Notes:
Since v4b, Original SEMC Keyboard is used only for both on screen and external input (Suquashi)!
To update External Keyboard Layout, go to Settings / Advanced / Keyboard Settings menu, first choose your keyprint and allow SU permissions, then choose your layout and allow again SU permissions and it will REBOOT automaticlly to apply new layout!
If you want to use another keyboard like wp7Keyboard on screen and keep suquashi only for external input, download Keyboard Manager from Playstore and use next configuration:
- Open Keyboard Manager and allow SU permissions.
- Choose your new keyboard for Portrait and Landscape Keyboard, keep Default input for External Keyboard, and keep Start on boot enabled.
Since v4b, Stock SMS has been removed and replaced by 8SMS! You need to check in 8SMS setting 'Stand alone' option

I have just installed this ROM it seems everything run smoothly, thanks to DanielFran, but one problem is on the HW keyboard, as I am not able to type numbers. Last time when I used another CM10, I could set it from "advanced menu", but in this ROM there is no advanced menu, to set keyboard layout, light etc. Please do the correction, thanks!:silly:

All you have to do is go to settings>advanced>Keyboard Layout then look for Qwerty-en, just allow the permission and wait till it reboots

Try change keyprint (accept SU perm 1x) and after keylayout (accept SU perm 2x).
Then it reboots automaticly, this is normal!
After reboot you should be using new layout.

Rom By MIGUEL ANGEL SANCHEZ BRAVO from Mexico.
anyone can compared it with gingercruzt? since both use almost the same interface
is it gingercruzt??
I don't know your ROM is base on your own work or the others, but I hope you can give us more info. Not just base on what, about its features, etc.
I tested this one... here is my impressions...
Fist all... it's fast... and yes, more faster than GingerDX.
Run all 3d hd games smooth ( Galaxy on fire 2, Dead Space, etc)
But i have some problems with force closes ( Titam backup and market for example)
I 'll try install again but in this time i'll delete some apk from system/app... and use the old market... Maybe this rom is a little bloated of useless apps...
For now i use this rom for some days... but if FC continues i'll be forced to retun to DX.
Resume: Seems to be a great work!! Worth try this one!!!
ps: these are just my first impressions, I'm not saying it's better or worse than GingerDX. Sorry if you do not agree with me
Hate To Be The One To Put It Like This But....

@xperiafan13
So in essence you have taken minicm7 and installed other peoples work (yes i have taken note of the fact that you edited the framework, congratulations on that, but my current guess on how far that the editing actually went was to use zipthemer to install the transparent lockscreens) and as a fair few others have done, named it their own.
The only way in wich it seems to me that this ROM could possibly be faster than GingerDX, is because you have managed to install the SmartAss governor or the supercharger script, none of this is your own work
By the fact that you have left no other details than:

The only conclusion that i could possibly come to is that you are just looking for other people to build a ROM for you.
Beans.

Can someone confirm to me thet this is a copy of some other dev?
if yes, which one?
Thanks
I see, so this is an unauthorized copy.
Thread close, as i said in your other closed thread, you need to have rights to use a rom from another developer.

Ok, i've just made a comparison from this rom and minicm7, yes it's a copy with some file added.
I have no problem to re-open this thread as i've nothing against new developers but, please, contact the original developer and ask him if you can use his rom as your base other then add credits to first post ( and some additional infromation), make this and then pm me when you are ready.
Thread is open again, i've got a pm from OP with permissions from nobodyAtall .

[ROM][GB 2.3.4] ForsakenGB v3.5|GB 2.3.7 UI|init.d|Supercharged|Aroma addon|Dec. 11

ForsakenGB v3.5 FINAL
Hello all!
Thank you all for checking the ROM in the last few months, I hope you enjoyed it like I did. This is the final release as I don't have the Ray anymore. See you around!
Again, note that I am not a dev exactly, I barely have some ideas about code and script, so bug fixing if any would be difficult; nevertheless, the cooking is all me.
This is made following the available guides and information on xda and for fun.

Before starting you already have to know how to unlock the bootloader, use Flashtool and install/use CWM and kernels.
Note that the installation wipes everything.
1. Have your bootloader UNLOCKED
2. Stock Gingerbread installed
3. Unrar the archive in your PC
4. Connect the device in MTP mode with USB Debugging Enabled
5. Double click the AutoFlash1.0-beta4.exe and follow the instructions
6. Let the ROM load for the first time and set it up
7. Reboot in CWM and flash the Aroma app addon or the Music Control Lockscreen (Optional)
- Fastboot drivers must be installed.
- Do not unplug the USB cable until the Autoflash window closes.
- The installation will leave an update.zip in the root of the card, delete it if you want after is finished.
- You can also start the installation in an unrooted .42 GB, but it will take longer.
* Simplified:
Just unrar and copy in the card the update.zip file found in the system folder and flash it.
Installation LOCKED bootloader:
1. Stock Gingerbread installed, rooted and with CWM
2. Unrar "ForsakenGB_v3.5_Final_CWM.rar" in the root of the SD card
3. Reboot in CWM recovery
4. Restore backup 2012-12-11.08.15.06
5. Let the ROM load for the first time and set it up
6. Reboot in CWM and flash the Aroma app addon if you want
DISCLAIMER
As always, you are the only one responsible of what you are doing with your device, it's your choice to flash it, do your research first.

I had a better experience in GB too, when playing Running Fred for example, I always had some annoying lag in ICS.

Nice rom... but theres no file manager. Kindly add it nice time? tnx
No, I didn't add it. There are many choices and people use different ones like Astro, ES File Explorer, Root Explorer, etc.
All are available in Google Store.

I've been wondering that myself, I also wanted to add some and remove others. Here's the original thread in the Arc dev section, maybe there are answers there :silly:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1614121
Edit: as an alternative you could flash hansip's mod, it will change a bit the home bar if you flash it like that but you will have the Quickpanel settings.
If you want too keep the semi-transparent home bar just get the mod made by hansip87 and delete the home.apk from the zip before flashing it.
Update: addon added in first post.
Small update: init.d scripts addon added to first post.
Using this rom now for a couple of days. Looks nice, I always modded the xperia S icons etc. myself too.
Rom displayed a little lagg occasionally while on 768 Mhz, but nothing out of the extraordinary. Remark about contacts: When you enter the name of a contact, it searches according to the telephonenumbers. I recall not having that problem when I manually flashed the leaked xperia S apk's. I assume it is safe to change this?
Just flashed the updated init.d script, lets see what it can do. Was using the rom without those tweaks.
All in all great rom, thanks!!

I wouldn't know about that issue, I never underclocked the CPU, only overclock

That's odd, I don't seem to have that issue, If I enter 2 or 3 letters of a name, the names with those letters are displayed for me, not the numbers. Change what you need and share .

Me too, I haven't tested them for a long time too see any changes, I just got them one by one and see if they are executed properly and made an update.
Thanks for the feedback!
New known issue: The alarm seems to be anti-lazy people, this morning when the alarm rang I hit "slide to unlock", after that I entered the unlock pattern and I couldn't stop the thing, I had to reboot. It was annoying but at least I woke up on time.
So as a workaround if this happens hit snooze, unlock the phone and then stop the alarm
Can I use another kernel??

Yes sure, I haven't tried many but it should be fine. The other day I accidentally flashed sirkay's 7,341 for ICS and worked, but I haven't tested it properly on this ROM. I sticked to GB kernel.

Sorry, cannot reproduce, I never had this. It was installed on a clean stock GB and full wipe + dalvik from CWM? Nevertheless, I don't know what to say because I never seen this, on-screen home and hardware home button always worked, even in all previous beta versions I made.

Update:

Some of you may have heard of tablet mode and if you have tried it you know well that it smashes your phone. Apps are small, their layout is screwed, things overlap, crash or stop working, Google Play forbids you to download, if you tried AOKP you cant even use launcher and phone. In short, it is a mess.
PARANOIDANDROID changed that. It does not "heal" tablet mode, it obliterates the boundaries. You define how big or small apps are, you define in which UI they display, no matter if your phone runs in tablet or phone mode, which also you can define. Customize every single entity on your phone, lockscreen, navigationbar, system-components, widgets, apps. If you prefer stay with your three bearpaw buttons + drop-down curtain or switch to a combined navigationbar + drop-up notificationcenter, enjoy Youtube in 3D, Gmail and settings in 2-columns, Chrome in its better mobile UI, etc. Nothing overlaps, nothing crashes, everything works as you'd expect. This is completely new ground and has never been realized before, it is lightyears from tablet mode.
We created it to establish the idea that tablet/hybrid mode can indeed work and that is was an error on Googles side to use the same layout for high resolution devices that is used on tiny little things like htc wildfire. We saw how badly build.prop tablet-mode was milked so we decided to remain closedsource until the codebase is mature enough to publish. Our first repos went public last week and the rest will follow soon, i will personally commit the hybrid sourcetree into CM9. Until then, do not ask us for sources, we have good reason to do it like this and when it's out people will know why, they will see something that works, not features for show. We are still fully open to ports. As long as they stay true to our vision and base on CM9.

TIPS AND TRICKS
HOW TO INSTALL
-If you are on cm9 rom then you can install directly without wipe so that all your data will be safe but to remain on the safer side i suggest to do a complete wipe before flashing this rom
You need to wipe all things if you are come from any other rom except cm9
HOW TO APPLY ANY SIZE THEME FROM THEME CHOOSER(MDPI,HDPI,XHDPI,WVGA AND OTHERS)
-Download the theme you want and install it and then go settings\paranoid settings\hybrid settings\list of apps\all and select theme chooser and select a phone ui and lower the dpi from 160 if u want to apply bigger themes than mdpi and put dpi 160 if u want mdpi theme.hurray! now u can apply any theme on this rom.1st rom to feature this.thanks to darkknight for pointing it out. There are still many hidden facts.Maybe u can find one
SIZE ISSUE
-Some apps in tablet mod are too big to fit our screen like camera so change its ui to phone ui and also try to use some 3rd party lockscreen because the built in lockscreen a little unfit to our device.
you can change dpi of any apps so change it that you find suitable
HOW TO
*long press power button and select toggle statusbar to hide\unhide the statusbar.
*overclock or set the default governer to performance to have a better experience.
*check softkeys under paranoid settings to have softkeys on statusbar
*DON'T REDUCE THE DENSITY OF ANY APP LESS THAN 120 OR THE APP WILL FORCE CLOSE
*u can switch the ui from tablet ui to phone ui under paranoid settings\hybrid settings\list of apps\select app and change the ui and density\hit apply.u can change the density and ui of all system and downloaded apps here.
*report some major bugs and do leave some feedback
LIST OF APPS SUPPORTING TABLET UI Link
WARNING
-Do not disable both tablet ui and hybrid mode in paranoid settings or u may get a bootloop.
WHAT IS THIS ROM?
-It is a cm9 based rom having all features a cm9 rom can do plus some extra cool features added to it.this rom has some features that is just present in this rom like ability to apply any size theme in theme chooser, having bottom statusbar with real tablet ui,apps with tablet ui,navigation buttons that looks good on our screen and many more ,
HOW TO AGAIN ENABLE TABLET UI AGAIN ONCE YOU LOOSE IT BY DESELECTING TABLET UI AND REBOOTING
-Open up the any root explorer and go to system and mount system as read and write(r\w) and long press build prop and select open in text editor.now search for "ro.sf.lcd_density=120" and put 85 instead of 120 and save it and then reboot.now u will have your tablet ui back

Cool
Thanks for continuing to make a new rom for stock kernel :good:
Congrats for new thread, now i try this rom, Xperience Walkman V3
i use X8, stock kernel, locked bootload, memory external 8gb. Need some adjust after install, but after it this rom very smooth, stable and UI very indentical to original S.E firmware.
Some + and - i got here
+
1. walkman boot screen. i like it 100%. remembering me to S.E at A2 platform age, when i still make flash menu and walkman skin for my fone.
2. Nice Walkman music player, and interface also very similar to original S.E firmware.
3. Large Memory Available, compared with my previous rom.
4. Minimum Apk come with this rom, more flexible for each people to choose what they want
5. Xloud, bravia engine, walkman player, timescape, and others else of SONY mark.
-
1. booting take very long time, about 3-4 minutes every turn on
2. i did correct install at stock kernel, locked boot, latest firm and baseband, also did instruction about wipe, but first time boot after installing language is not english, its Spanyola... olaallaaa.. hmm thats not big prob i think, since i remember each button until change language at Setting.
3. Little lag, until change some setting, animation, heapsize, etc etc. and all become very smooth.
4. DSP Manager sometime Force Close, sometime not.
5. Background colour for Setting is not orange walkman, i think its more to brown. i more like orange walkman (my subjective)
Thats my review after some hours using this rom, i'm not test all yet, but i can say.. this rom very good for daily use, very smooth and very matching for Walkman Lover

4.- DSP FC because some songs ,They have problems with some libraries of audio enhancements.
5.-Background , It was taken from the orange theme from SEMC debran Engine
--Cheers--
Great rom, but... try to make a "lite version", because all instaled stock app fill almost all ram(25 mb ram free with ram manager<<balanced-more free memory>>) . Also, boot take a little bit too much time. And aroma instaler on stock kernl look great. Anyway, gj.
Ever thought of making an ICS rom? I'm a big fan of your Rom!
not come with wallpaper, hmm did i need download susan coffey .rar too ?? hahaaa
at Setting, i notice cyanogen setting name is become"Gingercruzt Setting" looks like some credit? how i can change it to default name again if allowed ?

for dat i did press some buttons, bt i forgot which am sorry
Hey man, really good job. I like this ROM a lot, goes smooth with stock kernel, and overclocked to 710mhz I got 1670 with Antutu, which is pretty good for this device and stock
The pro's:
- Overclock possible withouth the need of extra nothing.
- Smooth and nice.
- Walkman stuff-style.
- Sound is GOOD!
Although, like already stated by above coments:
- The 3-5 mins boot is quite a pain, lol. But, once it loads lockscreen and signal, unlock it and is pretty much done, ready to use. (Some roms get to lockscreen faster but if you unlock it, its all laggy for a while till it finishes loading stuff).
- The settings animations aren't quite an Xperience . I disabled those.
- Free ram is 25-50mb. Which i'm actually fine with. (Q1: is this a con?)
And I'd recomend:
- Remove Timescape, and WalkMate (this one at least xD).
- Replace OI File Manager, for ES File Explorer. Highly recomended.
Q2: Maybe replacing the bootanimation fixes the boot-time? Or silencing it?
En fin. Excelente trabajo! Espero una V4!!
home.apk i'ts so good
good luck
MINOR BUG
some minor bugs i found after few day use Xperince Walkman mod V3 at stock kernel.
1. Can't send contact via bluetooth
2. Google Play store apps make phone hang and restart after 10-30 minutes browsing. i try at wifi and 3G internet.
3. Some file manager apps like ES file manager, rootexplorer, FX, and others are restarted and back to root folder when open folder contained lots file. (i dont know its bugs at rom or caused my sdcard size is 8gb and used space is more than 7gb).

I too was confused.
But I realised that HW buttons worked.
Touchscreen in AROMA installer not working,so use volume buttton + - adn home button to accept,or menu!
Minor bug:
- In some menus, like when you hold power button (or that menu that appears when you touch and hold for a sec in a desktop - home -, like trying to add a widget), the selection highlight when touched its not working.

This rom, entitled MiniCM9, is ported from LG Pecan (Optimus Me/P350) which I believe is smoother than current CM9 nightly build while also provide extra settings. I ported this because I wanted an up-to-date version of CM9 which has minimal bugs and doesn't have unnecessary apps that will slowing it down, so this is CM9.1 with many apps removed which you won't miss.

MiniCM9 Theme:
MiniCM9 theme, is the valid successor for MiniCM6 and MiniCM7 legacy.
It is designed as close as possible to the original specs of ICS, in order to be a lightweight, beautiful alternative to the stock theme. However it is tweaked in several parts of the UI, in order to fit better to our small device's screen.

Yes u can.
Dude i tried this ROM, and noticed two great things, super smooth, and light. But there are 2 other things i'd like to say. First of all, why is the color light blue? Even the Play Store icon looks light blue, instead of the original. Is it some graphic bug or the rom is like that? Please tell me how to fix it. Second, the keyboard is too large. It occupies half of the screen, and looks odd. Can that be fixed too, but that is not much of a problem.
Also I'd like to say, what is Swap feature in Performance settings? How does it work and what are the optimal settings? And what is that "Undervolt GPU" feature?
Installed succefull!
I installed this ROM and It's working very smooth!
One question: does it has not support for other languanges than English? how to install language pack?
Cheers!

It's MiniCM9 theme you saw on 2nd post. You can select Original ICS theme on Settings > Themes.

Please use google to search about swap on linux. I can't explain here as it will be off topic and too lengthy.
currently stuck with jc v6 as its my daily driver Cant move on easily ! Next rom change would be this for sure Will be waiting
I am very happy with this rom finally i can use ics fast as stock gingerbread.
Great!! i'll try this one Thank you Andwie, i really love all your roms!
Someone please clarify this for me if I don't want SD merge I should just flash the ROM as usual right? I just want the ROM without the SD merge
GAPPs?
1.) Is this ROM has GAPPs pre-installed?
If YES, can you create one which has no GAPPs...?
If NO, Nice :good:
2.) Is it Non-SDMerg User Accessible? Or just like JCv6 (which is for SDMerg user only)
Cause I'm not a SDMerg user (Can't see why you should, since there's Link2SD. Your arguments are invalid )
3.) Can I use my Modded System Applications (SystemUI.apk, framework.jar, Settings.apk) from my Stock CM9-20130929 and push it within MiniCM9?
4.) Can you kindly share what files did you trimmed to make it a ~75MB-sized ROM? I'm just curious...
5.) I like to make my own Theme App as a System-Default Theme. How can I do that? Or if ever so, where's the directory for it?
6.) Thanks a lot for the New ROM. Will try it soon, since I can't use it as of now (random issues)... And also thanks if you would answer my Qs
Great ROM.Only a bit of lag in dialer when not used for a while
