[Q] GT-I9300 not recognizing external SD card - Anyone else with this problem? - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys!
I've recently been running CM 10-10.1 and I've always had the problem, that the SD card isn't recognized. Now I've reverted back to Android Revo. HD and I've still got the same problem, the SD card was tested in several other devices and it worked there - It's the same 16GB SD that came with my device (Special offer at the German Telekom, whilst the device was still new).
I've tried several things, like formatting it on other Android devices, in Ubuntu, in Windows and even on a Mac - Nothing will work.
I just ran a logcat and copied as much as I could (I never really do this, so I'm not entirely sure how to directly write this to a file from the Power Shell.
Logcat:

I hope that's enough info, because I'm at the end with my Latin :S
And yes, I'm 1mio% positive that the SD card is plugged in
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Can someone PLEASE help me with an app?

I just got security cameras installed at work. wwwdot genivtechnology dotcom is the manufacture. If you search "G4SS" that is the app I'm supposed to use. The app is not compatible with the Thunderbolt. Is it ALL Thunderbolts or just mine? I've talked to some people who said they can pull it up and get the download button. I'm NOT rooted, but I'm running Android2.3.4. Is there a way to download it to my pc then transfer it to my SD card and open it that way??
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Data retrieval from water-damaged phone?

Hey everyone,
I recently took my beloved Amaze for a swim in the Atlantic Ocean, and it no longer works. (duh, lol) I have some pictures saved on the internal memory of the phone that I would love to get back, by any means necessary. I know that on the HTC HD7, the internal memory was an actual micro SD card inside the phone. Would that be the case for the Amaze? And if not, are there any other ways that you guys can think of to access the data? Thanks for any and all suggestions you have.
Some info:
The phone won't connect to the computer via USB, nor will the orange charging light come on if power is applied. Thanks again.
You have but very few chances to get your pictures back. Even if you manage to power the phone, your internal memory could have been automatically formatted because the circuits were closed. Check this thread.
I could find no service manual on the Net, but I have a picture of my mother board, maybe someone will help you to localize the internal memory on it.

Install apps to sd card

Okay well I tried looking through a few threads on how to do this, as well as a couple articles I found on google, and I can't necessarily figure out how to get this working. So what I want is for my apps I download from now on to install to my new SD card I just bought for my phone. I installed Java, and the Android SDK.. Ran the command prompt, tried the whole adb shell pm set-install-location 2.. no errors came back, command went through find.. but when I install apps, they dont show up in the sd card. When I view the info for the app, it shows it installed to USB Storage app(See pic below) .. so im wondering what USB storage app is.. and how do I get this to work?

FYI, its just a random app I installed to see if it worked.
? anyone?
On my Huawei Tablet with stock ICS 4.0.3, the part of the app installed to sd card also showed as "usb". And that was the Android revision where app2sd worked best, with 4.0.4 it was gone completely, like L9's v10.

Moving apps to SD card

Hello guys this is my first topic so sorry if it is repost, which I doubt because I'm looking for this all day. So here is the deal. I bought HTC DESIRE 516 DUAL SIM. After that I understand that with this device you cannot move apps to the SD card. I'v tried all day to change the installation location with ADB from 0 (auto) to 2 (external) and finally I did it.

But still the [Mod edit: Please watch your language] device is downloading and installing apps in the phone. Am I doing something wrong? Please help. I don't want to root it because I bought it one week ago. I just need to move the apps. Thanks
Forgot to tell you that I've tried this trick: I made new partition on the SD card 2 GB primary ext2 and i hopped that then it will work but still downloading and installing on phone. Link2SD also doesn't work without root...
any suggestions?

Ive heard its a common thing in Jelly bean that app2sd is not supported... My Xperia M also does not support it since 4.3 update
Now I left install location on 2 and I try to install an app it's giving me an error "insufficient memroy"...

Hi all, I have a car GPS device, NAVIX NVX 9609 DHD model. The device has Chinese Windows CE 6.0 installed. I found that EasyConnected.exe can support the phone screen through usb connection. Even though I installed it with 'EasyConnected install.exe' on the micro sd card I formatted in fat32 format, it does not work and it does not give any warning. There is a line like '<autoconnect autocon = "2" />' in the xml file cfg in the folder EasyConnected, do I need to change anything? If any idea on this matter helps you please.
Best regards
