Google Wallet - AT&T LG Optimus G

I searched for this but found nothing concerning our phones. Has anyone found a fix to get wallet to work on our phones? I've tried the build prop changes and flashed random zips. Even installed some modified apks.
Thanks in advance.

I would be interested in this as well of some one can find a fix.

Would changing the name of our phone in build.prop to the Sprint version or Rogers version, and the target operator work at fooling the Play Store so it would download, then changing it back once it was loaded up? I'd try it if I had the name used by Sprint's or Rogers' build.prop.
Edit:
The files that seem they'd work if changed in build.prop are:
ro.build.fingerprint
ro.build.target_operator

Nope, i think it requires some libs too. I know someone did it on the GS3

Yeah, there is already a forum that was dedicated to this on XDA (mikeYxda, I think). They eventually stopped the updates but he was the first one to port it for ICS. Towards the end they mention it being a beeyatch to do and if you want the updated version, either get JB or a phone that runs it! Guess they were done with updating, eh?

Resurrecting my dead thread. Wallet is now available on the market running JB. Downloads but doesn't install. Anyone know what libs or build prop changes we can try to get this working?
Sent from my LG-E970 using xda app-developers app

It won't work. Our phone doesn't have a secure element in it (hardware). Thank AT&T for that.

Wrong section.
No idea though about your question lol
Someone will get it sooner or later us cappy users have it through a i9000 kernel and from what I understand that isnt needed u could just change your build.prop to mimic that of the phones that are "ACCEPTED FOR USE"! I recall seeing a thread on this somewhere but im sure you know how to use the search function so good luck!

Nope... It's 2 parts. Stagefright AND an appropriate build.prop

My Verizon

Has anyone found a working MyVerizon apk that will work with the 7/30 nightly synergy rom? I've tried multiple apk files found in other threads addressing this issue, but I always install it and then get a maintenance error. I've ran the fix permissions tool in Rom Manager but still no luck. Is there any suggestions for this issue?

Thanks for the attempt to help. I already had the sso engine, but just for the hell of it I decided to go ahead and redownload this one. After installing this engine I had the same issue as before. Im not a developer so I have no idea what could be the problem, but it would be great if someone could figure this out. I believe many people who have the new capped data plans would appreciate this.

Unfortunately, ATM there is not a working MyVerizon for Gingerbread ROMs. The problem exists on Verizon's end. They won't build an app for Thunderbolts with Gingerbread because officially the Thunderbolt doesn't have Gingerbread.
The price we pay for rooting, I guess.
I want it back too but I can wait. I'm not sacrificing root access for one app.

Why would you want My Verizon? So many better apps from the market/Amazon App Store.

I tried running that, and it wouldn't work, it said I had to update it. If you refuse the update, it closes. If you do update, it doesn't work.
I was using uberBAMF Sense 3.0.

Having trouble getting NFL mobile to work as well. From what I have gathered if you backed up data using TIBU these apks will work, if not your sol.
I am also on Gingeritis 3D VII, I installed My Verizon from this link and when I run the MyVZW and force me update. It screwed doesn't work anymore after updated. Just like Schedonnardus mentioned pretty much same issue in my side.

(waves jedi hand) You don't want verizon products on your phone.
Any luck on modifying the updated version?
I am assuming you get the message that you have to install some vz log in software to use the app if so I found a work around. i loaded the latest ruu and backed up all system data using titanium. Once I did that I flashed back to bamf and then used titanium to restore the com.vzw.permissions apk once I did that I rebooted and my Verizon started to work. When I get to work tomorrow ill try to post the apk so we can see if it works for others
Ok guys try this:
http://db.tt/2AEdRXd
It should install no problem, but if you guys have a problem drop the file into system/app folder using root explorer. Once installed reboot then download my Verizon from the market.

[Q] Just installed CM 9, now can't activate

I registered just to find out what I can do besides taking it to sprint, ICS takes away the Update profile/PRL option so I'm screwed. whenever i do the manual activation it calls a number thats not even in service. This was my 1st time rooting on this phone I came so close without a problems ugh
I searched the forum and the only solution I saw was to download sprintzone.apk and install and activate thru it. But once i opened the app it simply said it was no longer available
It's best to do that before installing any CM/AOSP ROM... Your prl don't change when you do.. And profile shouldn't either i honestly don't know what profile do anyway
Sent from my MB855 using xda premium
I heard a rumor that I need to load some kind of blur rom to update my profile/PRL then try again
its not a rumor. cyanogenmod doesnt support that kind of stuff
got it fixed, downgraded to a blur rom then after it loaded went back up to CM9! delete

Bell Mobile TV

Does this app only with with stock firmware? Can anyone confirm that you can still root and run an OC kernel on the stock firmware and this app will still work?
It should work if you're still using bell rom and modem

Maybe Edit Build prop ?
I know for Rogers I had to edit the build prop to get access to their tv programming. Not too sure about Bell though.
Funny Ive asked the same question in the past, and still no answer. I'm rooted and tinkering. I personally would like to use a custom rom and figure out how to get bell mobile tv to work. stock is nice but boring. lol
I honesty don't think its possible for this to work on CM9 at this point. I got it to work once by modifying the build.prop model name and flashing a Bell modem on my old SGS2. The same method does not work on the Note. The closest I have come is a message that says "mobile TV coming to your device soon" which means nothing to me. Anyone know how the product model is listed in the stock ICS Bell ROM? I'm guessing its SGH-I717M but I could be wrong, this is what I have modified my build.prop to (as you can see from my sig) yet still no luck. Would like to set this up as it would be nice to check out the Olympics while I'm at work

I would be happy if it would work on any custom rom. Cm9 is nice but stock is boring as hell. Would be sweet ass if someone could cook a bell custom rom. I would if i knew how and had the time.

I tried porting the files, but it didn't work. I really dont know what other things need to be modified. I downloaded the mod and saw that it changed the android.policy.jar which I modified. Maybe some other smali needs to be changed.

I have the multi window feature on an international note I'm using temporarily (my wife wants to try a smartphone) to replace my i717. I haven't even used it yet and can't think of a situation where I could have been better off for using it. I guess people want what they can't have.
IMO in would enjoy texting and videos or email and browser. I would find a use a lot

I have played around with it on s3s and I thought it was a pretty useful feature.
Sent from my SGH-I717D using xda app-developers app
Thanks for the insights. I guess my eyes aren't up to that. I got the note so I could enjoy the large screen. I imagine its just a matter of time before its available.
I used it on a s3 and i dont think i would use it asuch as i thought but i dunno... I just use the recent apps to jump around
Yeah, I think its not a practical thing on a note, but on a 7inch or larger tablet it ciuld be useful for the ways the previous posters described.
Must have
This is a must have feature for people like me because i am always trying to do three things at once with my phone but if i can do two at a time thats a time saver. Blackstar ROMs almost have this perfected. They have the multi window app tray when you hold the back button and you can pull apps out to use for multi window but they do come out half size so they just overlap. I tried downloading Multi window manager and it tried to patch an XML file i think but it still didnt work after. If anyone has some advice on how to get it to work you should check it out
