Q: How do I install the rom?!
A: (Thanks to anarchychris for putting these together)
Download the ViperXL 3.0.0 from the download section
Confirm the md5 checksum is correct on both files (it will be noted on the dl page)
Place the file somewhere on your phone storage
Reboot to TWRP recovery
Backup current ROM
Install ROM using twrp and select wipe during aroma install if coming from another base
You will need to extract this from the ROM zip. I have found the following tool useful: [TOOL] HTC Auto Boot.img Installer (One Click Tool)
Reboot and Enjoy
Some people flash the boot.img before flashing the ROM but in my experience it works either way
Q: I have a problem with the ROM (FC, Boot Loop, apps closing automatically). How can I get my problem resolved?
A: First things first. Try wiping data and replicating the issue:
Rebooting into Recovery
Perform a Nandroid backup (of just Data if you wish)
Flash the ROM and select the option to "Wipe Data"
Try replicating the issue
If the problem persists, capture a logcat and send it to me.
To capture a logcat, If you have fastboot setup, you already have the drivers installed and probably already have adb.exe in the same folder as fastboot.exe:
Open the Command Prompt (run it as Administrator if UAC is enabled in Windows)
run adb logcat >c:\logcat.txt
If it's just not booting, let it run for about 20 seconds. If it's a FC, replicate the FC in this step
Press Control-C to stop logging
Paste the contents of c:\logcat.txt into http://pastebin.com
Post the link here with the problem being experienced
Hopefully, I'll have a fix available (assuming I'm not too busy) that others can benefit from.
Q: Whats the md5 sum thing?
A: It ensures, that the rom is downloaded correctly and completly to avoid weird issues when installing/using the rom. Google for "md5 sum checker" and you should find what you need.
Q: I found a theme or mod, will it work on this rom?
A: It's NOT recommended to use mod/themes that dont clearly state, that they are compatible with our rom. Thems/Mods always use framework files which will brake mods/stuff in our rom.
Q: My question is not listed here, what to do?
A: Ensure you used the xda search, google and your brain before asking a question in the thread. If you cant find an answer yourself we will answer your question for sure! (-:

Can we put cwm back on to flash themes (ect) instead of twrp once the rom is installed because twrp doesnt charge with the phone off so I'd prefer cwm being on here just in case of an emergency

Q: Whats the md5 sum thing?
A: It ensures, that the rom is downloaded correctly and completly to avoid weird issues when installing/using the rom. Google for "md5 sum checker" and you should find what you need.
Q: My phone stucks on HTC splash screen
A: "fastboot erase cache" in fastboot and flash the boot.img or use the boot.img flasher provided here.
Q: What means PkMn?
A: It stands for Pokemon and it's more a fun name....we will have fun here right? =D
Q: I found a theme or mod, will it work on this rom?
A: It's NOT recommended to use mod/themes that dont clearly state, that they are compatible with our rom. Thems/Mods always use framework files which will brake mods/stuff in our rom.

However, i modded the systemui.apk to hide the location icon (it will show an icon only while searching for signal) and also to show 3g/1x. This will not fix the tweaks menu option.

INSTALLATION:
- Use the latest TWRP recovery.
- Go into "advanced" in TWRP, select your wipe option to "rm -rf" and NOT "format", otherwise the ext4 tweaks are useless.
- Full wipe for ANY milestone build, or your first run on our ROM, we've changed a LOT from the stock RUU, or any other ROM.
- Make sure you're NOT plugged in to avoid issues with aroma freezing.
- Click the install button in recovery, find and select our ROM zip, click install.
- AROMA will start now:
- Read things thoroughly, and have fun.
- Use the customize feature to install various options, there's LOADS!
- You can always go back if you miss something or change your mind.
- Boot the system when you're done.
- Choose to copy aroma flash log.
- Boot process happens.
- If you have any add ons that aren't part of AROMA or the ROM, boot back to recovery now and install them.

Based off of SVN r350 (The updates in SuperLTE r351 were app updates that are apps not included in Bareback so I didn't bother re-uploading a new version because we can't all have upload speeds like Mr Steal25)
-Other than that there were not really any specific changes other than I swapped in the AOSP calculator because the Sense one is ugly, and I slightly themed the AOSP one to make it all black/white/gray since the blue was annoying me.
-There is a zip in updater if you want the update prl/profile options
-And QQ settings are on by default since Bareback has no Aroma for you to choose if you want it or not-I chose for you ;p

Based off of SVN r315 (M3)
-Nova Launcher is now default launcher. Apex appears to not want to play nicely with Bareback and throws up this annoying graphical glitch.
-Settings has been updated with Nova Launcher settings now where Apex Launcher settings used to be. Thank Steal25 because he did that, and he is neat.
-AOSP Browser is now default browser, Chrome has been removed.
-Swype now works again. Thanks for your help v01rider, now switch to a good keyboard like Swiftkey
-Browser sync has been added back in so it works again.
-Removed OASVN because um..there is no SVN for Bareback and I should have yanked that from the public build long ago.
That's about it on my end. I did not add back in the update section to settings. There is a flashable zip for that. I believe il Duce has fixed up the lockscreen zip. Even if he didn't, find him and give him a thanks because he is swell.
As always, find Hockeyfamily737 because he is mostly responsible for this, and if you are in his area go help him paint a fence and give him a Dave Matthews Band CD (hurl)
Also, thanks to mrrodgers1 and volk9029 for testing a couple things and confirming I wasn't crazy with seeing the Apex glitch when Duce couldn't be bothered to test for me for once (I love you long time Duce), report any lockscreen requests/issues to Mr Duce.

U mean with the 3D plugin ?
Also when I played 3D video on the latest r268..and the video didn't play infact my phone stuck in 3d so I had to reboot....do I need to flash the Rom again or is it happening with everyone..
Also 1 more thing I can't change my font .. it just gets stuck :

Does anyone else have problem with exchange sync? I just get an err. message saying that sync has problems and will be back soon ... tried to remove the account and add it back, result is the same.

when i first installed the rom i selected to have the status bar and weather to be transparent how can i change that now that im on the rom ive looked every where i think

For those options you get during installation the only way to change those is to reflash the rom and choose the new option you'd like

Nice Rom, I like the look of the inverted apps. I have one request. I would love to see the highlighting disappear. For example, the check boxes, and radio buttons have highlights of whichever theme color you have chosen. Also settings app does the same thing. Its very ugly to have the highlights included. Is there a way to make a stock, black/transparent theme, with no highlighting/overlay colors?

So if I want to use custom icons, checkboxes, and radio buttons, I don't have the ugly green highlighting over the top off them. So transparent would be best.

5.11.1540.9 official sense 6 AT&T base build is done,hopefully itll get tested enough to shift over to here....

I have the AT&T m8. How can I upgrade the firmware to the 2.22 base? Cause I tried it and I kept getting an incompatible error in adb.
