I'm on ICS ROM with sense 4.0a
Anyone can help me enabling transition animation? It seems no different wether i switch it ON or OFF from developers options.
Tried replacing anim folder inside framework-res.apk with several methods, it did change the window transition, but not transition the animation.
Any clue?

Hey all, wondering if anyone knows what files I have to swap to change the shutdown animation on this Optimus T. I have been able to change the boot animation but the shutdown images aren't located in any place I am familiar with and aren't in directories noted in threads for other devices. Any help is a plus!

Hello is it possible to have the original boot animation with the crt animation??
If i not modify the build.prop only the framework-res.apk i have original boot animation and crt animation, but the crt animation is a bit slower then when modify the build.prop. i knew that the original boot animation is hold in the bootanimation.qmg and the program who can extract the files is qmage.
Is it possible to make the crt animation working with modified build.prop and get the original bootanimation from samsung working???
What is the correct way to remove the custom sprint boot/shutdown animations? I did it by removing the following files:
/system/customize/resource/Sprint_bootanimation.zip
/system/customize/resource/Sprint_downanimation.zip
This results in the default "ANDROID" boot animation and no shutdown screen (like I wanted) Is this the correct way of going about it?

Do you want HTC boot animations or vanilla virgin boot animations?
I just wanted to completely remove the sprint boot animations, as I hate them. I was just wondering if simply removing the files was the correct way to go about it, or If I needed to modify anything else.
Right now I have a HTC boot animation, that is stock, and I'm fine with that.
How would i go about disabling the CRT-off animation on bigxie's google play edition rom (4.3)? It's driving me 100% crazy.
EDIT: Figured it out. Decompiled framework-res.apk and changed config_animateScreenLights in res/values/bools.xml from "false" to "true". Recompiled and did an adb push while in recovery (TWRP) with system mounted. Screen now fades out without the slow and lame CRT-off animation. Anyone who needs the modified file, let me know!

I already changed my boot animation but I can't seem to find the down animation anyone know where it might be???
I tried searching at system/media , system/customize/resource
nothing exists just the boot animation in system/media.
I want to have a down animation
even data/local - nothing

On my phone there is two boot animations & two down animations. In system/customize/resource there should be hTC_downanimation.zip & TMOUS_downanimation.zip
