[Q] Persistent Google Search bar in Rosie launcher? - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

Does anyone know if it's possible to add the persistent Google Search bar to the top of every screen in the Rosie launcher? I like this feature from AOSP based ROMs as well as 3rd party launchers, as it doesn't take up screen real estate for widgets/apps.
Thanks.

How to hide status / notification bar

On most apps the status bar on top just wastes 5-10% of the screen height.
Is there a way to hide it ?

I read something but that is more for developers.
Is there an app or other trick to hide theis bar and to use the full screen ?
My Galaxy is rooted.
ADW ex launcher.
Most 3rd party launchers will do that, but I bet you miss it once it's gone

Have to admit that that's true
Didn't think I would, but...
But having it back without the clock via Revolution ROM is even better.
I tried ADW Launcher, but can only hide the status bar in the home screen like in Go Launcher.
But when starting an app (in most apps) it reappears again.
What I mean is hiding it within an app.

[Q] Is there a way to get a widget to stay on screen when scrolling?

I really like the look and feel of some of the Google Now inspired themes and launchers, like SF Launcher. Particularly I like how different elements of the homescreen scroll independently. ie there is a top bar that is static and the widgets and apps scroll separately.
Is there a way to replicate this functionality on Nova/Apex Launcher or any of the other standard launchers? Specifically is there a way to have a widget that stays on screen when scrolling through pages of apps?

Is there a way to make any widget persistent?

I use the DuckDuckGo widget for my searches as opposed to Google and would really love to be able to make it persistent like the Google search bar can be. I'm using Nova at the moment and it allows me to set Google as persistent if I want but it doesn't allow just any widget to be persistent, only the Google search.
If there are other launchers out there that show persistent widgets of your choosing please do tell me, if not if there is a way to make it happen is love to know!

i m also looking for such feature...
Why not just add the widget to the top of every page? It's not as nice, but I don't think there are launchers that support that since it's not nearly as popular

Well the reason I don't do that is because it doesn't look right, for some reason making the widget persistent doesn't look the same as adding a widget to every page. I don't know how to really explain it. Try using a fullscreen widget like Business Calendars 5x5 widget, and stretch it to whatever you have your grid set to, and then enable the persistent search bar. Take a screenshot and then get rid of the persistent search bar and just add one by hand and take a screenshot. They look different, almost like the persistent search bar doesnt take up the phone width of the grid like a regular widget does.
Also persistent widgets dont move the other things on your homescreens doen as far as having to take up another grid does.
Ive seen Overlay but that doesnt really do what i am trying to do, it just allows a floating widget over your screen and floats it on top of what is already there. I am looking for either a launcher or a mod that allows me to change which widget I use as the persistent widget.

[Q] App drawer icon - touchwiz

Hi,
I've been messing around with icons lately in touchwiz (with xposed framework/icon themer) and in other launchers.
After testing a few launchers I think Touchwiz is the best one for me.
With icon themer is was able to change almost any icon in Touchwiz but the app drawer icon is still the stock icon.
So I was wondering if there was a way to manually edit/replace this icon.
Has somebody found a way to do this or is this impossible because of limitations in Touchwiz?
Thanks

Any way to enable TouchWiz Exclusive Widgets in other Launchers?

Hi,
I really love the look of the TouchWiz Widgets-
I found several touchwiz exclusives...
- Weather
- Calendar
- Location
- Magnifier
And I really love my Action Launcher 3. But I cannot have those widgets on Action Launcher...
Of course, I can install the 3rd party apps. But Weather widget will not be coherent with the weather in my lock screen and edge screen.
I am not going to get the Magnifier widget.
I googled a lot but I couldn't find the solution. Anyone knows how I can bring the widgets to the 3rd part launchers?

Unfortunately this is generally not possible, as the widget hooks into the launcher itself and probably does not present itself as available to other launchers the way a normal widget does. I wish it were possible but I'm afraid it's not.

I see. I decided to use Action launcher with 3rd party apps...
By the way, I am from GS3 and I really love the TouchWiz Calendar. It has weather icons inside.
