CM 10.1 For Evo 4G LTE Found - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

I was wondering if anyone else has seen this, i found CM10.1 ROM's for the EVO LTE I may be late with this information, but i have seen no posts here on xda about it. The ROM's can be found here: http://d-h.st/search?search_by=1&search_for=Jewel

I found it through the IRC channel

Best place to get cm is in the IRC channel. #htc-evo-4g-lte on freenode. Also some support, though you'll have to be prepared for mild trolling. Watch out for !bomb n00bs
EDIT: none of those 10.1s are deck(the official cm maintainer for jewel) ROMs. You'd seriously be best off going to the IRC channel.

As someone who trolls noobs in IRC: I enjoy !bombing noobs!

I remember when I first got !bombed. I had no idea what was going on. It was hilarious.
But yeah, IRC is the best place to get the good stuff.

2.1 Roms?

I know everyone here is waiting for the latest and greatest with froyo release but are there any 2.1 roms in the works?
Also inb4 make your own. I don't know how, I wish I did because I would, I don't know why people are withholding their skills because we don't have 2.2...

You're probably about to get flamed for this
But there is work being done, it's just not always visible on this forum. I'd say head over to the irc channel if you're looking for the bleeding edge of development information.
By all means folks don't label me as unapreciative, that's not what I was getting at by any means. I appreciate all the hard work that is being done, I know I myself am by no means helping. Just looking for any info regarding. I like to see what devs can bring to the table and the talent that I wish I had. I'd be more than happy to throw money in the directions of developers, jt and dirrk will soon see some. I can't dev but I do support which is why I asked...

I use yaaic yet another android irc client.... Pretty basic and easy. You'll have to make an account on freenode before you can login.

Looking for people to help create custom rom

No, im not a noob that wants to know how to create a custom rom. I would actually want to create one, but the job seems pretty tough for one person. I wanted to organize a team of people (no name yet) to help create a custom rom- a rom that blows the minds of evo 3d users. its no easy task, thats why im looking for experienced users to help me create one. Give me a pm or reply to this thread if your interested.
I am ready to beta test anything you want me to try out

keep in touch by PM~ but we still need more people to help dev.
I will help test or join

there are already a crapton of really similar roms for the 3d, what features should this new rom have to differentiate from them and why you want to make a new team and not contribute to one of those already working?
Not saying that you shouldnt, just curios about why somebody would want dilute even more the developing process and reinvent the wheel
Join team viper and dev sense 4.

Actually I want to create a time that is mixed in with android 3.0 and jelly bean. I want to call it honeysense, featuring sense 3.X

Sense 4 disentangle offer alit of customization options do to it's graphics folders being inaccessible. Me and many other developers don't want to do a half theme.

i dont mind helping shout me a holler bro and we get started
Can you show us something you've developed so we can see that you aren't actually a noob hoping for a freeride on a dev team? I don't mind noobs at all and I admit I don't really know much about anything when it comes to developing, but if you're acting like at a developer when in fact, you aren't, then that would be a problem.
Now, you should be a bit more specific.
Do you plan to develop for GSM or CDMA?

nice find!!!!! :good:
cant boot into recovery from inside rom. unless i find a "fast boot" option to turn off.
i just installed this kernel. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1873824 so far so good.
^^^ that kernel gave me several reboots. just running stock now.
I think if the dev wanted to post this on XDA, he would have posted himself.
What you develop or enhance to warrant posting this in the development area?
If you encounter any bugs/FC's grab a logcat, pastebin it, and post in the right area at miui.us.

What's your opinion on CyanogenMod .INC

Looks like more negativity then positivity to me.... i think it just might affect us, if their ignoring, shafting and trolling contributers whos going to want to contribute? Looks like CM has joined my ignore rom list alongside Flex360........ oh well, they come and they go and more devs come & create greatness

I think they accomplished what we would all hope for profitability. Doesn't make the tech they put into the now called products they build any less just means they have to play by a different set of rules and the challenge to produce the same quality of work will be impacted. Sure as users we will lose and gain some features. I just hope they don't forget how they got to where they're at and start charging us or worse stop free rom development.
That's what I'm thinking. CM isn't going to be free anymore.

I'm pretty sure its illegal to sell something that's free/open sourced. CM cannot use android and make a Rom and then sell it. Android is open source.
Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk
True yes but then they are Inc. which means as soon as they are contracted to make a retail phone rom then why would they keep making a free rom. It maybe open source but open source does not mean free. May mean that you can use the codes libs and so on for your own development but if it were free red fedora and Ubuntu wouldn't be making money.
KillerofJoy's i535 Rocking MOAR, and CM 11. Can't be helped, flash junky.
I don't believe it would be a bad idea.
