Hello friends,
So finally we have working 'download music info' for unlocked bootloaders..all thanks to Till-Kruspe for porting the new walkman and media apps and to DavidMKD for taking it further and porting the xperia t media apps with working 'download music info' for unlocked bootloaders..
This mod is for people on stock ics rom and using walkman and media ports from Till-Kruspe and few other available here on xda..Those already on the mod by DavidMKD no need to flash this..this is a standalone cwm flashable zip for those on unlocked bootloaders having problem downloading song data from GRACENOTE,plz dont flash this if this feature is already working for u..so here u go..
1.Download the cwm flashable zip here.. https://www.box.com/s/pkle7zfrylkweu1joiad
2.Make a backup of your current rom..
3.Boot into recovery and flash the zip..
4.Wipe cache and dalvik..
5.Reboot and you are good to go..
P.S. - I repeat this is not my work,i have just compiled it to help more people like me having problems on unlocked bootloaders,and all credit goes to Till-Kruspe and DavidMKD so please be thankful to these developers and support their work..

Please read what he wrote.. No point in closing the thread mate. Many of us who downloaded TK's port were stumped to have a non-working Download Music Info due to unlocked bootloaders. Now, no one usually (that includes me) would like to download the whole package again just for one stupid erring app. So just a solo Edit Music Info app for the purpose would be a whole lot simple, don't you think so?

I used your wolkmen apk and some other with another mod and make some mix im sorry i did somethink wrong i do this because all walkmen mod not work fully on my rom and u guys want delete this post delete im sorry for all i only want share this to people have the same problem of me

this is a lockscreen REPLACEMENT for phones that support UxpNxtLockScreen... nothing more than that... this entire thread is almost pointless and in the wrong section too...
for now the only way to get it running on CM9 is to use SDE ROM... or get the necessary files/libs and go decompile/edit/recompile android.policy.jar

Exactly what problems did you face? Also, Backup up your ROM, wipe everything through your respective recovery, flash the ROM again and then flash the walkman from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2206689. If this dosen't work let me know! :good:
EDIT: xLoud won't work BTW! Be warned.

And this thread is the perfect example why there is a restriction, and given the frequency of such questions highlights why the posting restrictions should be stricter for new members. Type music player or media player into the Play Store search bar and try them out.
I'm using AMP+ with Philips Headset. Best quality on my Sennheiser HD407.

Can you extract walkman package from that rom and make a zip of it?I cannot flash that rom because I have locked bootloader and I don't want to unlock it.

Some of the app from xperia zu .......etc .... Is not installing after moving into system with correct permission
after installing this mod will enable the user to use app with out any problem SUCH AS WIDGETS , WALKMAN, ETC FROM XPERIA ZU.....

ROOTED AND DEODEXED ICS .587 or .13 FIRMWARE.
INSTALLATION:
1. WIPE CACHE & DALVIK CACHE... FLASH THE ZIP... WIPE DALVIK CACHE ...
2.REBOOT AND INSTALL THE APP YOU WANT......ENJOY

It's for ICS. Custom JB doesn't need it.
Not sure about live.

Well try this if it works. if not then provide me a stock services.jar file. I'll add the patch & upload.

Dude I Flashed the super user mode on my dark xperia (On My Neov) And after clearing dalvik cache reebooting its stuck in the boot logo ..I will provide you with the services .jar file ..Can u make a patch for it ?? Custom Jb really needs this mod ..I also tried the one for jb in the Sola thread but the same error ..Can u patch it for custom jb ??
