You'll need to flash Cyanogenmod 7 for partial Flash support .

Actually stock with CF Root kernel works too. The 10.3 ported for ARMv6 doesn't work sadly only the 10.1 and 10.2 versions do.
I'm using 10.3 and works!

please tell us whether you are on stock or custom ROM. If its the former, please tell us what you see when you dial *#1234# on your dailer.
I see these three things....pda, phone and csc...

u need to be on cm7 to have partial flash support.
note that i said partial. light flash game maybe will work, but i highly doubt flash video streaming will work. maybe some will work, but its not a guarantee.

I have not tried flash video streaming when i was on Kang Build. However on stock along with the array of modifications i have did (as per my signature), i can stream youtube videos natively on Maxthon and Dolphin HD. The flash menus in samsung.com for e.g. works as well.
Does this counts as partial or full support?

I use it to play flash games.....and stuff.....
It still loses to my sister's Galaxy R though >:L

why i find it hard to understand why anyone would go back to 2.3. i am guessing that you are asking for 2.3 firmware hoping that someone has a version on their desktop for some reason. it is possible i guess, although you should atleast include the request in the title.
Why not just use 4.0?

Dude. Saying please over and over will not really help. Chances that someone has the 2.3 ROM laying around are pretty bad. What is it that google play does?

I've a galaxy s3 9300 with omega rom on it.
Here's the problem.

The app is called tv overal. I really like the app and I use it a lot. But now with the latest update the have implanted a sort of root detection. And now i can't see live tv anymore. . I've read about a topic here on xda with google videos. They made a special apk for it. Can someone please do something like that for this app? I really like to use it , but i want to keep root.

There is an app that allows you to deactivate root for a certain time if I remember well, whereas can't remember the name of it at the moment.

Do you mean ota root keeper ? Because that does not work. Even after a reboot.

Can someone confirm this adapted version still works with a rooted phone ? I need at least to be able to record programs in the TV guide, as I use this a lot. This is the only thing preventing me from rooting my phone (SGS 4)

I'm still using the app now. It works on my galaxy s4 but you can't load the tv guide. Watching tv works. You can record a program if you are watching the program and you push record now.

So you can not program any future programs ? Too bad...
No sadly it says tv overall has stoped. It would be needs if someone find a solution for that. Because I want to use it to.

I've tested it out on different versions. It's always the same problem. You can see tv but you can't go to the tv guide. It's loading and than it says application has stoped. What i do now is using an older version. Version 2.6.1. With this version you can see the tv guide and record programs on your decoder.
With the newest version the xprivacy is not working. You still have the rooting message. I think you have something in the tv guide when you open it , that it also checks root. I really hope that someone can find a good solution for this problem.

Xposed Installer with module Rootcloak works also. First you have to add the TV overal application in the rootcloak list.
Tsested on SGS4 with Omega Rom.
