Ok fellas, me and sportsstar have been working on getting us official Team Venom support for awhile now. And i've finally done it! (well the porting part at least) So i need a couple people from here to test for me, and report any and all bugs you find w/ a logcat.
Im only going to pick 3-5 people
Requirements:
Knowlege of ADB (logcats)
How to flash a rom
How to flash correctly if S=on
Detailed responses
I will pm you with a link if you are selected.
Selected users will know who they are because they will receive a pm with the link
Note to mods: We DO have permission this time. If you'd like, i have the pm's to prove it.

I can be an "un-official" tester meaning I can test it when I can.
I am addicted to flashing, fascinated with innovative wireless development and have two separate notebooks ready to go! from me lol... but it got taken down due to lack of permissions. i fixed that problem though
I can test but my laptop charging port broke and now won't power on so I won't be able to use ADB for awhile. But I'm S-Off and I've flashed every Rom that was posted and tested it for atleast 48hrs unless it was unstable. I'm actually using ViperS 1.4.1 that I dug up in Sports goo.im.
But if you have enough people then I can wait a few days.

Im currently using the 1.4.1 ported version on the amaze, the only thing i can report so far, nightmare kernel looses any custom configuration after reboot. For the rest it seems to be very stable.

Usually use Catlog for the logcats, but can lookup and use the ADB commands if needed.

The first Venom is my DD...with Faux kernel I get about 36hrs.....I am not a Sense fan but Venom I really like

HTC Puccini System Leak
This is a HTC Puccini/Jetstream RUU which contains the system of the HTC Puccini. This cannot be flashed yet, but porting is in progress by me and some others in this thread. If you would like to help, post here or PM me.
Details:
This is a /system leak. In /system on an Android device, the core files and the OS is stored. Data is stored in /data, etc. Basically, when porting, you port /system. It is not as easy as it looks, and will take some time. Like I said earlier, if you would like to help port post here or PM me.
Update: The HTC Jetstream has officially been announced. It is $700... on contract. Fail. You can get yourself top of the line laptops with that money. So our goal is to take this and put it on our Flyers. I will post a schedule below so you know when I am working or not.

I am sorry to say but I cannot always be porting. I am only 11 years old and need to do homework, study for tests, etc. Please do not treat me like a real dev either. It does. I got it ported and to flash successfully last night but obviously didn't boot properly.
Yeah flashing a zip isn't the difficult part, it's the booting part
I capture the logcat on it all so I hope to go through it tonight. It would be easy if HTC would just release HC on it already.

Awesome.. HC... WOW. Devs. all ya efforts shall not end up in vain. The dreams of flyer's owners shall come true. I guess is the beginning of a new Era making FLYER the Multi-tablet just like HTC HD2.

Wow! Can't wait... Puccini ROM ported over with ATT bloatware removed and rooted? Yes please!
To remove the bloatware isn't difficult.
But to port it is damn hard, because the puccini has another chipset than the flyer...
So far every time I download and open it it says its a corrupt zip.
I follow the flyer/express threads to check out whata foing on and see if there is anythong useful for my evo 4g express port. I can post a mirror of the puccini if ya'll want. Filefactory isnt the most stable to download from. I also have the system files deodexed, android kitchen 1.7 on my windows machine wont deodex it. Let me know. I wilk start it just in case

That is true, but it is close enough to not be a big deal. All apps will resized themselves except the HTC sense apps like messaging and dialer and mail...

Doedexing etc. is not important at the moment at all. We have to get it booting first. Otherwise you can't use a deodexed rom.

am a new photon owner coming from a htc hero. have had my mopho for a month I an unlocked rooted running cm7 and joker's 1.3 kernel and zep's v6 script and let me tell you this puppy flies my only issue is my internet on 3g guessing is the area I live in but its weak as hell.... other than that its a wonderful phone worth every penny

I'm using MIUI alpha ROM at the moment. A little buggy but still pretty smooth so far. Want to ask a question about it but can't because of the ten posts rule. Have been a member for over a year and have never had a reason to post anything till now.

mine is rooted but not unlocked I dealt with the custom roms on my og evo but I just wanted it rooted to get rid stock apps and hotspot.
I'm actually a little surprised with how comfortable I am with the stock software. With my Evo, once I learned about rooting, I rooted and flashed a new rom on that thing almost immidiately. Haven't found the need for it with this thing yet. Only thing I've changed was the boot screen.

Came from evo 3d,and before that og evo....and this is the better phone.only reason i rooted was because of bloat.that's it.what really make this phone for me is the dock accessories....i really feel that is the future if mobile computing! !

I am a big wuss so staying with the locked bootloader for now.
I am running Jokers4G locked rom with stock kernel. I like the minimilistic part of the Jokers rom I am very happy with the battery life in comparison.
Hmm, quick test CM9 rom indicates that the battery is discharged like on stock. So, the future of the CM9! Best rom 4 ever!

I spent about a week reading and re-reading the 1350+ posts on the [ROMS]12/24/2011 joker roms unlocked and locked(4g) thread and a few other other developers threads about rooting/unlocking/rsd/sbf/cwm/flashing roms and pretty much everything in the developers area. My thinking was read everything until I understood it, THEN start doing everything so I wouldn't screw up my phone and end up asking how to fix things. The reading paid off. My phone is rooted, had bootstrap, is now unlocked with CWM recovery, has been flashed to Skinnyrev2-test3.5, is overclocked and undervolted, and modded with 8-finger multitouch.
I went back to the dev forums to thank the devs for their hard work (especially Joker!) only to find that because I spent my time reading instead of posting, I wasn't allowed to post in the dev forums...
So...since this thread is specifically for that, I'll use it to get my post count up to 10. Even so, it will probably take a few days because I am naturally more of a lurker than poster.

I meant WE shouldn't be looking at this as a race, but rather as a WIN WIN situation.
But the last things are extremely hard to get working, I'm guessing they both get NFC pretty soon, then MAYBE cell data, but wifi and bluetooth are going to be near dang impossible without those drivers.
But seriously, just tried out X's new preview (v3) and man was it smooth! I can't wait for the whole shabang!

Yeah x's #3 was uber smooth, but maybe cm9 will come first, as for nfc, its like Bluetooth to me, I don't use it

Just needs bt, data, gsm, and something else... Not WiFi though... They have that I believe. They also got usb recognition for charging and adb working they other day.
There's another thread called "ics for the amaze" or "who will get cm first"... I don't remember... Clutter smh...

The one you missed is camera/camcorder
He has WiFi working but its with a messy hack.
Just deodexed the latest ICS ROM. Added root/busybox. Here is the link. Didnt test it yet but I made it with the Android Kitchen with the config file I made and updated su files.

It's the exact same as stock but deodexed and rooted. Nothing else. No tweaks. No optimizations.
It also allows users who want to modify it the way they want since it is completely stock. Devs can build off of it.

I just got a free Wildfire S from my friend for unlocking his BB Torch lol. The button for the power isn't there but I can use a pin/key to turn it on.

Can this be flashed using 4EXT or must it be renamed and flashed like any other stock ROM? (relocking bootloader, renaming file, etc)
Curious because I wanted to update to the "R2" version released by football..but might as well use this if it's already rooted and such, save a little time.
By the way, anyone know what the difference is between the latest ICS OTA and the "R2" version posted by football? (it wasn't posted in the Amaze forums, but it was posted on his filefactory account)
Kind if irritated that I even updated to ICS at all right now (used the OTA) because it seems to have totally borked WiFi calling (there's some kind of crazy delay that appears ~10 minutes into a phone call... other users getting the same thing). Really didn't want to S-OFF and revert to GB, though, so hoping this "R2" release fixed that
I'm your guy. Snagged a gnexus, so my Rezound is at you devs mercy. Its already rooted, s-off, new firmware. Or if a dev needs another Rezound, I may let it go for a good offer.
Oh yea, best way to reach me for test builds, etc: gtalk or google+: [email protected]. just give me a link and any special instructions. I'll run your rom through the ringer, I do need a crash course on logcats, ill search for a how-to. Thanks.
PS: I love extra features, or built in mods. The more i can customize, the better response you'll get on your builds.
