[Q] Sim Unlock - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys , i have a problem regarding my sim card.
Recently i bought a S II from France, it had French ICS, and i wanted to reove that french stuff.
I used ODin to install JellyBean .
After installing the Rom , the phone runes well but it doesn't accept the SIM, it requieres a PIN Unlock Code. When i write the PIN it says that it failed , i've tried other operators and tried to flash other ROMs but it's useless.
Can some1 advice me, what should i do?
My Operator : Moldcell ( Republic Of Moldova)

hi bro,
there is no quick fix for this... ur HD2 requires an unlock code which u can buy over ebay... u can read around various posts here to get some leads.. this can be a painless process and shld be over in a matter of hours..

Have you put another network's SIM card into a T-Mobile phone?
You'll need a subsidy PIN to unlock the phone. To obtain a subsidy PIN, or if you've entered an incorrect subsidy PIN, please call us on 0845 412 5000.

[I9100G] Network lock

Hello,
I received a Galaxy SII I9100G as a present last april in Morocco (I'm in France right now). They told me it was an "unlocked" phone (not bought from any operator).
The phone worked wonders with my SIM card (SFR, a french operator) from april until 2 days ago. It seems like it locked itself all of a sudden and asks me a code to unblock the network. That same SIM card worked well the same morning.
Anyone to explain what happened? I'm confused since I don't understand how it can lock itself without having to change the SIM card/flash/anything...
I called SFR and Samsung France to have the code, each one tells me to call the other.
I rooted my phone and used Galaxy S Unlock, it tells me that the phone is unlocked but after the reboot nothing happens. Tried also Galaxy S2 SIM Unlock, but it doesn't find the code.
I'm quite desperate right now since I'm waiting for some important calls this week and I tried everything, every tutorial but nothing seems to work.
I really don't know what to do to unblock it, I asked for help on many forums, spent yesterday looking for solutions but still nothing.
Please tell me there's a solution to this problem?
Thanks in advance for any help~
Samsung Galaxy SII I9100G
Version: 4.0.3 - I9100GXXLPN
PS: Actually, it does seem to work with a Meditel (moroccan operator) SIM card... Which I don't understand since it was supposed to be unlocked, hence why it worked with my SFT SIM card since april...
Hey i think some persons before you has coneckt it with a Samsung account and locked it now over the samsung dive webside. You can try to flash a new Firmeware to fix it
First, thanks for trying to help me.
I already flashed it with a new firmware (2.3.6 >> 4.0.3, always using official samsung), but still didn't work.
Unless should I go back to a previous firmware?
Any other idea please?

[Q] Galaxy S3 Network Unlock

Hello guys,
I've tried to cut it short.
I would try all day unlock my S3 sim lock, but its failed every times. I am new in android customization so I read all things what I found, mostly the best hopes in here. So, it was an sim unlocked Galaxy S3 when I bought it, with android 4.0.4, I would like to upgrade it to 4.1.2 stock rom but it was some custom rom so its wont went automatically, I used Odin to Flash it with the stock 4.1.2 what I found here but it has the sim lock, I was tried more 4 unlocked roms but its stayed sim locked, I try all methods what I found but nothing worked, now the default IMEI changed.
Is it possible to homemade sim unlock it for free ?
(sorry for my bad english)

[Q] Unlock Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini on O2 UK

Hi guys,
First of all, to say that I am reading on this topic for 3 days now with no success.
I have a Galaxy 3 Mini phone, locked to O2 UK.
I tried the *#197328640# code, but the phone just shows Not registered to a network, so I cannot proceed. I searched for this, but there are only a couple of results which are not directly related to this issue. I tried it both with an O2 SIM card and with an EE SIM card.
Do you have any idea how to unlock this little device myself?
All best!

S6 Edge SM-G925F , Abnormal Behavior

Hey Guys , I recently purchased an S6 edge G925F from my local market , in used condition , it came with Android 5.1 Lolipop but when i upgraded it to marshmallow , its GSM capability stopped , which means that it detected my local network but failed to register on my sim network , it would say " could not connect , try later" , G925F roms work completely except sim communication , and when i had this issue , i took it to my seller to repair it , and he refreshed it to lollipop again and said that dont upgrade to marshmallow , because it has GSM bugs etc , and i asked him about what happened and asked that whether it was locked or etc , he answered that my phone got locked (i dont know if its carrier or bootloader or baseband lock) but he said it got locked due to baseband change , My questions are :
Q1. is this a reconditioned phone that was previously some carrier phone that they converted it to G925F ?
Q2. Do locks (network , carrier , baseband , etc) exist for G925F which would produce GSM issues ? like i had ? sim works but fails to register on gsm network
I will be glad if anyone could help me out! (P.S IMEI remained intact , didnt get corrupt, despite no network capability , and i checked , in my country it isnt flagged stolen or etc)
