This may not help much, but when in doubt, do a hard reset. If that doesn't work, reflash your kdz.

I tried putting a different kdz - the result is the same ... even tried to put the firmware on the 760 and 765, the result - an inverted mirror screen ...
with kdz of 769 - screen is normal, but the touchscreen works like a mirror ...
maybe its a hardware problem..
Honestly I had the same problem the only thing you can do is get it replaced that's what I had to do as it did the same to me with kdz flashing on p769bkgo that's why I wait for rooting til true methods of root and other things are available so I don't make it a paperweight

You can try "Nook Screen Recalilbrate" from the market. It helped a little on my device.
In /sys/devices/platform/omapdss/display0 I found something interesting. There is file named mirror. It is for as is named for mirroring screen. But I don't know how to change it.
Looks like hardware problem, may be I am wrong. But in such case, I would flash the official latest unrooted KDZ and send to service center.

Same here its horible when im texting or just like this talking....
hope we can get better responsive screen with some hack.... because this aint cool nee to press hard on the screen to be sure it writes my lettres!!.....
Can be cheap phone bur they where realy cheap on touchscreen..... could have put someting better on it....

my P765 have the issue too. i had sometime to tap twice when on texting, dial pad and calculator... even after i update it to v10e there is no fix on this....LOL

I'm having the same problem but in my case i think it was caused by omap4 because before it ever happened omap fastboot would fastboot my phone with a backwards fastboot screen ive flashed v11a didn't do any good and ive flashed back to v10e multiple times im still trying to figure it out its not a hardware failure, something got altered ill keep poking around.

P769 won't get custom roms for a little while. We are still waiting on the jelly bean/bootloader unlock update, that came out in europe. I speculate that we will have all the custom roms that are available on p760 in about 1-2 months but there is no way to know for sure. But still a solid phone for the price (I got mine as a free upgrade when I renewed my contract) and the prepaid is $200 I believe.

People need very small procedures and quick solutions. The length of the guide could be the problem. They simply dont read it fully. I think the guide looks lengthy but the flashing and rooting is very simple and quick.
Sometimes they dont even explain what are problems.

Yes the guide is long but all u need to do is read fully thru a few times then follow instructions exactly as they are typed skipping nothing. I tried root one night and i was under the influence it took me so many tries i gave up but i sobered up read thru the guide again did it step by step and successfully rooted my phone. Ppl have to make sure they change their host files and reboot otherwise ur gonna get that lg server maintenance error which is what had me stuck until i changed my hosts file correctly

EDIT: Debunk, it wasn't KitKat, just one guy (me) who was a little too excited and one guy (my friend) who thought he was sure it was KitKat, but it wasn't.

Can't you get into recovery (I mean the stock one)? Maybe a Hard Reset would get you out of bootloop.
Also, could you please check out for us the kdz thingy faxe78 mentioned?
I'm. In D82010a and I never got any OTA at all. Rooted too

Yeah, just tried the hard reset and it worked. Weird.
Will be taking the dive in a moment, stand by.
Edit: Fail on my and my friends part. We received some other 4.3 update. I never saw a version number, but he pulled it and claimed it was 4.4.2. It was not.
I apologize that I let his, apparent, poor knowledge of Android give us false hope. Sigh.

Odds are you won't be able to unlock unless someone creates a new method.
Alright, once i have been unlocking bootloader on p760 and i was succesful from first try. But i did this after i've reflashed kdz threw lg support tool, because i,ve got security alert. I wanted to flash cyanogen mod, and after flashing, i've got security alert. so i reflashed kdz with support tool and after that i succesful unlocked bootloader by adb unlock. so i'm wondering.. maybe we need first to get security error, when fix it and after that try to unlcok? anyone, who got unlocked, have you ever got security error before?
First, and most important one, is it wourth buying (I can get one for 300 Euros)?

Second, I saw that it got rooted, here, but what about a custom recovery? Is anyone working on it?

With knock on feature its not a big problem

It should be natively supported in the ringtone or alert options. all my phones besides the sola and v9 didn't have leds, the rest all beeped at a set time till the message/miss call/calendar alert was opened.
Just saying that it should have that option natively.

in germany the g2 mini has a notification led in the rear power button
After playing around on the device for a few days, I haven't found a reminder system. Abit disappointing.

I don't know how the D625 but my speakerphone works OK, no problems with it, I'm using D620r.
My wife have problems with hearing and when she is using my G mini, she have no problems with it(normally she is using hearing aid).
Don't know what do you mean by saying directly form SD, I'm using gmail app for sending pictures, and have no problem with it.

There is a huge chance that your phone could break so I'm really looking for somebody who is either under warranty or doesn't care about their v10 because they have a new phone. It's a tot that will give you TWRP to then root. But there is not guarantee this will work

Are you still in need of testing? I just got this V10 from Verizon as replacement for my 1st V10 bootlooping. Soooo I've got 90 days full warranty plus tmp if needed.

I've no spare phones but not having root on the same phone I had root on is driving me a little insane. Factor in the possible bootloader unlock and it's potential and I don't care if I have to use a 15 dollar flip phone for awhile.
I'm just unaware of the testing situation. If its needed yet or not and if so if it's ready for testing???

I've no spare phones but not having root on the same phone I had root on is driving me a little insane. Factor in the possible bootloader unlock and it's potential and I don't care if I have to use a 15 dollar flip phone for awhile.
I'm just unaware of the testing situation. If its needed yet or not and if so if it's ready for testing???

it's not done yet! It should be in the next few days and idk what i'm going to be getting first. We are doing two different theroies
I'm in for testing if you need more : ), this phone will be awesome with stock android.
