I am using galaxy s3 JB 4.1.2 stock rooted firmware with CWM recovery

My question is i wanted to flash some mods onto my fone but then i realised that my build number is XXELLB and almost all mods or patches arent made for this build number their mainly for XELLA XELLC XELL5 etc...
So i was wondering can i use any of the other versions mods on my model safely wothout it causijg problems?? Of so wich one is the best version to use that wont crash my fone

I did that but rhe thing is its very tome consuming incase ot dosent work n i hv to restore each time
I just need to know if anyone has any idea wich is thw ckosest to ELLB that i can ise that will work most of the time so i dnt hv to restore my fone every time i install sumthing

Use 2nas Android Flash Tools, it will be easy.

Your best bet it is to update your Rom to a recent one, then you know that the mods are compatible, it's really very easy to flash with Odin, and full instructions can be found in the rollup sticky in general

My software is already the latest for my region and the thing is i dont want to change the region bcuz o have some software and carrier specifoc programs i dont want to loose and for warranty issues as well

I search these forums regularly for anything relating to my lg-p509 (also p500) and this is the first post I've seen about cm7 nightlies, So thanks, I also searched the general forum after reading the complaints to your post and turned up nada for "lg-p500 cm7 nightly". Post back after you flash it to let us know how it's working please.

Obviously
I have flashed hundreds of ROMS.. I know where people can go wrong while flashing ROMS
And I don't think I did something silly because I got soft brick twice.

If you're into 2.2 try AtiFroyo. It's pretty decent but there's plenty of GB roms that are pretty much flawless.
I tried it using both XRecovery and CWM.
Anyways ,I am back to GDX

Weird.
It could be that you have a corrupted file(s). Have you tried downloading the files again?
Also, from where are you downloading the files? If you're downloading using your phone, you might want to try downloading using a PC.
As you might have noticed, this thread had 7 posts only in over a year.. That alone should let you know the quality of the rom.
Try FroyoPro. It's bug-free.

Dude, relax. We only said that you can't use other's work without permission. But you can make your own aokp rom by modifying the official aokp rom that's made for our phone. Aokp and Cyanogenmod devs don't mind if somebody uses their work as base, provided that the rom devs keep their names (aokp and cm devs) in credits. You can make your own rom based on one of them or also miui. But not based off somebody else's work who doesn't allow you to.
This rom was made off somebody else's rom and that's why you should remove the download links. It's considered stealing like we all mentioned before. You're new here, I can see that. Mistakes happen from all of us. Just relax and make sure this doesn't happen again.

Hi Guys, as requested by some of you ,this is a rooted rom for the i8190L Only!
DO NOT INSTALL THIS IN THE i8190 or the i8190N !
This rom is only for latin based [i8190L] device.
To minimize problems the rom only includes the system partition, this way your kernel etc dont get messed if anything goes wrong.
I recomend that you get your original rom before flashing just in case.
check for your original rom HERE

I just ported the rom to my device there is no new features apart from the nfc control panel settings and Sbeam.
So it does have NFC then.

yup:good: and as i suspected the system image is cross comparability with all variants, modem is not compatible neither is the boot image.
So it's no good having a rooted Rom of this firmware then is it faria.

From what i can see not really, its pretty much the same build ,2 days apart.Plus there is a bunch of carrier **** being installed from the the cache partition witch we need in there for recovery/reset purposes.
If any one want i can upload the ported rom for the GT-I8190.

No ISP trash, I tried today on my S3 i8190L and works perfect but no root because is stock.
But if anyone knows how to root it would be really appreciated!

I assume this is a rooted device? If not, try rooting and install a custom rom. If so, try a different rom temporarily just to see if it still occurs. Any more questions feel free to PM me. Good luck.

Sorry for the late response, download rom manager from the play store > open the app > it will say like flash recovery or something (should be at the very top) and then find your device. after this go to download rom within the app and there ya go PM me for more info you wish! Good luck

i also have same tablet and i installed some roms on it booted well but some issues
are there like touchscreen gsensor patches also there to fix it ........first things first backup your stock rom using cmw recovery or livesuite
