I605VRALL4 Multi-view? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

I am running the VRALL4 Stock Rooted and De-Odex'ed rom from Scrosler. So far, its a great rom, I haven't really had any problems with it. Except I cannot figure out how to enable all apps in multi-view with a De-Odex'ed rom. I absolutely love this feature and would really like to get it back. Is there any way to do that on this rom? Or am I going to be forced into a different rom?

I dont think that rom have that mod. Check out this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2028535 some people said it works after the ota.

Look in your app drawer for 'MCW'. I believe that's what it is called. Blue circle icon.

I tried this. It seems that because the rom is De-odex'ed, this doesnt work. There is nothing to replace when I copy the files to their appropriate folders because all .odex files have been removed.
@1ManWolfePack
I did not find this app installed on the rom. I went and found it here on XDA. I tried installing just the app, it seems to function however, the apps in the multi-view bar are not changed at all. I also tried flashing the framework files..... that resulted in a bootloop and I had to restore to before I flashed the framework file.
Thank you guys for helping me! Any other suggestions that I could try?

Check cleanrom verizon edition. Im running it and it have the multi view mod. It works perfect on my device.

Sorry about the boot loop. This will give you that app and unlock the multi view tab, but you'll be transparent:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2116579
Dirty flash your rom afterwards to lose the transparency but retain features. I believe that's how I did it. Lol.

Mmmmm.... so far, that doesn't seem to work either. Crashes the flashbar service every time I try to open it. But I don't have much time to play with it right this second. I will give it another shot later, and if it doesn't work... idk, ill probably go and flash beans rom or clean rom.

Weird. I thought you were already on CleanROM?

I played around with the transparent mod again, still nothing. It just keeps crashing the flashbar service every time I try and open it. I guess I'm going to just either flash Beans or Clean rom or go back to stock and start all over. Thanks for your help guys!

Look in Scott's "Recently Archived Builds" link on his website. You can get the 1.0 SE there. Doubt there is further support since he archived it but really... anything that is missing in the Vzw 1.0 light can be found elsewhere. At least this way you have an option to have it or not.
Also, that is the LJB build, the new one is based of the new OTA, LL4, and new bootloader. I have the new bootloader and won't trust mixing the two.

So how can i edit the build prop if it doesn't seem to save it? I'm on this kernel and i think system is still not writing. Anyone got this working?? Please do tell us how?

I just changed it to Galaxy Nexus by using Root Explorer and it worked correctly.
Be sure you are on the latest kernel, as it is the only one that allows writing to /system while booted into android.

I can confirm that editing build prop does work and stick on reboot. Was able to make photosphere stop working and start working again as a test.
You may have to reboot one more time. After installing it I updated superuser and it had a read/write error. After rebooting it is fine.
And once again my phone hates any kernel that's out beside stock. I wonder what's the problem that my phone hasn't been able to run without freezing and rebooting

[MOD] disable/enable capacitive buttons

very simple mod very simple op
*** THIS IS FOR THE CAP BUTTONS - Menu - Home - Back - Search - not for nav bar ***
since the new cm rebase kernel was pushed some things have changed.
my old enable/disable no longer works on the new rebase so here is the new zips
should work on all cm/aosp based 4.2.2 and 4.3 roms
disable: http://www.blownco.com/index.php/doc_download/13402-disable-capacitive-buttons-new-jd81
enable: http://www.blownco.com/index.php/doc_download/13403-enable-capacitive-buttons-new-jd81
for 4.1.2 roms use
disable: http://www.blownco.com/index.php/doc_download/639-disable-capacitive-buttons-jd81-zip
enable: http://www.blownco.com/index.php/doc_download/640-enable-capacitive-buttons-jd81-zip
just flash in recovery and reboot *put both zip's on your phone* flash disable and reboot, if you dont like it then flash enable and go on with your day
if this zip doesnt work for you *ie buttons still work after reboot* well then you dont have the proper rom,
either go on with your day or
-open a file manager
-go to /system/usr/keylayout
-delete the file sec_touchkey.kl
-reboot and go on with your day
Nice! Thanks Jamie, will definitely come in handy for me Pie/Nav bar addition!

Thought I'd share this for anyone who wants to disable the capacitive button lights. Credit goes to the original post I found at..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2210765
To turn off capacitive button lights:
1. Download a file manager with root access. I used Root Browser.
2. Go to system/lib/hw
3. Find the file named 'lights.msm8660.so'
4. Rename it to anything such as "lights.msm8660.so.old"
5. Reboot.

***Updated*** Ink Effect 18 Colors for AT&T AMDL Deodexed

I started to work on the ink effect for the S4...
Requirements: you must be on the latest version which is "AMDL" and deodexed and have the latest recovery installed..
I have tested this on two different devices both running P-ROM.. One unit normal kernal and the other running ktoonsez kernel.
Now with 18 color choices and I fixed the menu layout as well...
It's compatible with Nottach's Xposed as well.. If you are running any other customs rom this could break some features that are in that rom...
Installing this will also give you the long press menu to kill function and 4way reboot...
I will be improving on some of the colors in the next update ex: making pink a little darker and pinker...
I will also be looking at the ink flow to see if I can increase it...
Install using your favorite recovery and as always make sure you backup your system before installing...
Have fun!!!!
On initial boot if your lock screen is black just swipe it to unlock and you are good to go.
Ink 18 Colors For S4
Not responsible for bricked units.. Follow the directions and you will be good to go.

Just flashed this on my AT&T S4. After flashing I cleared Dalvik cache and cache. Rebooted and immediately had an error message saying "Unofrtunately the process TouchWiz Home has stopped working). I then proceeded to turn on the ink effect but every time I selected something in settings, I would get the same error message about TouchWiz Home not working. Good thing I made a backup before installing!
Really hoping the bugs get worked out as I miss this mod from my GS3. Adding the water drip sounds for lock and unlock would go nicely with this
BTW, I'm on Nottach's P-ROM with stock kernel.

I installed jelly bomb last night and everything works super amazing! Thank you josh beach!! I just have one problem, when I turn my phone off then back on I get a little message on top saying "kernel is not seandroid enforcing", "set warranty bit: kernel". I just would like to know if that's normal? If not, what can I do to fix this? It's my first android phone so an explanation in depth would be preferred please. Thanks

If you're not satisfied with the look and feel, want some more customization, then make sure to set up Xposed Installer and Wanam Xposed.
(From a post I made in the JellyBomb thread)
Learning how to use the Xposed Installer and Wanam Exposed is essential in customizing JellyBomb Domination, once set up all sorts of customization options become available.
For anyone who wants to change the look and feel of, for example; Notifications Panel "background" or add a "Call Recording button" to the Phone app...
1. Run your Xposed Installer, select Framework and Install/Update. Reboot.
2. Ensure that Wanam Xposed is checked in the Xposed Installer "Modules" tab.
3. Run Wanam Xposed and start customizing!
There are all sorts of Xposed modules available for download if you need something Wanam Xposed doesn't offer.
The Battery Icon can be customized several ways with these Mods, as well as through options available in Wanam Xposed.
Exposed is the shizz mos def
Also I have that same message on my phone and I don't believe it is a problem
