This rom is for the HTC Mytouch 3G Slide
What works:
Wifi, Bluetooth, gps
camera
mounting
apps 2 sd SHOULD WORK
wifi tether works but you have to install the apk on your own.
keyboard lights work, the way to make them work is put the power widget on your home screen and while the keyboard is slide out press the brightness button lights will work untill the screen gose off then you have to do it over again, fix soon hopefully but for now #BLAMEWES
What doesn't work:
the stock live wall papers FC but ones downloaded from the market work fine.
There is no boot screen so you will just see a black screen
To do:
Fix boot screen
Fix the keyboard lights so they always are on
Extras:
linpack was around a 3.00
all the .apks are zipaligned for extra fast speeds
Download the newest nonsense V1.4
Download the newest blue themed rom nonsense V1.4 blue.

Its real nice just as good as CM 5.0.8,im still testin it.Definetly worth a flash.
Got 3D Galery working.
can we see some screen shots..at work and dont wanna flash this yet but would love to see what it looks like
Anyone possibly wanna post some screen shots? I'm sticking with SlideMR1 for now because it's been working amazingly, but I'd like to see some screenshots just so I know if I'm interested in flashing. Thanks guys!

If you on SlideMr1 flash it don't even think about it.It comes down to your preference,its a tie between CM and Teamslide.These 2 roms are the best ones and there is nothing that comes even close.
Back up on Nandroid,so if you don't like it,do Nandroid restore and it will restore your phone to condition when you backed it up(settings,apps and all is restored),takes about a minute,and you have nothing to loose.
will this rom work if i have an ext2 partition? i dont think there is an option to upgrade in clockwork mod

NICE Rom very smooth very stable not one FC (well maybe a couple in 3D gallery deep in my picasa albums looking at big albums with 15 megapixel pics)

i hav ext 2 but for some reason apps not showing up w this rom.on all other roms that i flashed my sd apps would show up automatically.also switched off auto bright and kb lights still dont wrk.Other than those 2 issues its a great rom

You can just install the apk, i tryed to put it in but was getting FCS out the but!
well i tried this rom out and not bad. i had a couple FC's when it first booted but it hasnt happened since. The only issue i have so far I have reformatted the EXT to EXT3 as this is what the post stated would only work for this rom i had EXT2 previously which worked on other roms i used. Even with the EXT3 and wiping and reinstalling im not sure that the apps2SD actually worked. after install apps my memory has dropped to about 45MB.
I love this Rom. It makes the phone fast and I did kinda miss stock android. Will you guys be adding the option where u press the trackpad and it makes the wake up. Other than absolutely love the Rom. Thanks guys.

after the new update [2.1.1.A] many people have been complaining about the themes not working...

which ones do you exactly want buddy? I don't think there is any difference between Gingerbread and Blacktheme?
or do you want the stock theme to be mo[d]e[d]
Gingerbread V3 (Gingerbread theme with ANIMATION & BATTERY PERCENTAGE)
There are differences between the two themes, yours is not totally black, got background and much smoother while this black themes I can feel lag a bit especially when scrolling the settings menu, phonebook list, etc..

ah well lets see what can we do in here... but I probably wont test it on my phone nowadays am not testing things anymore for 2reasons
1. I know 99.9% things should work
2. I've had my phone rebooted for testing mods about more than 500times now

Yup, it's working, able to boot up.
However, few things need to fix:
When charging, the battery animation is only up to orange colour as shown in screenshot.
The animation is not working
The rest is ok

Ok, no other animations, good job, the battery percentage is working fine now
Left the animation version to fix but not that important, can solve it slowly.

I replaced the battery icons (0 to 100) and re-signed,then replace the original one
but cant log in desktop
just "sony ericsson"(i changed my x8 bootanimation "XPERIA") appeared then reboot

Modified version of AsusDayScene.apk v2.
Works for custom ROMs. You will not have the black background problem.
Extract the rar. Install like a normal app.(I had to rar because of the 8mb attachment limit)
Edit: Added Asus Weather widget for those who might need it on their custom ROM. The black bar behind forecast is removed. Install like a normal app.

Both run very nice on a HP Touchpad
Weather works fine on Xoom
AsusDayScene works fine on Xoom but runs very badly for some reason

Change it while in portrait mode and you will see an option to save. After you save, hit refresh and you should be good to go

I noticed that the boot animation was too slow. and shutdown too fast on the SM-G900F. modify to your taste, without overdoing it. edit build.prop as its

boot.fps=18
# shutdown animation fps
shutdown.fps=15
made it as my screenshot.

this was done, but it is well to recall here for nothing

could someone be so kind and help me testing a boot animation I made myself?
My phone is unrootable (Conquest S6) and I can't test it myself, plus a test on more phones would be better.
I used some boot preview apps but it's not the same than testing on a real phone.
What I need to know is:
- if you don't get any errors while installing it
- if the animation is fluid and high resolution
- if it stops when the boot process is complete or it continues until the end of the animation
- if you can hear the audio (and if yes, if you can hear it only the first time, or also in the following loops) and if the audio fades out when the animation fades out
- if the video fits perfectly the screen size or it's cut/deformed

So, I have re-coded the animation, stolen a Sony Z1 from a friend, rooted it and installed the animation. And it works perfectly (yesss!)
I have updated the link in the main post. If someone wants to try it and tell me how it works on his phone it would be very appreciated ?
