We would be thankful if you tell us what ROM you want.
You wanna go stock, you are already on stock jb.
You want ICS? GB? JB leak? ....Froyo?
Ok, ICS it is.
And yeah, you'll lose root once you flash it as long as you don't flash with mobile odin pro.

I want jb 4.1.2

Why don't you want jb 4.2.1? Check the original android section. There's a few good ones..

And will I flash it just from my phone's recovery mode,if not tell me how step by step please and thanks.

As per the first page of this thread, get a stock rom from Samfirmware & flash it with Odin (download mode); Guides. Or, if you search the General section (or do a Google search with XDA appended to your search terms; I do not have a link so don't ask) there is a thread in there somewhere with CWM flashable stock roms. But if you want to get the phone back to a similar state to when you bought it, do an Odin flash.
Nobody's going to regurgitate step by step instructions especially for you given it's been done thousands of times before in other threads. As a wise man on here says in his signature 'n00b OK, lazy n00b not OK'.

if u want a custom ICS rom then the same can be flashed with CWM.
but if its a stock ICS firmware then u have to do it with ODIN since the same (stock ICS) cannot be flashed thro CWM

hey bro,
Sorry I couldn't reply your PM.
1. It's very easy to go back to ICS
2. It can be done via CWM recovery but you will need a custom stock based ICS ROM,
Check Android development section, once you find the one you like, let me know.
I'll post the instructions about flashing it.

This is the easy, wrong way. Search for yourself, all the info is allready out here on xda.
Edit: you should know this as you're here on xda for a long time.

flash siyah kernal via ODIN (or any kernal you like), then you can flash any custom rom you like via CWM recovery. The rom you wanna flash depends on what your looking for.
Ok.
Thx

You can flash siyah 4.1.5 from gokhanmoral. Com for galaxy s2
Then you are rooted. You will get CWM 6.0.
Then from recovery take back up of your current stock rom.
And flash any ICS Based custom rom.
Do these steps then in future you want to try JB custom rom then let me know

Wow, I'm amazed that you actually asked this question.
Seriously dude, learn what sticky threads and search button are before attempting to flash a device.

Download stock rom of your choice from sammobile and use Odin v3.07 to flash..
You can find some guides around here how to flash via Odin.
And, next time either use the Q/A section or the OFF-TOPIC Thread.
Cheers, I was using the wrong Odin!

Yes and you need a proper recovery. I suggest you a dorimanx, but watch out for the right version. The 9.xx is for cm, aokp... and the 8.xx is for stock sammy so download the right one.

Dorimanx is an XDA dev who works on a i9100 kernel, named after himself. I absolutely love this kernel. It's stable, highly customisable and often updated. Search XDA for it and you shall find.
So you want stock, as evidenced below:

Fish finger (hahaha) all you want is to update to the latest Samsung official firmware right? If so, forget what kona said, you don't need a recovery at all. All you need to do is to flash a stock ROM via Odin, with your phone in download mode. Where to get the ROM? Search on Samfirmware.com for a stock ROM for your country, region & carrier. Then, to flash in Odin, you can click the link in my signature and find a handy link to a tutorial from there.

Why you don't update to 4.3? I has been reading the forum and i think that it's better to the phone be updated.

Go read the sticky thread in general forum, you are missing most basic knowledge.
As above, updating to latest stock rom is recommended. 4.0 will kill the phone memory.
Don't ask for rom recommendation.
