Former one x owners (Q) - HTC One X+

I have seen on a few occasions that people say the screen on the one x+ isnt the same screen on the original one x, and that is not as good.
Can anyone confirm this? I have a one x, and a nexus 4, and was possibly thinking about trading the nexus to upgrade to the one x+, but the number one thing I like about the one x is the screen.

Same screen

Hope it helps you decide...

I put both side by side and to me (with power saver off) the onex+ screen seemed just as bright if not brighter, I thinks it's a nicer screen than my one xl

I think the one x+ has a better screen. Colors are more vivid which I like.

One xl size vs one x+ size

Hey guys and gals. I'm from over in the one xl forums I'm wondering if the one x+ is the same size as my device or international one x? Any helped will be appreciated thank u!
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda premium
yes they are both the same
Lol um witch are the same?
1.One xl ( at&t) and one x + or
2.one x ( international) and one x +

Do you mean size as in the dimensions of the device or as in storage capacity? The dimensions of the device are almost identical to that of the international one x and it comes in 32gb and 64gb.

Actual size lol, the reason I ask is because the one xl from at&t is a diff. Size than the international version ( one is longer than the other by a couple mm.) Which makes a big difference when buying accessories

Josh, the AT&T X & X+ are almost the exact same size. The X+ feels a tad thicker to me, but my cases still fit it. Just a little more snug.

One X+ or the Butterfly

Two behemoths
Would anyone share their personal experiences?
Which one to go for based on performance , battery life etc etc

Here is a review from one of OneX+ users, it's pretty detailed too

The only reason I would get the HOX is because it's available right now. If you can wait and want the latest and greatest then get the butterfly.
Sent from my HTC EVARE_UL using Tapatalk 2
HOX+ is great with some customization it may be the best smartphone now available with an average battery life for completing the day with lots of calls and playing
The butterfly is like the HOX+ amazing specs and performance but you might be a bit worried from its battery
Sent from my ONE X+ using XDA premium
specs almost the same, the only spec i like in the butterfly over HOX+ is the 2GB ram and expandable
The butterfly have seem hardware nexus 4 cpu quad core 1.5 krait with adreno 320 better performance...the battery best onex+
i was out in the malls few days ago and decided to check if they have the butterfly available already. i was pretty scared that time since i just got my hox+ 2weeks ago and i might like it and it cost the same. well they did have it already and the screen is big its longer like the S3. them being good sales people they hand me one to play around. fortunately i did, its not as comfortable as the HOX+. the back is glossy so its a bit slippery and the back is rounded.
the screen for me is too big. and i dont like the feel of it in my hand plus they only have the red version.. but yeah the 2gb ram is nice.

HTC J Butterfly from Japan is simply called HTC Droid DNA in North America.

Screen Cracked

Hey fellow HTC ONE X + users!
so I cracked the screen on my phone but I can still use it. I have the ATT version of the phone. I took it to a cell phone repair place but they said the two One X screens they ordered did not work. My guess is that they bought the international version. Does any know of a compatible one X screen that I can buy for the X +? So far I've had no luck. I don't want to take it to HTC bc repair costs can be really expensive. Thanks!
No one has ever confirmed that a one X screen will work on a one X +. Many suggest it will but no one has confirmed it. HTC will charge 200 to repair. I've already paid it once...

Possible HTC One phablet?

Saw this from Pocket now. Found it pretty interesting so I thought to share.
Coming from a note 2 to the One was a bit on an adjustment but I might like a One with a 5.3" screen or so.

Lol and I just got used to this size coming from a Note...

its upto you which one you like, I would personally prefer HTC one, but again there are several pros & cons of each, before buying a HTC just get one thing straight, this company has a bad reputation when it comes to software updates, HTC always stop providing support to their handsets before expected, for eg. HTC one s was recently ditched, many others back in history were treated just same way, ...
one more thing, I was in a mobile store the other day checking several devices, I found neither of S4 or One as attractive as they are presented over internet, there was only handset which caught my eye-HTC butterfly, real piece of beauty, & upcoming Butterfly S looks even more deadly, so I would suggest you to go to store yourself & check them personally rather than buying online...
Lol, this is the Desire X forum, who cares.

your better off asking this and looking in the appropriate ONE or S4 forum
I would definitely go for the galaxy s4, if I needed to decide between those two. Personally, I would prefer a current flagship phone from Sony.

I'd go for the One. Both my brothers have one, and they love it. I gave it a shot and it's AMAZING.

HTC One +1
Its better than S4. Just look at the benchmark tests. (not the 8core version, anyway who need 8core, my laptop has 4)
Sent from my HTC Desire X using xda app-developers app
S4 any day. HTC just sucks. Although the HTC One is very good looking and has a good build quality, I'd say the S4 if you plan on using the phone for more then 1 year.
THX guys for all of your valuable suggestions.

HTC One has perfect quality, Samsung working with plastic so if u want quality u need to buy One or Butterfly S.
