Hi i lost my older phone Galaxy R and i really wanna buy this. I want to know is this phone capable of running every high end games out there
please tell me how many games working in this list below
Street Fighter 4 (working with white BG ?)
Emulation (tekken 3, metal slug series ) via mame4droid
if any of you guys played these games on this please let me know.
i have checked in you tube found some videos and every game is running perfectly
but i don't know about street fighter 4 does it work ?

It have same CPU & GPU combination with Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, which I'm owned and have played NFS Most Wanted & Modern Warfare with it. I find it quite smooth. But for best experience in mobile gaming IMHO, I recommended you step up and use smartphone with beefy GPU like Nexus 4.

Not that bad of a price difference, $199 on a $60 prepaid plan making it $259.99 vs base model Nexus 4 @ $299.99
If your really looking to game, do nexus 7
Amazing high quality graphics and highly smooth play of Temple Run 2 on P765. My son quietly takes my phone when I am at something else and starts playing. Its kind of addiction due to smooth play.

The best free high end game is Dead Trigger, you can find it on play store.
little query nova 3 is supported or not i have found some videos of asphalt 7 playing in this but it seems kinda laggy why is that ?

Nova 3 is not supported, mainly because apparently it requires 4.1 or higher Android (at least thats what i figured out, since it says "your device is not supported" on all 4.0 Android devices.

After many failed attempts with a lot of APKs, I bought NOVA 3 from Play Store for my P768 and it works great! But I use 4.1.2.

its not compatible with galaxy s2 yet...
gameloft fully compatible games are those included as trials on the games hub

No, it's because of the GPU not the processor. The games will only work when the developers decide to make them work with the Mali-400 (the GPU the S2 has). Could be quite a wait.......
Alas a lot of games will do this to us since we use a relatively new graphics encoder. Don't blame Samsung though as Mali-400 (encoder) is completely OpenGL compliant. Unfortunately developers haven't bothered to code these games yet in a readable manner for our GPUs.
This kinda sucks since games like Riptide GP won't work even with the use of Chainfire 3D. Which is a great shame since the previous Galaxy S does...
It's because the developers are not coding it using industry standard OpenGL. Instead they use Nvidia or PowerVR optimisations which are proprietry and not supported by the Mali GPU (of course it won't because only the self-branded GPUs would support them). Developers need to start using industry standards.
I expect the Gameloft games will be ported relatively quickly, Modern Combat 2 HD can already be purchased from the Android Market for the SGSII, so give it some time.

Not actually interested in this Modern Combat 2 HD because I think FPS games suck on phones but I went and bought it now for my Galaxy if these sales will make Gameloft more interested to make games for our phone.
Would like to see Samurai 2 on my screen but apparently it doesn't work yet? At least if I try to find it in the market, I get an error message that couldn't be found.

its compatible with our phone . it just doesnt run on gingerbread . its for froyo . it doesnt run on gingerbread even on the galaxy s
Samurai 2 works perfectly for me.
I will try Nova 2 HD, but Nova already works perfectly.
Nova 2 works on my galaxy s2 without chainfire but it takes too much time to load up though gameplay is without lag
also the phone gets really hot while playing it

yeah... same like me. Nova 1 finish playing it. Nova 2 i think already reach half of the game. Only problem is when loading to play take 3/4 minutes to play... The games was superbbb.. fantastic...

i had one version that didnt and i have one that does so i think there must be 2 versions

I installed a version of NOVA 2 on my streak and while it does run, it does so very poorly with missing graphics and often freezes up or lags to the point of being un-playable. Has anyone else had any luck gettting this to run properly? and if so, what version of the game are you using?
I'm using Streakdroid 1.9 with perfmod and OC'ed to 1.19 ghz
All I know is this that gameloft and several other games face issues on DJ steve kernel...

Just played Galaxy on Fire 2 on my Galaxy Tab which as no Tegra2. The lack of a Tegra2 chip was putting me off getting an Xperia Play, but may get one now.
People have been using chainfire for some time, to.play tegra and powervr based games

i can confirm a handfull of THD games work on the play using chainfire, alot still dont work though or crash on loading, most powervr games work well aswell
I played samarua vengeance 2 with chainfire when it was tegra 2 exclusive. I hate this competition between these companies... Why make anything exclusive

That being said I couldn't run riptide properly. But there are reports of the galaxy on fire game working properly. There's enough games to keep you busy without playing tegra games though.

What gaming problem of 4.2.2? It would help matters if you was more specific.
Heavy 3d games like real racing 3 is poor on most to all custom ROMs.

That is more due to the hardware limitations of the SGS2.
Dont forget this device is well over 2 years old now.
New games are build for the newer devices.
Anyway you can give 4.2.2 a try, it will run all the games but some of them will still be laggy.

this isnt true i can play dungeon hunter 4 on stock based roms even heavy 3d games run f9 on my s2

Anyone playing this on a 10.1 2014? Reviews at various sites make it look good. User reviews leave a bit to be desired. That often means those that try to run fast action games on an inferior or older machine and just give it a bad review. Just trying to figure out if I want to give it a try. It has been many years since I had it on a PC. Loved GTA 4.

It works fine and runs great but there is a trick you have to do to get it to play on some of the p600 galaxys.
Look here for how to get it to work just in case it crashes when loading.I have to do it to play on my p600
