How To Modify Stock ICS for Xperia Sola - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hy guy's, and just sorry for my bad english. i hope you understand me.
There is a method to modify a stock ICS in xperia sola?
I love the original rom for xperia sola,
but I would like to delete programs and files that I do not need to ease up the rom.
there is a list of files that should not be deleted for the correct operation?
my intention was to modify the original, with:
- Insert BE2
- Walkmann and album xperia v
- Bootloader xperia t
- Cybershot 4.7.2
if I wanted to understand:
- Improve battery management
- Improve the management of the ram
- Improve the GPS signal
if lighten the system from unnecessary applications and gate files that do not interest me, I can already increase the performance of the rom? opure do I have to install the rom on the site (pure-blood, thebrainrom, .......)
thanks

No just install cwm
Nd use these mods which u can find on theme section

which phone do you have? Because if you mean for "theme" a file for Themechooser (.apk) in this forum there are some different, that works welll (you can have icons, menù, appearance like xperia S style) and works with minicm7.
I have used this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1652113
the only bug is if you installed only the theme apk (like I'm) that on AlarmClock visualization disappear some part of visualization. This is the only bug that I have found.
I hope that helps.
Check this out! Its Xperia S theme. Not fully compatible to U20i LDPI yet but you can still check it out (subscribe the thread for updates)

Anyone interested in continuing my rom development?

Hello everyone.
I have made a Rom for Xperia Mini ST15i called as Xperia Nexus. I have named it as Nexus because I have used trebuchet as the launcher and my rom has the smoothness of Nexus phones
I have got a Xperia S for myself and hence I will be leaving this forum. I will need to port my rom to all other MDPI too. So, my question is that would anyone be interested in continuing developing my rom? If you are interested, please pm me and I will bring you up to speed with the Rom info.
Some features :-
1. Unlimited Boost V6
2. ThilianaC's Walkman Player with gracenote working for unlocked bootloader.
3. Some build.prop tweaks.
4. Buttery smooth trebuchet launcher from CM9.
5. Very light and completely debloated.
6. Official Adreno ICS Libs by Jobayer for best 3D performance. ( Even better than the JB libs)
7. Serajr's SystemUI.apk
8. Busyboxed and pre-rooted with latest Superuser app and binaries.
9. Quadrant score of 1525 with kernel panic and stock frequencies.
10. Everything else is stock. No theming at all except the launcher so that performance is maxed out.:laugh:
11. Around 200mb of free ram.
Thanking you,
abcdjdj.

[Q] Rom for Xperia U (LB)

hi all, I'm new in this forum (but not in modding devices). I'm looking for a rom for my Xperia U. It is unbranded but with a locked bootloader (Root status = No). Please, I need as an opinion: wich is the best rom to fit this conditions?
- For locked bootloader
- Sony styled (something like stock look)
- Almost all bloatware removed (less than 3 pages in the app drawer)
- Mods and tweaks applied
Any help will be apreciated. Thanks in advance .
EDIT: I've already check the development index, just asking this for know the experienced user opinions
I would suggest
# brains rom v10
# experience lite v2
# Infinity rom v4

[FAQ][CM10.1/10.2][All Xperia 2011]

Hi people,
I hope this can help those who ask some common questions in all threads or just don't read the OP or the OP hasn't Q&A, so let's start.
Q: How to enable the developer options on CM10.1/10.2?
A: Settings>About phone> click 7 times on Build number.
Q: Where can I find gapps?
A: Here.
Q: The call volume is too low, why?
A: This’s a known issue not only in Xperia phones but in the most 4.1.x & 4.2.x roms on other phones. Anyway, check your baseband. If you are not using the newest, update it here: How to Install JB, ICS or GB on Xperia™ Smartphones, as well as root them.
Or/And: Decreases the volume and increase it during a call.( this tip works for me, I'm using BB.77 but should work with other basebands too).
Q: My camera doesn’t work properly, 720p still has low quality, blablabla… why?
A: Because Sony doesn’t release JB camera libs for Sony Xperia 2011 phones, so you can wait till any developer make some kind of magic or sign this petition: "JB Camera libs for all Sony Xperia 2011 Phones".
Q: Why my Wi-Fi doesn't work?
A: Before reporting that it doesn't work, use the kernel (boot.img) inside the rom (.zip).
Q: How to enable the pie controls & navigation bar?
A: First you need a file explorer, then add this line qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 to /system/build.prop & reboot the phone to activate the on screen buttons (Navigation Bar). Then go to Settings>System>Power menu>Expanded desktop & activate it & then you will see pie control in the Settings>System menu.
Q: How to enable lockscreen rotation?
A: First you need a file explorer, then add this line lockscreen.rot_override=true to /system/build.prop & reboot the phone to take effect.
Q: How to disable buttons backlight? (This's only for JB 4.2.2 old releases)
A: First you need a file explorer, then go to /system/etc & edit the hw_config.sh file like that:
# LMU AS3676 Configuration
dev=/sys/devices/i2c-0/0-0040/leds
echo 500 > $dev/button-backlight/max_current
Change the value to:
# LMU AS3676 Configuration
dev=/sys/devices/i2c-0/0-0040/leds
echo 1 > $dev/button-backlight/max_current
After editing, save the file & restart your phone to take effect.
This new method is for Mike's CM10.1 rom (04/06/2013 & 17/06/2013 builds) or other roms based on his rom:
First download this file & then, using a file explorer, copy the file to /system/etc/init.d & set permission to rwxr-xr-x (0755), then restart your phone to take effect.
Thanks to AndyYan
Q: While flashing a rom I get "status 7" error, how to fix it?
A: This happens because you have probably wiped the system. See here how to fix it.
Q: My compass doesn't work correctly with Google Maps, Google Earth, etc. How to fix it?
A: Try this. First you need a file explorer, then go to /system/etc/sensors.conf. If by default is like that:
#Setup AKM897x axis
ak897xorientation_axis_map = 0,1,2
ak897xorientation_axis_sign = 1,1,-1
ak897xmagnetic_axis_map = 1,0,2
ak897xmagnetic_axis_sign = -1,1,1
Then change the values to:
#Setup AKM897x axis
ak897xorientation_axis_map = 0,1,2
ak897xorientation_axis_sign = 1,1,-1
ak897xmagnetic_axis_map = 0,1,2
ak897xmagnetic_axis_sign = -1,-1,1
Caution: Create a backup of your default sensors.conf file & after editing, restart your phone to take effect.

Q: How can I help the development of any ROM?
A: Not with, "+1", "FC", "me too", "same bug here", blablabla. These comments are useless.
Q: So, how can I really help?
A: Simple. Remember doing this you're helping the developer & yourself, you're intelligent, so you understand what I'm saying, right!?!
Do that in the right ROM thread:
Phone model:
Baseband version:
ROM version:
Did you?
wipe:
restore with titanium backup:
reboot after having the issue:
Are you using?
a task killer:
the kernel (boot.img) in the zip or other:
Settings/Performance settings (other than default):
What steps will reproduce the problem?
But the most important thing is this: attach a LOGCAT of the problem.
Q: Ok nice, but I’m noob & I don’t know how to LOGCAT, where can I learn?
A: Here, here or stop being lazy & search in XDA forums.

At least at GMaps still working.
Hey mate
The status 7 error can be solved easily.
U can jst remove device checking lines from updater script of rom . And then flash it. Rom zip wil then flash without issues.

Hi cyberdejy,
Which rom are you using? I'm using Mike's LX rom & I get 140~170 free ram, I use greenify app too.
Lock screen customization not work well.
Can you give me a description of shell.apk, please?
Hi @mauam. A lot of people are asking about wifi not working on mike's LX ROMs, because they don't flash the kernel included in zip. Can you add this question to your FAQ? Something like Q: "Why is my wifi not working?" A: "Flash the kernel(boot.img) included in zip file"
Thanks
