Sorry for ask, but I read several post and it's no so clear to me.
I have a HTC Titan II (PI86100), and i'm looking for upgrade or new rom. I read in some threads that it's the same for titan. Is that true?
Thanks for your help, and sorry for ask; but I don't wanna make a mistake.:good:

If you are talking about recent official 7.8 update - than - yes - it's applicable for all devices because it's not OEM update - it's MS update (only msxip and sys parts - common for all WP 7.X phones).

If all you're interested in is the official stock update from Microsoft and your carrier, then your answer is yes. If you wish to HSPL your device and thus flash it with custom ROMs, then your answer is no. To date, the SPL on that device makes it impossible to flash custom ROMs.

is there TYTN offical wm6 rom?

Hi
I am wondering if there is official wm6 rom for TYTN? My phone is unlocked...does that cause problems if I want to upgrade later?

No official WM6 carrier ROM released yet. But there will be in the coming months. Just keep visiting the forums and you'll find out when it's out.
Also, being unlocked doesn't cause any problems with upgrading later.
You can alwasy visit here ( http://www.europe.htc.com/support/software/htctytn.html ) on a regular basis to see if its been posted officially.
And here the official statement from Microsoft:
http://www.microsoft.com/germany/windowsmobile/articles/wm6-update.mspx
this is still very good news. just a general upgrading question, will upgrading be a complicated process?

Upgrading is easy but things which can brick your phone can happen. Do some more reading, especially Mrvanx's guide to make the process painless.

i think you made a mistake typing your spl, i suspect its actuially 2.10.0000
use hspl3
if it really 20.000.0, then are you sure its a hd2??? hehe
oh, and be sure and do your rom search in THIS dedicated tmous (tmous = t mobile us, , you did mean from tmo us didnt you? your phone is different from all the other hd2s) section, you are currently in the regular hd2 thread, and not all roms are compatible.
ohh, yes its 2.10.0000 okay i'll download the HSPL 3 and install it and get back to you. thanks so much, yeah i mean't tmo us. oh i see there's regular hd2 and the tmobile hd2.. i see okay sorry am kinda new to all this. thank you so much.
no worries.
one word of caution, read a LOT before you start to flash, most things are recoverable, but the wrong radio will kill your phone, it will NOT be recoverable.
radios have versions of the form x.xx.5x.x
the red bit will always be either 50 or 51. You must NEVER flash a 51 radio.
See posts 1 and 2 HERE (the tmous radio thread) for a list of compatible radios.
(To be honest, you needn't worry about radios for a while yet, there is no need for you to change radios for teh roms you will be flashing, so get used to rom flashing before you start on radios.)
Happy flashing!
wow, this is exactly the type of thread i've been searching for. i, too, have a 1024leo (tmous hd2), with 2.10.0000. so is flashing a bad radio the only way to brick?

Putting a HTC rom on A Vodafone HD2

Hi Guys I see a new HTC stock Rom was realsed last week.
The problem I have is that I got my phone from Vodafone so that I cannot install htc stock roms
The final problem is that Vodafone have notified me that they will no longer release any firmware updates for this phone!!!
So im stuck on version 1.72 which was released a long time ago!
How can I install the new stock rom on my phone? I know before you installed hspl but I have read that this does not support the new stock rom 3.14.
Another method ive seen is goldcard?
Could anyone tell me what I would have to do to install the stock rom updates?
Thanks very much for the help guys!!
Mark
Have you tried it? HSPL then flash the official rom? if it dont work just try a custom ROM there's plenty out there, you can always flash from SD (the original Vodafone ROM) if something goes wrong. Think im right in saying that?

Roms compatible with the HTC Titan

Hi,
After selling my HTC Blackstone with custom rom. Now i want to flash my Titan with a custom rom.
But which one?
Are there any Roms made special for the Titan, please post here.
Interop locked or unlocked...?
I've used different kinds of Roms, Energy i liked most.
But so many as for 6.5, i can't find for windows phone mango
Currently there is no HSPL for the Titan (or as they are most commonly called with WP7: unlocked Bootloaders). Therefore it is currently not possible to flash a ROM onto the Titan which is not signed by HTC.
Moved to HTC Titan General
No questions in the development section please. I have been clear in the read before posting sticky, located in the general section.
Take it easy

It's not a matter of what's wrong with it but a matter of what can we do with it to make it better or "ours"

[Q] HTC 7 Mozart firmware version: 2250.21.51101.40

i've a new HTC 7 Mozart with windows phone 7.5, OS version: 7.10.7740.16,Radio Software version:5.71.09.02a_22.51.50.21U,Rádio Hardware Version:A.102.0.D4,Bootloader version:5.11.2250.1(133487) and firmware version: 2250.21.51101.401,buy on uk(Ornage)but its unlcok. Can i debrand/flash,how?
Thanks
Follow the debrand guide by Casey in the sticky. Had same firmware and it worked for me.
Your HTC7 Mozart is same as mine? And it works, wich branded rom you choose?
I used the roms within the first post, and it debranded my Mozart, although there was a slew of updates via Zune after.
Use the two linked roms, and your Mozart will be debranded and only HTC will be seen.
Edit: Yes, my Mozart had the same version firmware as yours. Follow the debrand instructions and you will get the update for tethering.
Thanks bazza155 ,ill gonna trie then i out here the feedback
Okay, need anymore help, don't hesitate to ask. When doing the Mango update it takes a long time. The progress bar on the Mozart looks like it has stopped. I assure you it hasn't, just be patient.
okay...i´m portuguese and im patient
The Mozart will be in US English, wouldn't you prefer Portuguese?
yes,will,be availble?

It is the European rom you're using to debrand, but as far as I can tell, you can't select Portuguese with the display language. Only ones available are: Deutsch, English, Espanol, Francais, or Italiano.
All other settings have Portuguese available.
EDIT: Looking for a ROM that will have your native language.
I did not understand, the ROM is ready or not. If you are ready where I can find it?

Sorry, there is no Portuguese displaying ROM (As far as I can tell). You might be able to find one... Or if you're happy to use English but have everything else in Portuguese (Keyboard and locale), then you can just carry on using them roms within the debrand thread.
i put this same question in the "General " but i ask you cause i thinh i know, here she goes:
"i've a new HTC 7 Mozart with windows phone 7.5, OS version: 7.10.7740.16,Radio Software version:5.71.09.02a_22.51.50.21U,Rádio Hardware Version:A.102.0.D4,Bootloader version:5.11.2250.1(133487) and firmware version: 2250.21.51101.401,buy on uk(Ornage)but its unlcok. How Can i Custom Rom
Help me please,i dont want brick my new phone, show me some tutorial
i´m portuguese,is there a nice rom whith PT language? "
I'll look for a custom ROM that may have Portuguese. But not sure if I can find a Portuguese guide. You will need to use the Orange UK 1.22.061.10 from the original debrand thread, before any ROM anyway.
And how i do that,is there any tutorial?

Sorry, I didn't read everything you typed. It appears you have done the debrand already, but have the latest bootloader.
I was under the impression you were still not sure on what to do, and were waiting for a Portuguese ROM.
As far as I know, there isn't a way to put a custom ROM onto that bootloader version just yet. It will be coming I'm sure, but not sure it is out yet.
You could always go into settings and under location select Portuguese for as much as you can.
You will have all the functions of that phone now, albeit not in your prefered language. I was still looking for a ROM for you.
No my friend,i dindo do anything, because i never had mobile with windows, only android,i dont know how to debrand and thats the first thing, then i want to know how to install a custom rom,are understand now?

Your Orange UK phone has bootloader 5.11.2250.1(133487)? I believe I read it was 4.6..... or so earlier?
You can try this in this post for your bootloader: How to downgrade SPL
Once you've done that, you should be able to install the needed HSPL/RSPL for the custom ROMS.
ok,i´m gonna do that but tell me what is the "HSPL/RSPL"
(i´m sorry,i´m noob here)

HSPL/RSPL Thread
It is required for custom ROMs
Remember you must not have SPL 4.XX or above.
