What applications can be safely removed with Titanium Backup - Galaxy S Advance I9070 Themes and Apps

My friends,
What applications can be safely removed from stock ROM swept to power of Samsung, which are useless and do not in any way affect the smooth running of the program?
A list of these programs, I think it would be useful for those who did root the phone and want to get rid of them, that occupies space and runs backround.
PS: I hope not have such a topic, and if so, please, one of the moderators to delete or move to the appropriate area.
Thanks
LE: I found a topic, I say relevant, but is specific to Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100.

Background
Whenever we do installation of any rom and then while setting it up again there are numerous of apps which comes by default with each rom and we remove manually them using Titanium backup or any such apps or even if we are too expert then we go in system folder and remove the apks from app using root rights.
e.g. you have remove live wallpapers which comes default with every rom and whenever you do a clean/upgrade the rom they are installed back and you need to remove them again.
Don’t you think it would have been better if those apps auto removed and you don’t have to do anything apart from few settings and rebooting your phone? I know you will say this would be the AWESOME.
So let me provide you all the steps for this and few of them are only needed once and few are require after every rom installation.
You would required Titanium backup (might be pro) as I am sure if these works in basic version or not. It would be great if someone can confirm this.
[Guide] Auto removal for boaltware apps which you don’t use w/o using any script
So here are the steps which you need to do it once (I will mention Titanium Backup as TB):-
1. Open TB and goto Backup/resore and click on “Click to edit filters”
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2. At the bottom of the screen click on “Create Label”
3. In the pop up box put any name (I have given Boaltware)
4. then click Save and then get out of that screen by pressing back button
5. Now to add apps in that group, just simply long press on any app.
6. In the pop up message click on Assign Lables and select the name which you give in step 3.
7. Then click Save label assignments
8. Repeat step 5 to 7 for all those app which you want to auto removed
9. Now go in TB preference and look for “Bloatware Melter”
10. Then click it and select the Melt label [the name you selected in step 3]
11. Reboot your phone and leave it for 10 mins and all your app which you selected will be auto removed.
Congratulation you are done with the steps which you only needs to do once.
Now coming to those steps which you need to do after installting any rom and to remove those apps which you have just selected.
1. Enable the USB debugging mode
2. Install TB
3. Open it and grant the root access
4. close TB
5. Reboot your phone and leave it for around 10 mins
6. Your all the apps will be removed
p.s. – Those labels configuration are stored in your sd-card so even you do a full wipe then also the TB auto recovers those from your sdcard[/QUOTE]

Hm, I think I deleted all that before (and some more). And I do not have problem. :angel: Those backups are not connected to gmail account.
I do not know about that Software-Update 2x.
But on custom ROM and custom kernel you sure want to delete FOTA update. Or any other update from Samsung.

First off, A huge thanks to P3Droid for pre-rooting the 2.3.3 Droid X2 Update
BLOAT REMOVAL UPDATED 8/4 (RECOMMEND unfreezing before flashing custom roms or performing a factory reset)
Safe to freeze or rename manually (strongly recommended) or if you feel lucky remove
NOTE: You will want to unfreeze everything before you factory reset or flash any custom roms to be safe. Initial setup definitely requires both parts of BackupAssistant, without you will be stuck in a bootloop.

Reminder: I am not responsible for causing any issues with your phone. That being said, I have tested all of the above removals and for my purposes they do not cause any issues. This may differ based on your needs, so think about it before you freeze and be even more careful if you remove.
Please let me know any additional safe to remove system apks and I will test and update the list.

Am I correct in assuming that this update will be unsigned, hence needing the custom recovery?
Only reason I ask is because I've been holding off on installing a custom recovery until ClockworkMod or similar releases one. If I absolutely have to I'll use the Chinese Atrix one, but if I can avoid it, that'd just be gravy.

if you SBF it should bring it back to stock recovery. Well it worked for me. The other recovery should let you install CWM over it. I'm not sure but i would like to know.

ALL THE GOOGLE APPS IN ONE PACK
THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS -- PLEASE MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE TRYING
What is gExperience?
Its a pack that has ALL the Google Apps in one single place for which you can select individually what you want to install! This pack not only has the standard Google Apps but also what is available at the Play Store, including restricted apps not available in every country. It also has inverted versions for available apps. It also tries to install all possible apps to /data partition so you don't end up with no space in /system. Finally, you can choose to uninstall undeed files for your language (like Offline Google Now, Pico TTS). All of this fully customizable thanks to Aroma Installer.
What is included exactly?
You can check a list here. Please note that as of now there are some apps not available for install (even though they show up in the installer).
These unavailable apps are:
All Google TV apps (if someone knows where to get them, please PM me)
Google Catalogs (if someone knows where to get it, please PM me)
Google Apps Device Policy
Google Apps Lookup
Google Chrome to Phone (1 request so far)
Google Analytics
Google Authenticator
Google Finance
All Google IME
Google IO 2012
Orkut
Schemer
If I receive 5 or more request for any of these apps I will try to include them
How do I install this?
Just like any script in CWM Recovery. Just select the zip and let Aroma guide you through the rest.
Can I install on my NOT Defy device?
Is my understanding that this script should work with no problems with Bravo and Milestone 2 devices. It should work with other devices as there's no device dependent scripting. Please note that this pack DOES NOT includes FaceLock as it is not supported for my device.
Currently known supported devices:
Defy
Is there anything else I should know?
YES, please be aware that whatever you choose NOT to install will be DELETED from your device (if you have that app installed obviously). This only applies for apps installed with gExperience.
Can I install on top of my full size gapps?
You can, but it can lead to unexpected results. One thing you have to understand is that the app name can have any name (it will not affect the name of the app when you install it). For example, I can name the YouTube apk as "XDAYT.APK". It will install normally and with no problems but there's no way for the script to know the name of the file of every app installed so this script will only install and uninstall apps installed by itself. You're probably better off installing this on a fresh ROM with no gapps installed.
Can I translate it to my language?
Sure you can! Please point your browser here: http://www.getlocalization.com/gEx/
Languages supported:
English (by me) | UP TO DATE
Spanish (by me with some help from edqu) | UP TO DATE
Polish (thanks to trurl3) | 0.2 beta
Portuguese (Brazil) (thanks to GustavoMartins1 / claudiobastos) | UP TO DATE

Can I send you my calibration_matrix data?
You don't need to do it anymore! Amarullz updated the Aroma Installer and now calibration is not required anymore!:victory:
I want to report a bug! What shall I do?
Try to give me as much information as possible (like gExperience version, device, apps selected, etc). Also you could save the log right after the script finishes. You will see a "Save Log" button on the bottom left hand side.
This is too much for me! Is there a lighter version?

Just download calibration.zip and then install it via CWM like any other script (Press Power button on first dialog to select no). After finishing the new data will be written to calibration.zip. Send it to me and let me know which device are you using! YOUR SYSTEM WILL NOT BE MODIFIED. IT WILL ONLY GET YOUR CALIBRATION DATA AND FINISH

New version 0.2 beta is up! Now you don't need calibration anymore! Also added a few more translations (thanks to all that contributed) and fixed a few bugs! Check OP for download link.
Hi and GG it looks so cool, but why not include ALL gaaps and during installation tick what you want/don't want ?
thanks

Fix!
I check the following fix with a iMac and a Windows8 laptop. For both the MTP and PTP mode work and I got fully access to the internal and also external SD card of my Note.
Now, I need a confirmation that this also work for others on the P600 and for all for the P601. I didn't check this with a clean ROM and maybe another change I made early is also needed. So, if it didn't work then report it to me and if possible add a logcat file.
How to fix it:
Make a NAND backup with the recovery!!!
Unpack the mtpFix zip
Copy "MtpApplication.apk"(*) to /systems/priv-app
Change the attributs to 644 (like usual)
Copy the 3 so-files(*) to /system/lib
Change also the attributes to 644 for all 3 files
Reboot your tablet
Connect via USB
Be happy (I hope)
*) The files already exist.
PS. All 4 files are from a P600 firmware and maybe for the P601 we need others from his firmware!
PPS. I didn't check until now Kies (didn't have installed it). Maybe somebody else can test if the connection work? Thx.
Next step will be a fix for the GPS issue...

Notes about S pen :
1-Air command :
Screen write - S Finder - ScrapBook - Action Memo all are works but Pen Window still not working

by long press at the button of Spen on the screen then cut what you want and it save it in Scrapbook or any app you want ..
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2-how to enable Pen-hover & Air View :
Download any Sqlite Editor from play store (i recommended to buy SQLite Editor)
Open the editor and search for "Settings Storage"
Then click on "System"
Go to "Set Filter" and search for "pen"
Edit these values as picture below
if "pen_detachment_option" does not exist then make a New Record and write the name "pen_detachment_option" and Value "2"

I will try and report. Also my changes in the build.props, so we don't have a unusabke telephone in the contacts app or a sim-card missing warning or stuff like this.
Can someone please upload the UPSM launchers from this rom? I'd download it and get them myself but unfortunately my bandwidth is limited and these roms are huge. Thanks, want to try to port it to other roms.

Google Play fix
Great work....Does anyone have a solution for the play store error, I get a "Unauthorized actions have been detected" notice whenever a google app tries to access the server, this port is the best posted so far and the most complete, this issue with google play store is the only thing in the way of using this port as a daily driver...
Hi, sorry for my ignorance, but can anyone explain what are the improvements when comparing with a regular rom for our note 2014 edition ???

when I got the ROM then I will make here a detail list about all changes, what works and were I have issues (have in mind that I have a P600).
Beside a real test this are some changes (it's subjective if it is an improvement for you):
darker layout which you can see in the screenshots from above
an extrem power saving mod, where only some chosen apps are running and nothing else in the background
more effects for the lock screen
a kid mode which have an extra homescreen. Only aloud apps can be started.
an easier access to some settings but here I will check which one already work
...
PS. For some screenshots of single apps (like the launcher), you can also look here: Ported apps from tab s
Action Memo App Added
i added Action Memo app from Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 to this rom:
Download these files:

file 2: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ut24rns3vd9ih0z/SecQuickMemo.apk?dl=0
file 3: https://www.dropbox.com/s/iii9c562ysbd72z/SecQuickMemoApp.apk?dl=0
copy them to /system/app and change permission to 644 then reboot
Air Command..
Installing Air Command....... [Edited]
download this file in your tablet storage:
link: https://mega.co.nz/#!Vlsz0QCY!3bmG39dB78Tc0MXal5Cs3PQ6NFnZvgzV-DPPj6Xiu6M
extract and copy these files to /system/app
1-AirCommand.apk
2-AirCommandmod.apk
3-mobi.xperiacle.penwindowmanager-1.apk
give them permission 644
now you can reboot...
after reboot you will need to activate Air Command by pressing it 1 time in the app drawer
Done! :victory::victory::victory::victory:

i tried a little.. google play works great... it doesn't have any problem... the real problem is in other place of os
i couldn't find the problem yet.. but it tries to find the mobile data modem.. if you watch the data usage you can see it uses your internet all the time..
i tried to modify play store and it needed filed.. but it didn't work
and even other stores like aptoide doesn't work too..
...
and other thing i was thinking about is what is goprovider?
Another issue
- a reboot remove WiFi configurations. So every reboot, I have to manually setup the connection.
PS. Google play store still FC.
Edit: I will try I clean install (clear also the system before) and see, if this helps.

Bloatware List MIUI 8
--- reserved ---
I use the Xiaomi.eu version of MIUI 8 and it has literally no bloat. You can check from that ROM which apps are not required
Thank you for your post. For some users Xiaomi apps like the email-app, the dialer or the weather-app may be "unwanted apps."
Since these apps are system, they have wide ranging permissions and the possibility to spread data to whoever.
You said "You can check from that ROM which apps are not required" - did you uncheck any apps when you prepared the ROM for your device?

I have safely deleted 50+ system apps on Miui haha, only one app controlled the menu button, don't know which one though.
Good luck!
Nice! Looks like some stuff to tidy up. Thanks for the links.
I will test them, after my phone is accessible again

Yay! Fixed it. I am testing disabling the apps. Every success, I will add to the list above.
When replacing the stock MIUI dialer (contacts and dialer, com.android.contacts)
with google dialer (com.google.android.dialer) - I face the following problem: the call history is empty.
The issue is addressed in this MIUI-forum-thread, but the guys there have a little different way to "help" people out...
To solve this issue I tested several dialers (dialer or dialers?). I mostly downloaded them from APKMirror. Here are the dialers I tested, and that do NOT work:
- google dialer 2.05.01
- google dialer 2.05.07
- google dialer 2.05.11
- google dialer 2.05.12
- google dialer 3.01.15
- google dialer 4.0.1272
- google dialer 4.1.1347
- google dialer 5.1.1312
- google dialer 6.0.1360
- drupe
Most of them were not able to install and those, that were did not NOT show a call list.
The only dialer that worked was:
- Marshmallow Dialer 6 V1.0
But this dialer is not from Google, it has ads and seems quite suspicious for me (because they hide behind a 1:1 copy of the Google Dialer, there is no impressum / about info and I heard of antivir software that report this APK to be suspicious)
hey guys, i uninstalled yesterday some system apps with adb uninstall.
after som testing with some other roms i decided go back to miui 8 and stay there completed unlocked und unrooted
now i wanted again to uinstall some gapps and mi stuff and i always get an error
Failure DELETE FAILEDINTERNAL ERROR
doesnt matter if i try with uninstal /dir/dir/apk.apk or with rm and adb shell i always get the same error.
and srsly i dont know what i did that i could uninstall system apps because now its not working anymore.
After flashing an other ROM, you have to root it again.

I didnt flash root before, because im using banking apps that detect every root. The banking arent running if they check root.
Thats why im wondering, never installed root and i was able to adb uninstall, after flashing china and global rom back i get faileiru if i start uninstalling system apps.
I am not sure, but I heard, that the chinese DEV ROM is always rooted.
"Global ROM" must be rooted manually, maybe that´s the difference.
By the way: You can prevent banking apps from checking your root status, by installing Xposed framework + the module Xprivacy. Then deny access to Shell | SU for the specific banking app. Works fine, but if you are not familar with Xprivacy, it is a bit complex to get into it.
Edit: Nah.. does not work for all banking apps. DKB PushTAN does not work for example.
The 3S Prime is my first Xiaomi phone and I'm so confused as to how disabling non-essential Google apps can cause a phone to bootloop...

You mean lock screen wallpapers? Because if you remove the MIUI launcher you have to install an alternative launcher , that has its own wallpaper anyway.
When you uninstall DocumentsUI.apk in android MM 6.0+ you cant excess external sd to copy or move any file vice versa...

No, sorry for the confusion. The list worked fine, I've since moved to zwliew's CM 13. I was just making a general statement how absurd it is that disabling non-essential system apps can cause bootloops.
Is it possible to install the Mi camera app as a standalone app on any other device or in a different ROM on this device? If so would I be able to get all the features of the camera app?

I just ported it for users who wants to use this script
Looks like no one tried this so I am the lab mouse. I have a G920F and was waiting for a stock-like modified Nougat ROM. After a week or two, I went another route -- flashed a stock ROM and used this script.
Since Nougat for Galaxy S6 is not yet out in my country, I used XEF firmware from France. After flashing and without deleting cache/data, it just upgraded my existing Marshmallow ROM and worked just fine.
Then I went to TWRP, did a factory reset and flashed this debloat script. I can say that after initial setup and a day of usage, everything seems to work.
Thx for the script, works good. But after magisk update, it says "no root" in the magisk app. Any ideas?

The new update from Magisk-SU in the Magisk-Manager app works great.
My device is now on N7 with Magisk 12
---------- Post added at 07:04 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:46 AM ----------
So after some problems, here is my short test of the script:
My device: G925F
My steps.
1. ODIN flash with the new german N7 version from vodafone
2. ODIN flash from the newest version of TWRP (3.1.0.0)
3. Wiped all partitions on the phone (including "internal sdcard")
4. Changed internal SDCARD from S2FS to EXT4
5. Mounted the device via cable to pc an transmit this script.
6. Flashed the script (no errors on the display)
7. Restard and booted the first time in my new Android 7
Magisk V.12 is ready to update via OTA
Here some problems I have found:

I have removed the bloatware with an "Root Installer" from Google Play Store.
Now I'm searching for a "Reboot Menu" in Nougat

-Play News
-Play Music
-Play Games
-One Note
-One Drive
-Google+
-Powerpoint
-Word
-Excel
.. there are more that i don't remember at the moment..

Have you found the problems with "remove knox"?
I see "Knox-Version 2.7.1" in my Softwareinfo.
So I think KNOX is installed.

I've flashed V1.1, but i have issue with samsung account, it keeps giving me session expired, and i can't login to samsung account.
EDIT :
It appears that flashing the TWRP 3.1.0 through ODIN breaks samsung account, any suggestion to fix it ?
EDIT 2 [FIX] :
I've managed to get it fixed by wiping the data for "Samsung Account" app using Titanium Backup
Does this rom work with S6 G9200 (dual Sim)?
please advise. Thanks
Please fix the samsung account....

Just use Titanium Backup to wipe the data for Samsung Account.
Go to "Backup/Restore", open "Samsung account", click on "Wipe Data"
Then re-login and everything should work fine.
it worked for me.
