You have to also think about the fact that Lloir and almost all of these developers are making/working-on/tweaking these ROMs and Projects on their spare time, and they're not only developing for this phone alone but others as well. I'm just glad people like them are generous to donate their efforts and knowledge to the community and create a better android experience for us to play with.
Kudos, Lloir. Thanks for all you've done for the AT&T community as well as Android as a whole

Well its a little off-topic here but I am in the mood to write it
Back in the days when I started with Android and xda on my HOV.
It was no big surprise that a dev named Lloir caught my attention
very soon Beginning from this we started a strong development
"relationship" which IMHO works quite well.
Hope he sees that the same way
So THANKS Lloir

Thanks for picking this project up again, not much has changed since you last released a CM10 ROM for the at&t variant

I already flashed back to the stock rom, as this is my only phone and I still need to text/make calls. Maybe I can flash back to your room sometime tomorrow if no one else provides you with screenshots.

Mostly everything seems to be working, I haven't had time to test Bluetooth or NFC.
Camera seems to be tilted 90 degrees to the left.
The menu button doesn't seem to respond after changing the system hardware keys settings. It could be just me, I will try redownloading and reflashing the rom and kernel later.

BT + NFC are screwed I got a fix for them it's just me stopping looking at data to do it.

[ Unofficial CyanogenMod 10.1 Build on HTC DNA ]
..CURRENT BUILD..
Since we have others working on CM10.1 atm, I'll be taking a short break from working on it.
Boot.img @ http://bit.ly/Z67HB2
Flashable Zip @ http://bit.ly/Z1FLQ8
This is an older build (already posted on androidfilehost) that I am repackaging without the boot.img.
I need to look over the boot.img to make sure its safe for certain users.
Boot.img added today [03.02.13]
This build is highly experimental and in fact, doesnt completely boot up. I think it boots to a completely screwed up screen tbh. I can't recall (its from the 18th!) This buildnt isn't the screwed up screen version.

If you're ever in the mood to donate, don't forget about the others that have helped advance the HTC DNA to new levels (e.g. dsb9938, jcase, beaups, CM team, or XDA for bringing us all together!). Although, I may be working on CM and it may seem like a completely different project, in many ways we all rely on each other to help make the DNA better.

Just got home from work later than I intended, but ill still try my best to get updated flashable zip up.
Not sure if I'll get it posted tonight afterall... I got caught up in doing kernel modifications. I prefer to fix many problems at the source rather then applying bandaids if possible.
I really look forward to it. I know it wasn't much, but I gave you a donation the other day. I know this phone can be better then my g-nex was. Thanks for all your hard work!!!

Thanks for seeing this through. We know that you don't owe it to anyone and it is entirely a gift to the community (one you should see monetary thanks for in my opinion since it truly increases the value of our devices) and I for one am very grateful for the work you've done.

Kernels are an area I CAN help you out with. Just drop me a like giving me some specifics you want me to focus on and if you have a build environment in a box to share, I'd take it since I have never been setup to build JB and haven't had a build environment up in a while period

Cool man! Glad you got a thread over here for us
Only thing I've found not working aside from what's posted under Not Working is that during a call if you place it in speakerphone, the other party can't hear you.
BUT that's something I'm sure will get iron out as time goes by :good:
Definitely glad to have this on the HTC One!
So I'll ask the dumb guy question. I jumped from VZW, so I'm not even slightly familiar with cross-platform flashing or radio swaps etc. Anything I need to know other than just typical flashing instructions? Any unique stuff that we need to do for TMo flashing?

Most Sense 'apps', and especially the camera app, rely very heavily on the Sense framework. Unfortunately that means that most of them will never see the light of day on an AOSP ROM.

As I recall on the G2, it was possible to get wifi working on CM7, but it required kernel tweaking. I give it a 50/50 chance.

Cross post from Romans AOKP Rom thread:
I think something is up with AOSP with the GFX . If you download the live wallpaper below you will see it has some strange effects that do not happen on the stock rom. My Nexus 10 tablet and nexus 4 on 4.2.2 does not have the artifacts so I do not believe this is a 4.2.2 issue with the phone but both your Cyanogen and Romans rom display the issue.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tribok.android.livewallpaper.springtideshower.lite
Its a great wallpaper BTW but wanted to bring it to your attention because maybe something is off with the GFX driver being used? I understand that major work is done by https://github.com/htc-msm8960 but thought I would let you know if you could help pass along.
Thanks,
1WayJonny
Is there a problem making calls? I have not been able to hear the receiver end when making a call at up.

Why is this ROM "taking CyanogenMod to the next level?
CyanogenMod does not want to include many customizations like they did in cm7
But why not? We want to customize our phones!
This ROM adds more options and cherries to CyanogenMod, cherry picked from the CM gerrit, Google gerrit, AOKP gerrit, SGT7, TeamEOS, TeamBAKED, Slim ROM, Root-Box, ChameleonOS and ParanoidAndroid
Basically this is one big mixture of all the great ROMs out here!
Stock but still highly customizable the way we like it
Build with linaro gcc 4.8

First off, thanks for adding support for the Evo LTE, it's always nice to get some love for non-Samsung phones.
Couple quick questions as I've been shopping for a new rom for a while now that the MeanBean dev has more or less moved on.
1. Does this work with the newer touchscreen firmware? I tried vanilla Cyanogenmod 10.1 a couple times (last time being about a month and a half ago) and I saw it still required a downgrade. I ask because I'm hesitant to downgrade as I do like to keep a Sense nandroid around.
2. What's the difference between the gapps and the gapps slim in terms of feature set/ram footprint?

There was a display driver firmware update that happened on the phone a while back. Long story short, it made the touchscreen not register user input on all non-Sense based ROMs. HTC dragged their feet on releasing the code for devs to make the changes (and may still have not gotten around to doing it). I ask because I've had a really really hard time finding a straight answer on this and got tired of constantly reflashing Cyanogenmod every few weeks to see if it had been addressed yet.
The only way to address the problem I've found is to flash an old Sense ROM and then flash Cyanogenmod. So it's kind of an either/or unless you want a huge hassle every time you switch between them or you want to run an old Sense ROM.
If that isn't an issue anymore, I'd be more than happy to provide feedback for bugs, performance, etc. My phone hardware is version 003.
Thanks!
Sweet!! Thanks devs!
On Wi-fi, it may actually take me 3 days to download ANY of the Gapps.

Yeah, there isn't any is there? Our phone has hardware buttons.
Not only that, but like in all other 4.2 AOSP Roms, if you choose a Menu icon in the Nav Bar, it doesn't work either. Even the 3-dot menu doesn't work on the launcher.

Moved thread here considering this is usually where I'm at anyways.
Nice I am rocking it.
I know why you get asked the same questions that are already answered in your OP... it's because of those girls

Awesome I used your rm on my Galaxy S2, 3, 4 and decided that Samsung wasnt for me as in the looked bootloaders cause of AT&T.
Hey welcome Task! I loved your ROM on my S III glad to see you in this neck of the woods excited to see what's to come!
Probably a dumb question but does this have the HTC editing suite? Is that even possible on aosp Roms?

Nope. It doesn't.
Not sure. I've never thought about using anything from Sense before. If its just an app it might work. Just grab the apk from a stock ROM and see.

Dang.
The camera on this thing is pretty weak, and the editing stuff was somewhat neat. Losing that makes the camera pretty terrible...
I don't know if there's an apk that can just be installed. It's probably more work than that.

The camera on stock Sense is weak too. It's nothing new that the camera just sucks on this device. I've owned just about every flagship and nexus device and its just a fact when compared to anything out there already. Editing software doesn't change that. There are a ton of apps in the Play Store that do just about anything in terms of editing. So all in all. The camera is terrible no matter what app you would like to sugarcoat it with. But yep. Unless HTC decides to opensource their camera, then we are all sh$t outta luck on that. Things will get better on aosp though. It's just a matter of time.
Handset ready for the update. F5ing it.

Yeah, looking back, I only edited stuff for like the first day or two when I got the phone. After that I never bothered with it lol. I'm on a gpe ROM and for some reason the camera is slow as hell. It was fast on the stock sense crap but now it takes forever. I haven't used it yet on this so I'm hoping it's fast again.
Oh, and this ROM has the most badass boot animation, lmao. It's a shame I don't reboot the phone very often hahaha.
@task650, never would I EVER say "hurry!" to a developer that does such amazing work and all, but... F5F5F5F5!!!

No signal fixes? So it's still jumping around I guess? Just wondering ofc, no offence, since I didnt read anything about it in the changelog but I know some people are working on it.

Awesome installing now TY.
Thanks for posting and working on this... Donation coming your way. I can't find the commit for the "less frequent notification sounds" but I haven't had time to clone the repo and search.
Maybe one day our paths will cross in downtown Portland... work out in The Tron

Thank you for bringing this awesome rom to our blue line. We desperately needed you ?
Thanks for bringing a new flavor to our Pixels. :good:
Would you mind to share your kernel and device tree?

Yes, I'm still unsure why the both P3 variants aren't getting very much love from devs, but I greatly appreciate you bringing some flavor to our services.

I believe that it has not much to do with "love".
Producing custom ROMs for P3 has become more complex and time consuming. This is just my observation from a development point of view.

Cant wait to give this ROM a try since I've used LiquidRemix in the past. Thanks @slothdabski for this!! Any issues with the initial build? I know the Pixel 3 XL had a few small bugs to start. Just curious if I should wait until the next build.

Ok, hopefully it'll find its way into this ROM. So far its awesome! Just wish I could squeeze for my flashlight when I need it.

That's also what I use squeeze for. LR does have ability to use power button to enable flashlight. So that's what I do on roms without active edge

voLTE. The icon used since it is thinner and better accommodates the reduced status bar space on the 3xl bc of the notch
