What do I need to check for once I open the box? OK, besides the light bleeding...
What kind of precautions do I need to take with the Li-Po battery as to maximize its performance??

Back flex is a common issue. Other than that WiFi drops is another one to watch out for

Hi,
I'm running resurrection 2.6.1 on my sgsII with cyanogen kernel.
Recently I've been finding the phone has warmed up to a worrying temp so I remove battery &let it cool down. More recently I've been finding the phone had turned itself off, no obvious reasons I can find.
Bbs does not give me anything to go on, it seems to only have info going back maybe an hour when actually the phone has been on for 4 hours+
I've fixed permissions , cleared delvik cache to see if if helps but no.
Anyone having similar issues or found a fix?

Try to flash another modem... My phone used to get hot near the camera, but after I flashed a modem which is used from carriers in my country the temperature went to normal.
And please ask in the resurrection remix thread.
First wrong section, should be on Q&A. second what makes you think you are special to believed you are the only one on the world with this problem, SEARCH. and last but not least, if you want help like that you need to have a logcat. hope this help you

Hello fellow users, I've been here on XDA for a couple years now and I am wondering what the difference is between the original ROM development section and the android development section in our main forum the Galaxy S III. Can anyone explain that?
And a question about CM, because it seems to be very popular. I used it too on my Galaxy S I, but on my 3 I just can't find the reason to do it. Can anyone explain why so many people have it or why you got it? The main reason why I don't use it is the camera, on CM it is not the same quality, way worse. Panorama for instance, here on Samsung based roms I make xxx by 1600 pixels and on CM I made xxx by 800 pixels or so.
Phone: Galaxy S III (GT-I9300)
ROM: Darkyrom III V8.2
Kernel: Siyah 1.8.6 special perfomance edition
MODEM: XXELL4
CPU UV 75 mV @1,6 GHz

Well ... CM development is suffering from lack of codes sources from Samsung , that's the reason why some stuffs you mentioned are not well implemented yet ...
Original development is for original additions ... can you call skoda octavia original ? If yes , what about bmw ?

I must have something that attracts those thousands of people. On my sgs 1 I did or for the gestures, why do people do it nowadays? Only for 4.2.1? Because I read the known problems and faqs and some of them are quite alarming..

Cm builds are smoother , I like to believe, and many people doesn't use all features inside of their phone , I personally don't get nuts if my pictures are not perfect taken by phone but I want a fluid Internet browsing, fast loading Web applications (medical mostly) and social apps .
I'm not crazy either to connect it with a monitor ...
Anyway, it's obvious that the human nature is to get every minute something new so they must try it ...

Hi Guys!
I have a Problem Today i accidentaly smashed my Glass Front of my sk17i. The Touch is still functioning as it should, but the Glass is Broken over 1/3 of the Display from top right Corner.
Now. Is there any way to Change the Glass front only or do I have to Change the complete TouchScreen Unit?! Anyone knows an address to get the Parts?
Any help would be nice. Thank you!

Im sick and tired of my marble white s3. So im planning to change my whole body myself.
Now the pevble blue version as per me has alot of variants :
1. One with chrome in the side
2. One with blue chrome on side
3. One with blue on the side.
I want the blue chrome one.
Now I live in India and I cant find the parts here. So im planning to get them from U.K from my relatives.
So I checked amazon n found few links:

Q- how hard is it? Can I use a regular blow dryer? And personal views of those who did it about its after effects.
Another question about compatibility :
Q- will the body of another version of s3 fit my i9300 hardware?
And my last question is :
Q- is there a shop like radio shack in U.K where we can buy these parts? Where my relatives can see before buying.
Any help would be smashing.

Hello Friends, I bought second hand Atrix 4G from one of my Friend. There is GB 2.6.7 cyanogenmode Rooted... When i restart mobile There is ""UNLOCKED"" written on motorola logo... My question is can i install custom rom on it ? will it relock my phone ?

Yes it will. In fact it will probably explode in your hand if you so much as think of flashing it. I think your best bet is to just put it in a drawer and never think of it again.
