Why is this ROM "taking CyanogenMod to the next level?
CyanogenMod does not want to include many customizations like they did in cm7
But why not? We want to customize our phones!
This ROM adds more options and cherries to CyanogenMod, cherry picked from the CM gerrit, Google gerrit, AOKP gerrit, SGT7, TeamEOS, TeamBAKED and ParanoidAndroid
Basically this is one big mixture of all the great ROMs out here!
Stock but still highly customizable the way we like it
Instructions:
Download all the needed files (ROM, Gapps)
Boot into recovery
Flash the ROM.zip
Flash Gapps

Sounds like a similar project to pacman ROM... Very interesting. Different with Pacman is that pacman devs don't have the phone to code on.

I use the drawable that's used in the notification bar
The button AOKP doesn't blend in with the Android UX imo

No linaro I use the Google 4.7 toolchain
Imo it is more stable then the linaro 4.7 toolchain
And it is faster than the Google 4.6 toolchain

And about the hardware acceleration app
Did you flash a custom kernel immediately after flashing the rom
The kernel included should make a folder that is needed for the app
You can still add the folder yourself though
You need to add this folder and after that reboot
/data/local/hwui.deny

Looks good, have flash and very fast... 1000 settings but no center clock but the rest looks very cool. I like the menu structure.
