I can't log in my Gmail, PlayStore, Google account on my android - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Galaxy S II with CM10.1
Since yesterday i cant access to Google Play, or Google Now, it says there’s a network problem, the WIFI icon is grey, but, i use chrome, whatsapp, etc, the internet is OK.
Now i flashed CM again, and, when it ask me for my account, the same problem, now it wont let me log in, it says it cant make a secure conection. What’s the problem? What should i do?
I cant use PlayStore, GNow, i've lost all my contacts, i cant use Gmail...im stuck.

TY all for your replies. But, i Wiped Data, Cache, Dalvik, reflashed Rom and Gapps, and the problem is still there.
PD: Today, it just worked...
It got broke by itselft, got repaired by itselft... i think it was a Google's issue, cause right now i got sync errors.
I'll be updating

Are you using the same rom file to reflash or have you tried to redownload the rom? If you haven't redownloaded it, give that a try and reflash, your original file may be corrupt thus not allowing you to access google. If you re-DL and still have the same issue, try an older version of the rom or a different one to troubleshoot your problem. If you have the same issue with an older version or a different rom you know its not an issue with the rom but rather your phone.

I did not install this rom it's an update by samsung it's the official JB update

:good::good::good: I have solution for our problem Just : If you have freedom, you don't need to delete it to fix your phone, you should have a rooted phone obviously, simply download or go into file manager and go to etc/ there should be a file in there called Hosts. Delete that.
Google is now work fine , wifi icon is BLUE :good::good::good:

Hi guys, I have discovered a solution
but you must have root
download root explorer
1.go to system folder
2.go to etc folder
search for hosts file, open it and delete all things related to google.

ok its and old thread, but maybe someone find this useful:
Enable automatic time in settings, thats all.

Any news?
I traded my HTC One to a guy and he is having this same problem. Can get cellular and data, but can't connect to google. Does this Hosts file thing work?

awesome!

Android Market showing "You don't have any devices."

I've searched the forum and couldn't find any thread related to my problem.
Problem:Android market says "You don't have any devices." but i have installed 100s of apps from 'Market app' on the phone,
I am logging in with same google account.
Is there any solution for my problem.? Is anyone else facing the same..
One more thing, ' Market App' on my phone, it is working very slow. i have fast internet connection (Wi-fi) even than it take 5-7 minutes for 'searching' and 'Loading'. Is it normal?
P.S. My device is new, nothing is rooted or changed. Its right out of the box as samsung build it.
I have found this, seems i am not alone.,
Any body on XDA facing same problem??
I'm not sure if this will help but have you tried going to settings- applications - manage applications - all tab- market- uninstall updates.
Might be worth a try for a start.
There no option of " Uninstall Updates" in 'all tab- market-'
Its new phone, I`m facing this problem since DAY-1,
Any expert on XDA can help me here..
Will rooting my device help? Or ROM change?

Rooting will make no difference. I'm not really sure why you are having this problem. Maybe somebody else may have some ideas.
You could try downloading the new market. Google market v3.1.3 and install that.
If you are still unable to solve the problem you could try the reset code in phone dialer *2767*3855#
This will totally reset your phone to factory settings as a last resort.
I've installed Market 3.1.3 as u said, but now, nothing is loading up in market, and after 1-2 mins it says, "Connection time up" [retry]. Internet is working fine on other apps, like stock browser or YouTube.
I uninstalled the new market app.
Back to ground ZERO.
Like I said you could try *2767*3855#
In phone dialer. However this will reset your phone and delete everything.
I know this will be useless, cos, when i just bought the device and faced the problem i did reset to factory setting by *2767*3855# , and nothing happens...
ANyway, thanks for ur help..

Hi this is something to do with google services framework.
Yesterday I have tried clearing this data related to google services framework..to get 4.0.4 update but..nothing worked and I am ended up with your issue. May be updating phone software may solve the problem.

I just flashed a new version of a ROM (on Galaxy III) but I got the no device message from my PC. I tried to clear data for Framework services and Play store no luck. Tried this suggestion and it worked right away! Thanks!

problem getting Google Play to work....

Hi guys need some advise,
I installed cyanogenmod 7.2 on my S2. When I add my google account it seems fine but it shows up with Sync off, can't turn it on. When I open up google play it keeps showing me a message saying server error. Web browser is working just fine.
I've tried wiping everything in recovery and wiping the google play data but the problem still persists.
Any ideas?
I installed CM 7.1 and now not experiencing any issues....
Simple suggestions. Remove/Add your Google account from the settings. Install a different ROM.
Good luck!

Wipe all your system data and cache and try OMEGA or Hydrogen Custom ROM version 4.0.4 which is more stable.
If not working then the problem might be your hardware or network connection

Can't download on wifi "appname" could not be downloaded due to an error - 403
Hey Guys, so I've been having the error 403 when trying to update or install ANY apps via Wi-Fi, ones I have purchased and ones that are free. But I can download when I am connected to my phone data (vodafone AU).
I have tried restoring via nandroid backup (i think I have gapps installed, even though I am still on the stock ROM), forgetting the gmail account, and then logging back in, restarting (duh), logging back into wifi, cleared cache etc, basically all the fixes people have said.
PLEASE HELP ASAP!
P.S I am rooted and would unroot for it to work, btw would reseting the router do anything? :crying:
114 views, no replies, so that would imply its not just me with this problem?
First try and go to settings/appmanager, find play store and clear the cache.
Write back if it's not fixed.
It didn't help :-\

Actually i didn't I'll try that now
I completely removed root using: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1721380 guide which you install the stock EVERYTHING i guess and it still doesn't work :crying: PLEASE HELP!
Edit: I used my nandroid backup not the one supplied (it gave me md5 mismatch)
That is one of the best unroot and back to stock guides..
Can i ask were u are from. Maybe Google or your country removed access to paid apps, because your wifi is working for browsing and u are able to download free apps.
So either access to paid apps have been removed or did u log in using a different gmail account .
I did have a similar problem more than a year ago and sometimes i get the 403 error, but only for an hour or so.
Ps. I has nothing to do with root, a lot of apps can not be used without root and can bought on market.
Edit:can u buy new apps. Can u try(just one) and return the purchase immediately .to if your account is up and running.
The problem isn't root or stock, I'm on stock and I get this regularly if I start a download just as I have switched on Wifi, if it fails, i start again it works fine.

I did read thank you, and I am also talking about receiving a 403 error.
But, As I have stated, it usually only happens immediately after connecting wifi. If I click ok and try again it usually works the second time.

That could potentially yes.
I just recalled another time I had this problem, and it was solved by selecting a different account (because I had multiple Google accounts set up).
Do you have multiple? If so, give it a go by selecting an alternative account from within Play Store, by hitting Menu - > Accounts.
