TOP ROM (GB/ICS) with needed features - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

I have tried several GB and ICS ROM's for my Xperia Ray.
To my knowledge, the best one for
Gingerbread: Rayonium v7 with compass fix (Missing Feature: Smart Dial)
ICS: SuperLeggera v4 with Xperia P Launcher (Missing Feature: Screenshot Capture)
But the above two ROM's are good for all usage like Gaming (Run NFS MW, Temple Run 1/2), Camera (8MP, 6MP 16:9, Smooth 720p recording ), Music, etc
Thanks to the developers!!!

The developers really appreciate that you like their ROM but no need to create such type of threads, especially to discuss about the "BEST" stuff. The developers work hard to make their releases and posting such type of threads simply make other developers feel bad. If you like those ROMs simply press the THANKS button which really encourages the devs and if you can then also donate them. But no need to make threads just to state the ROM/kernel or any other work you find the best.
Hope you understand.
Best Regards,
AJ

[Q] Porting Sony Ericsson apps

Does anyone have an idea how to port some official SE apps to for example AOSP 4.0.3 ICS BETA FINAL, which is made to be as clean as possible.
I really would like to try that ROM and compare its battery life to KA05 ICS but I really would also like to have 3d/sweep panorama camera.
This is because I'm travelling to Thailand soon.. and two main things I am going to need there are good battery life and sweep panorama camera.
So is it a big thing to port those apps for non-SE ROMs?
If someone can suggest a good swipe panorama camera app (alternative to sony's), I also would really appreacite that

[Q] (Question) How I can have the benefits of Jelly Bean in Ice Cream Sandwich?

Hello everybody, but I have this little doubt. I have an Xperia Mini ST15 am currently on Gingerbread, but many should know the new Jelly Bean advantages such as: Project Butter, notifications bar with notifications preview, improved system performance and gaming performance, Google Now , the Lock Screen and user interface. Currently I learned that you can put Google Now on devices with Ice Cream Sandwich. But my question is if I can have the advantages mentioned above. Please respond. I am a Noob. You can try installing JB-based ROMs. There are plenty of them in the Development section.

if u want the real JB experience u have to install it. sure u can add some features to ICS like some little mem tweaks or getting a JB status bar by mod - BUT this WILL NEVER be A REAL JB experience, if u want to taste it, i advice u to test mikes Legacy Xperia cm10.1 newest nightly build

oh I see, I tried cyanogen mod 10, but they miss many things like the quality of the camera, xLOUD, bravia engine, smile detection, hd recording, etc. so I want to have the advantages of jelly bean in stock ics sony, to keep those benefits!

bro, they DON'T MISS THEM.
for camera: coplain to sony, they didnt rleased cam libs so we have no choice., & cant do much (as take what we had)
xloud & bravia engine are sony specific stuff, may some ppl say this are improvments other may see this as bloatware crap , even cm has its own soundmod the dsp manager which is not combatible with xloud & u can even turn it louder ...
hd recording is disabled bcuz its very buggy at JB (at ics tooo but bit more leess due to good libs), also we have 20mb more ram. there is a lupus kenel which ad 720p recording enabled, but if u make a vid with it u see the buggyness xD (useless when moving...)
this wahat u want is imposible. (both things) and will never be.
u have the choice:
buggy ICS, with many mods & stuffs
powerful JB, with less (oem) stuffs.

Questions about porting MIUI Camera to AOSP/CM12 (Helio x10 InstantFocus)

I am currently on CM12.1 (Daniels modded version) and like other AOSP(/CM) ROMs they all do work quite well, a big thanks to all devs for their efforts
But they also have a downside and that's the speed of the camera (no instantFocus, slow shutterspeed).
So my question is/are:
1) Is porting MIUI camera an option for a faster focus (and better shutterspeed)?
2) How is instantFocus implemented in MIUI?
Is it possible to unlock (helio x10's) instantFocus by copying the right camera libs (+MIUI camera-apk?)
[I am still a newbie in this world T_T maybe some pinpoints are also useful]

Looking for 4.1+ ROMs w/o hd/cam bugs & is swap compatible

o/ guise
New to all the custom ROMs for HTC ReZound, but its been a long time coming.
I'm hoping to see people respond with experience in using ROMs on this device.
What I'm looking for is a Custom ROM that enables me the use of these features:
*Android version 4.1 or above
*A fully working Camera app with no bugs what so ever. ( not the restart phone after 3 videos )
*Ability to stream HD content with no bugs as well. ( no issues with HD playback via youtube-netflix-pornhub lol )
*Access to create a swap file ( ROEHSOFT Memory Info & Swap / ROEHSOFT RAM Expander )
Now I know this phone is old but it still got lots of life in it and its a good phone! It has been a while so I'm sure there is ROMS out there that support all this. I just don't know where to begin to look.
So I'm looking for the experience from this wonderful community to help shine some light in my direction. Big Thanks to everyone here. with all the help and support!
closing using CM10.2/Snuzzo Kernel
