[Q] beats audio issue - HTC Desire X

i had read somewhere that beats audio in the desire x is only compatible in the stock music player and i was pretty fine till i tried winamp and now many a times i find beats audio on while am playing music on winamp though i find zero audio enhancement in winamp but still d output is pretty decent than the stock...
so is there a problem with winamp or beats audio on my desire x :silly:

i have not tried with winamp, but with play music (google music player download from market) there is the beast enhancer, and maybe it sounds better than stock music...

Using player pro and no problem with beats. Nice change when I enable it

the best media player for SGY in your opinion

hello every one....
I made this thread to see which is the best mp3 or songs player + equalizer in your opinion
trying to get rid of my Ipod and have better experience listning to songs and music on my SGY
all posts are highly appreciated
found mortoplayer on the market testing it
I liked the player of the sony android OS smart phones
I love to make statistics
for me, the important thing is the equalizer..you have to try dsp manager. it is really great
and the mp3 player, i'm currently using walkman mod
try stock player + lifevibes (musicfx)
or
poweramp + dps manager
Poweramp is the best of its kind
Poweramp and dsp manager are the best
GREEEEEETZ!!!
POWERAMP
POWERAMP is the best music software with equaliser!!
does not cost too much neither!!
which IEM eaarphones u using ?
Try poweramp its best

morto player
guys I tryed mortplayer with its widget .... not bad but need to be tested more
thanks for the suggestions
hope this post helped others.. and I well try the apps and mods you mentioned
thanks
Ics musics player of creed rom + dsp manager its my opinion
Playerpro!!!
Playerpro alone is best and need not any dsp manager... Another one stock music app(with 5.1 on) + musicfx for eq and bass boost is preety decent and produc high clarity due to 5.1 working on stock and musicfx boosting the Bass...
Power amp (bass+ treble) + volume+(rock/beats) is the perfect combo for bass lovers!

Poweramp + beats + xloud + DSP = megasuperduper awesomeness
poweramp is the first and only app i have ever purchased on google play, worth every cent
n7player with unlocker
Anyne need poweramp ics theme...?
Hit thanks if it helped

I love http://www.ttpod.com/
A personal choice would be N7Player.
-Good interface.
-Clean access to your playlists.
-Built-in equalizer.
-Compatible with headset controls.
-Sleep timer.
It also works well with sound mods(if you choose to install any).
You'll want to get the unlocked version, though.
i use real player for media purposes
great interface, easy, sexy and best in all media player series
for videos i choose mx player
it play upto 720p video and formats just like vlc for android
Mx video player.

Anyone know if S3 shows lyrics on stock app in MP3 files?

Coming from an iPhone and then onto a Sensation XE, I'm wondering if the S3 will show lyrics that are embedded into MP3 files as the iPhone did?
My XE doesn't show them in the stock app, and I can't get another app as then Beats audio doesn't work.
On the S3 I just prefer to use the stock app. Anyone know yet?
cheers
yes i saw a vid of an mp3 being played on the sgs3 default music player with the lyrics shown at the same time.
Beats Audio is just an EQ. Get volume+ from the market or DSP Manager and you can emulate it pretty well.

I hope so, this is a big feature I personally missed coming from iPhone. I spent ages tagging with lyrics then got my XE and they weren't there, in the stock app with beats I mean.
I've heard beasts is just an EQ, but when it's built in, I prefer to just use it with.stock player
Just to update many thread and mods can lock it if required that I now have an S3 and can confirm that lyrics do show if embedded in an MP3 file on the stock music player
Yes
Of course YEs
Yes it does,
It does display the lyrics in mp3 files.......
But it is better to use MusixMatch from the playstore as it automatically fetches the lyrics and saves it in your phone.

Evo 3d + ics = flac

Should be old news by now, but couldnt post till now,
Just a tip for everyone out is that the FLAC audio format for lossless music is now officially supported by ICS and the HTC Music app with or without BEATS. sounds awesome!
FLAC could be played before with PowerAMP or some 3rd Party app but now u can just dump your FLAC music easily. it sound great. better than a junkie iPod Any day!:good:
do you think evo's audio output is good enough to use flac?
Yes it is...with the proper headphones
i had my evo with jays ajays one and quality wasnt that good how i awaited
Man I have some beats headphones( didn't buy them, my cousin is a popular NFL player so he gets free crap all the time) and I listened to Going back to Cali by LL Cool J on Flac over my network with BS Player lite and I dang near chit myself. I didn't think music could sound that good. Sad though because now I'm on the hunt for FLAC everything.
with FLAC on the EVO 3D it does sound alot better, the better the headphones you have the more difference you will notice
I was hoping this would happen as I don't really want to purchase another 3rd party program just for lossless playback.
Been using poweramp in my car to play flac files over a fairly decent sound system for a year now, only problem is flac files are massive! Might have to get a 64 sd soon. Cool that the standard player has finally caught up

if u put any FLAC files on your SD card the "Music" app made by HTC that comes included on your phone will find them all and play them just like if they were MP3s. the Music app varies on different ICS ROMS in the Dev Forum, some have been modded to included Beats Audio, but even the "stock" HTC Music app, or the Google Play Music App should play FLAC Audio.
Try it! im sure it will work for you

[Q] WoW sound effects

I was listening to my music on WMA and i came across the enhancements. SRS WOW to be exact. After setting the WOW to max, i experienced such great sound i could barely believe it. i was wondering if there was some way to recreate this on my galaxy player
yes

There are several apps that affect sound quality:
Noozxoide is one
There's viper for android, I've been trying to get this to work on my SGP5 running pac-rom 4.3 but have had no luck. works on 4.2 though
There's also flashable zip files that you can try like ac!d audio, awesome beats, and pure audio, i've had no success with those myself.
Also depends on your audio player, theres noozy, neutron player, poweramp (my choice).

really good sound
dsp manager and apollo make by far the best sound for my music, I immediately noticed the difference, I downloaded other music players and by far nothing beats apollo and dsp manager and tbh I am not particularly fond of how apollo player works, i dont like the fact it doesnt have the ability to play music by folders and when you are searching for a particular song it wont give a drop down menu with pre-search matches like most other players do, it is clunky to make a 'play list' not really great for helping you search the song you need to find (specially when you got 10gigs of music in your sd card) but I just cant leave apollo+dsp player due to how amazing the sound quality is, and I know prob some musicians or sound experts out there can get better sound quality with other players that have the advanced features to tune different sounds but I am not a sound expert and I dont really know how to 'tune' this players to what I get out of the box with apollo+dsp manager.
Does anyone know of a player that syncs with dsp manager as well as apollo does, I tried a few but no cigar

Try Play music,,
Now I am using Viper4android with toggling between Play music and xperia walkmaan Music player... It is awesome..
Just buy a decent pair of in-ears (what I prefer) or buy good headphones.
Also it's a bit of a personal thing, others want more bass and less treble.. Also depends on what kind of music you listen.
Personally I like and have the Sennheiser CX-400 Precision, it produces a ''Lifelike Sound''. It all sounds really natural.
Also depends if you buy/download the song in ''Original state'' MP3 file in 320kbps or FLAC (around 1000kbps) or rip it from YouTube. Want to mention that you almost can't notice any difference between MP3 and FLAC when listening with normal speakers, with good headphones/in-ears you do but not a lot, but you can hear the sound is a bit more sharp.
The worst thing you can do is rip song from YouTube because it's already converted once while uploading it so audio quality isn't as good as the original copy, and then you are gonna rip it from YouTube and than it becomes again a bit worse, even if you convert it to 320kbps, it is already not a real 320kbps one anymore.
About the music players.. I'm stuck with Poweramp, with his features like cross-fade which you can set per ms, the themes you can apply for a nice KitKat/Jelly Bean or whatever you want interface, and the ability that you can long-press the song you're playing at the moment and get a pop-up of,
1) All the music from that specific artist.
2) The whole album of the relevant song you're playing.
3) The map where the file is in.
Good audio quality depends on multiple things.
Peace.

Yup most my music is either 192 or 320kbps just because I 'suffer' from real fine audio detection in my ears and it bugs the **** out of me when my music doesnt sound crisp and detailed with each instrument noticeable within the music. I call it 'suffering' because when I hear the fukin radio or some other low quality audio source (Pandora on low bandwith setting blaawhh).
So I immediately noticed when I played music through Apollo with the DSP manager in the settings I preferred. I have tried power amp, google play music, and many other players and equalizers in the Play Store and around the web (viper4android) and its just not the same for MY preference of audio. Granted I am not an audio engineer so it is prob me not knowing how to tune the different audio tools but for my low level audio exp Apollo+dsp manager in android kitkat has been by far my favorite.
