[Q] [ASKING] Korean Samsung Galaxy S III SHV-E210K USSD Code Running Problem - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Hello everyone!
I'm from Indonesia. I have this SHV-E210K for about 3 months, and it is stressful knowing that I can't check the balance credit. I have search in any forum, and whether it's in XDA or any forum, it's still don't have the answer.
I have read that in S1 I9000 you can just disabling mobile tracker and USSD code will work again. But in this time, it's different matter. I can't use the method from I9000..
There is known problem in my Galaxy S III SHV-E210K with JB 4.1.2 or before at ICS that USSD code won't work. I faced this problem for many days and was unable to use some GSM services like balance checking etc. Normally in other phone, I can check it with just dial *123#, now since I using SHV-E210K the code won't work, so I must change my USIM to other phone to registering the data package or check my phone balance etc.
Please some one help me! I really need this answer! :crying:

Hallo Senoir Member.. I know there is thread about SHV-E210K, but not the page like T-mobile or any SIII with its carrier, so looking the answer from the member from SHV-E210 forum is too hard. :'(

Try flashin another modem.. Fired from my ICS'd Galaxy S II
i am guessing your EFS folder is corrupt (nv_data.bin) If you have a backup of EFS, you should be ok, if not...you will need A LOT of help to restore. either way, you need to ask the question in the Q&A forum.

Well I am aware that Hardware is lil bit change but can this happens that I can use the custom roms of i9305 LTE ? [Q] sim card not detected in custom roms
Hi! I have installed 3rd custom rom that is based on galaxy s5 user interface and thus is the third time I am facing the same problem. Everything runs fine but this doesn't detect my sim card. First I flashed flashingdroid faced the same problem then i flashed efextreme lite v5.0, in this at first the camera wasn't working but solution for this problem was mentioned in the original thread itself. So I flashed the given kernel in the thread and the camera was fixed but again I lost my signals and it said that insert a sim card. Now I flashed hypermax v8 and again the problem is same, "Insert sim card". What can i do to fix this?? Please help!!!

Standard-question: is IMEI, shown in 'info', the same as on the label behind the battery?

Then don't focus on SIM-card but on restoring IMEI / efs-data. Read the recent posts over these items here 1st...

As you told me I did read the latest threads posted here but unfortunately I didn't find anything helpful. As it is I am not concerned with the original imei as far as my phone is working. Also it was working with efextreme v5.0 as mentioned above but after flashing the kernel given for fixing camera i lost the network. Earlier i was using cyanogemod 12 but due to lag and FC'S I had to change the rom. But it was working fine if you ignore the FC and lag however I don't have any idea about what my imei no. Was.
If you find calling and receiving calls belong to a working phone, you've to follow boomboomer's advices for restoring efs-data. Don't understand, why you don't find it, but there is no better.

ONE link is useless. Go one level higher to Q&A and enter 'restore efs' or 'restore IMEI' in 'Search this forum'. Then pick at first the short threads, which are answered by boomboomer. So you'll get an overview and solutions. (There are also long threads with witchy procedures and only little chance of success. Not very recommendable.)

I'd taken this to the service centre and they had reset the device and also did load a new firmware but the issue is not solved. I've lost hope.
