This would be heaven! main question is: do you think it will be possible to use it on CM as well? (I'm not talking about s-note, of course, just about the function!). Beside that: even if it's tw only, this mod is/will be great!

Re: [APP] SPen-Helper
Cm support would be great I miss this feature and choosing a custom app would be immensely great

By CM support if you mean CyanogenMod then thats gonna be kinda impossible

Touchwiz has a tweak which pops out the S-memo when S-pen is detached during phone calls. Will this app conflict with that tweak? I mean, S-memo loads faster than S-Note so it is better to load the S-memo when pen is detached during phones calls, and load S-Note when pen is detached otherwise
If can integrate with Tasker, i am willing to pay for that. Please

I tried it with the popup S-memo, when the pen is detached the popup note is on top always. And regarding the tasker integration I'll mostly integrate it by next week. No need to pay i need it too.

Dammit! Anyways, looking forward for the app-definition...I would love to see e.g. papyrus popping up instead of s-note, even if it will only will be the main program!

Could this process be used with an app other than s-note say maybe Write?

About to test, will be back with an edit. I use a different note app, so this appeals to me!
Worked!!! Thank you.
Only feedback is the app selector, sorted by full package name is kind of annoying, perhaps options for sorting by proper app names? And widgets shouldn't show, also some icons are insanely large taking up full pages. But, those are minor, the app does the trick, and in that regards it is a winner and a keeper!

v0.21 out with more fixes :good:

I noticed you said you wanted to work on an alarm for when the pen is detached. You don't have to do that. It's an S Pen setting, not a TW option. I get the alarm, both audio and popup notification in Nova Launcher.
Request: Do you think you can make it close when the pen is inserted?
ruk212: I just used it on Jedi XX ROM and it's working fine.

For me the alarm doesn't work on nova launcher.... I'll try it again today
And the application closing on attaching the pen again I'll work on it

v0.23 out ...now runs properly in background no need to keep application open

Thanks. Working like a charm :good:

The Alliance Team is proud to present AllianceROM for the AT&T Note 3. This is the most customizeable ROM available for ANY device. Millions of different on the fly theming options, more so than any AOSP based ROM. If you are tired of having to choose an xposed module and reboot only to see the effect isn't quite what you like, then I challenge you to try this.

I do this because I love doing this, not because I am trying to make money. I have a career in the petroleum industry, this is just a hobby. There has been many countless hours put into this project by more people than just me. This being said, I will NEVER ask for a donation, but they are always appreciated. If you like this project and would like to contribute in a different way, I always need testers. Also, clicking the thanks button works just as well :good:
New install instructions:
1) Download ROM zip and verify MD5 sum, place on your internal or external SDCard, it doesn't matter which.
2) Make any backups you need with Titanium Backup or whatever you use while this is downloading
3) Also make sure that you are on latest KK SafeStrap (version 3.72) AND you are on ROOTED NC2 Firmware
4) Boot into Safestrap Recovery via app or hard reboot
5) While in Safestrap first choose "Boot Options" And Then Select "Stock ROM". Activate it. If you are already on the Stock ROM Slot and it is activated AND YOU HAVE A BACKUP, or if you ALREADY have a stock backup move on to Step 7.
6) Click the back button on the bottom right to get back to the main screen, and then choose "Backup". You will want to make sure all 3 partitions are selected to backup. You can choose internal or external sdcards (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING THE EXTERNAL) by clicking Where it says "Storage: xxx SDCard (xxxx MB)" towards the middle of the screen. Choose where you want to create the nandroid (backup) and select "OK." Now just swipe to make the backup. Once the nandroid is done continue on to step 7.
7) Back out to the main screen using the back button in the lower right corner of the screen. The letters at the top should be in red and say "ROM Slot: stock"
8) Now choose "Wipe" and it should pop up the wipe screen. It should say "Factory Reset" and on the next line "Wipes Data, Cache, and Dalvik (not including internal storage). If it doesn't, hit the back button, if it takes you back to the main screen, go back to "Wipe" until you see this message. Now just swipe to Factory Reset.
9) Now you should have a clean stock partition that is ready to have your ROM flashed. Hit the back button until you are back at the main screen, and now you will choose "Install."
10) Now find the ROM zip, you placed on your phone, either on internal or external SDCard and install the ROM. Once the ROM is flashed, you should reboot the device.
***Note***
Now that you have made a backup, if for whatever reason you want to go back to that ROM on the stock slot, you can boot back into recovery, and choose the "Restore" button and restore the backup to the Stock slot.Download:

I get the same issue with WIFI. I had to reenter the password to connect to the WIFI after a reboot.
Also, for those in the family who are trying 4.4 for the first time. With the s5 settings that RErick used, you have to change the view of the main settings page to List View in order to see the options to change the default font and font size in the display settings. Just an fyi.

xMIUI - Xposed module for MIUI 7-8 tweaking

Hello,
there is Xposed module for MIUI 7 & MIUI 8 tweaking.
Features:
- Customize grid columns and rows in launcher
- Customize launcher icons size, labels, hotseat labels
- Customize number of columns on open folder
- Customize recent tasks animation
- Customize notification icons like AOSP icons
- Flexible customization of icons in status bar (positions, size and so on)
- Allows display notifications text in status bar
- Allows to expand notifications by clicking it

- Allows to answer incoming call by placing phone closely to ear
- Allows to switch audio route from ear-speaker to speaker by proximity sensor

- Customize volume settings
and many other...
Reasonable proposals for implementing in module are highly appreciated!
Specially for this we created project page on Idea Informer service!
Take an active part in the development of the module!
But please, don't write something like "Make all/some feature from program_name".
Instead please write in details what exactly you offer and how it must working. Attach screenshots or pictures that may be useful to understanding what you want and so on.

Can you add home button on/off phone call
and maybe something to re-enable blur effect on noitifcation panel in miui 8?
Or fullscreen notification panel in miui 8 in landscape mode?
Or customize color of weather change in status bar color miui8
Please add all the options in miui tweaks module. If those options are also there in it, it will be a perfect module for miui rom.
Can you add an option to remove blue effect in notification panel of miui7? Or make an option to create the same blur in navigation bar as well when notification panel is slided down. Because when i activate navigation buttons i get blurred notifiction panel & non blurred navigation bar, looks ugly.
As well as can you add an option to remove in call ui blur? Miui tweaks has this option but it doesn't appear in my list.

Great!
Can you make the same module for MIUI 8? Some settings work but most doesn't, like, "Notifications Volume" (soft reboots the device).
Also, add an option for "PIN modifier" (like offset by XX value) when using current time as PIN. Thanks!
we will considered all your request..

Explain please more detailed, I don't quite understand what you mean.
Also I want add "Shuffle PIN keypad" option to randomly change positions of numbers buttons.
For example, by default keypad looks as:
Code:
1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9
0
But when this option will be enabled keypad each time will be randomly shuffled, for example:
Code:
0 8 4
9 3 1
5 2 6
7
and so on...

There's an option "Pin with time" in your module which makes the current time as your PIN. What i meant was, add an option to modify the pin by an offset.
For example, lets say the time is 19:10, if i offset it by -10, the PIN will be 1900, by +10 it'll be 1920 and so on. So the PIN will be current time +/- offset.
I am already using this feature using "ProtectedApps" module. But it'll be great if you can add it.

That's one more awesome mod!
I have a few more suggestions.
1. Expand Notifications by default (notifications will always be expanded)
2. Extended reboot menu (reboot to recovery, fastboot etc)
Also, is it possible to arrange the apps by name in the default MIUI launcher? If it is, then an option for that too.
Thanks!

Now it works exactly as you describe above except that negative value can't be used.
Now (with enabled option), if you set PIN to "0000" then "real PIN" will be exactly current time.
If you set PIN to "0010" then "real PIN" will be current time +10 and so on.
So, as I said exactly what you ask except "negative offset".

[Open Beta] [Chinese only] New update available for Beta

Just got a notification for an OTA update.
Can anyone translate these screenshots attached?
First screenshot from the left says a dual clock is added which supports multiple time zones (probably something to do with a widget) and improved weather. Second screenshot says smart home support is added. Also something to do with sliding up the phone to turn on the phone (I'm not so sure what it means). The bottom just tells you the update history (lisiting the new features already added).

EMUI 10 Missing Features

I received Emui 10, it's really great, good looking and so, but, there are still major and minor features that could make Emui awesome.
I made a little list of what I would really love to see :
● Smart reply
● Change accent color
● Navigate in music notification from lockscreen
● Switch apps by swiping left or right from the bottom of the screen
● Quicksetting tile for : Dark mode, reverse wireless charging, battery saver
● Swipe down to access notification panel ( maybe implement swiping down from the edges )
● Schedule Dark mode ( + auto switching wallpapers for light and Dark )
● Force Dark mode in every apps
● Personalisation for AOD and Fingerprint look and animation
● Change the way of activating google assistant from the edges because it's conflicting with the one handed mode
● Get the little pop up for the auto rotate activation when it's off
I have missed a lot I think, reply with yours ?
I am sorry to break it to you, but they won't bother adding majority of the features you mentioned above.
However I would too love to see these features.
I have only one feature request:
-Better 3rd party launcher support.

Yeah I know, but some of them are just Android 10 features that are missing , and that's what I really want, the others are just dream fonctionnalities that would make Emui really great
I will add to your list the Full Rotation meaning landscape even from the home screen (I have had a Sony XZ1 before and it was available from stock).
A big miss for me
I think because its beta thats why
Just received First patch of the beta for Emui 10, they added a dark mode Quick settings , that's one tick in the list haha
I missed the Google like navigation gestures.
Some of the features were already announced and they are missing. Best example colorfull AOD
I would like to see the option of turning off the AOD notification for the fingerprint entirely, as you can with the S10 line. I don't like the way it flashes every time you move your phone and I basically know where my finger needs to go anyway.
Camera zoom (really?) via volume keys, more customizable settings like 16:9 resolution
Yes there is no clock style options in AOD..
