Fulmix ROM Settings and Mobile Data issues - HTC Desire X

Gentlemen,
Recently I tried the Fulmix ROM, installed as excellently described here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2131511 (where I not yet can post).
My phone experiences the same issue as user "hautsi" (on page 3 on above thread) : When trying to personalize the phone, I only get "Unfortunately, the process com.android.settings has stopped".
I also noticed I do not get mobile data network. Provider is Sunrise in Switzerland.
Fulmix looks promising, nice features I have found
Cheers

It's a senseless ROM, so you do not need this option, is only for Sense.
Can you give more information about mobile network?

[Q] how to remove network settings?

Hello,
I have a problem with my home network since some day. When I'm trying another networks everything is working fine. Using my home wifi I have a problem with very slow connecting to web (browser, weather, youtube...)... I tried to do "forget network" and to add back current network, but I don't know if it is sufficient. How can I delete all settings for each network saved in my phone?
Thank you

A safe way to remove all network settings is to do a factory reset/wipe data or a hard reset of the phone.
But you will lose all settings, apps, data, etc.
If you only want to reset the network settings, try to clear data from all network/wifi apps in Settings menu => Applications => Manage applications => All apps => ...
Good luck !
maybe its an interference issue in your home wifi router... try this... install wifi analyzer from market... see if any other wifi nearby is in the same channel as yours...
if there's another one (maybe neighbours)... changing channel might solve the issue..
Hi,
I tried hard reset. Still the same. After that I tried wi-fi analyzer, I found several wireless networks at same channel like was mine in that time = 1 (router is set on auto). I set channel to different = 13 - but nothing changed.... It is incomprehensible for me....

Its WiFi settings not network so try flashing a different modem .
If that does not work its your WiFi/Router at fault or its settings .
You make no mention of your firmware but you could try an upgrade to a later firmware .

Enable 3G/LTE Toggle?

Anyone know how to toggle 3g now? I would like to use it as default and only enable LTE when needed because the battery drain is crazy for LTE. However, as we all known, the dropdown 3g toggle is not there. I see an access point menu but whenever I select EHRPD the phone remains on 4G. Is there a way to get the EHRPD selection to "stick" or is there another way to solve this?

depends on what your running, and what provider you have. Most cases can be fixed with a LTE toggle app from the market. This doesn't work with Verizon on stock rom (last time I checked). However, I have Verizon with Note II running liquidsmooth android 4.2.2, and for me it's as simple as setting CDMA/EVDO under settings > wireless & networks > More... > mobile networks > network mode

Okay. I am using Jelly'Beans' rom for Verizon's Note II. But the toggle for CDMA is removed in there. So should I ask for it in that thread?

I've been using this app for about 2 months now without any problems, up until about 2 weeks ago. Now if I'm in default LTE mode, my laptop and tablet can connect to the hotspot, but I can't open a webpage in Firefox on either device, it just times out. I've verified that Firefox on my phone can access them. Also, I can open a cmd prompt on the laptop and get successful pings on google.com, but it still times out on the laptop or tablet.
If I reboot the phone to be on CDMA/EVDO then everything works fine, just slower. I'm on Sprint. I sent an email to the developer, and he stated he didn't think it was a problem in the app itself but advised me to check the APN settings. I can't seem to locate them on this phone.
Anyone else having this problem, or have any suggestions?
Thanks.

Didn't change anything. Re-reading my original post, I realize I wasn't clear on a point:
I can ping google.com and get replies from a command prompt on my laptop when I'm attached to the wifi router and the phone is in LTE mode, but my web browser (firefox) will not display the google home page. If I select CDMA mode on the phone, then I can get to google from firefox.
Since I'm getting ping replies, I doubt DNS is the culprit. Seems like it's something with port 80. I'm starting to think Sprint did something to block the app on the LTE network.
Just to check, I reset my phone to factory default and re-installed the app. Same results.
Anyone else having problems with this while on LTE?
Thanks.

I contacted the developer Fabio, and he thinks I need to change some settings in the APN IPV4 protocol. Problem is, I can't seem to find where to change the settings on this phone. They should be in settings>connections>more networks>mobile networks, but the options are not on that screen. I'm really starting to regret getting this phone. I love the phone itself, but Sprint did a few things to "dumb down" the ROM that just plain piss me off. OK, I get they took out native tethering so they could sell that option. I don't like it, but at least it makes some kind of sense. They also took out the option in contacts to send a incoming call from a given contact straight to voicemail. That just makes no sense whatsoever. Also, I don't like there are no custom ROMs for this phone. If I could get this phone with a plain vanilla Android without all the Sprint mods, I'd be in heaven.
Anyway, does ANYONE have Wifi Tethering working on this phone (LPH-600) with Sprint and LTE?

[Q] Xperia ray- Mobile Data issue

I've installed CyanogenMod 10 (NIGHTLY) in my Sony Xperia Ray (ST18i). Everything works fine except Mobile Data.
When I turn Mobile Data on, this error message appears for few seconds:
"Unable to resolve host "get.cm". No address associated with hostname".
At the same time, on the status bar, i can see 3G and then H connection icon, before they both disappear. So only Wifi connection works. My APN seems correctly configured.
I've also tried different basebands (85 and 86), but no results.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Thanks to all in advance, and sorry for my poor english

I think it is some issue with your network and/or simcard.
Have you tried using this sim in some other phone?
If this problem does not exist on other devices, you might need to reflash the ROM after clearing the data & cache.

Mobile data does not work with the same simcard in other devices. So this problem has to be related to my simcard and/or network. Thank you for this suggestion.

Question WiFi Connectivity Issues (Both 2.4 & 5)

Hey everyone, hope you all are well!
I am having issues with maintaining a Wi-Fi connection with the device. Randomly, I will see that the phone is connected to the AP but has a message "connected to device but no internet" right below the SSID or that anything that needs to pull data becomes extremely slow/doesn't load. No other devices on my network does this and after playing with a few settings on the phone itself I still have no idea why this is happening. This is with a Pixel 6 256 GB model.
Devices that are make up my LAN:
OPNsense 21.7.5 (Gateway, DHCP Server (IPV6 is disabled))
PiHole v5.6 (DNS)
DDWRT v3.0-r47618 (Running on Linksys WRT-1900 ACS V2, this is configured in ROUTER mode, DHCP+DNS+NTP+IPV6 all disabled)
Things that I have tried:
1) Tried disabling Adaptive Connectivity, as well as under the AP there is the Privacy setting to use random MAC, I set it to use device MAC
2) Restarting my LAN devices + made sure they are all up to date
3) Due to phone pulling from old phone during initial setup, I remove all APs that were saved and reconnected manually
4) Trying the Pixel 6 on another AP (Connectivity was stable no issues, AP was a public AP at work)
5) In phone's reset options, there is an option to reset all network settings
6) Full reset of phone through reset option and manually setting phone up instead of copying from old phone.
If anyone else might have any idea as to what I could do or try, hell if there is even a way to capture what is happening, please let me know.
One more thing that I ran into, there are other users out there that have an option under Network Preference "Switch to mobile data automatically". I purchased this phone directly from Google, so it should be unlocked, but I don't see that option under my Network Preference.
Thank you in advance!

It's in the Developer options
Small update, I have reconfigured my wireless and am still having issues with the Pixel 6 dropping randomly.
DDWRT settings for the 5 GHz network have been updated, the device has been rebooted. Screenshot of settings in attachment. Also attached are screenshots from the pixel 6.
There is a screenshot with AP info for the 5 GHz, in this screenshot at the bottom you can see both my interfaces and all the connected wireless device. The MAC address with the red is the Pixel 6. The Blue is my OP 6.
