As CM10.1 has hit the general release, Avatar Team is branching with stable and nightly releases.
Stable releases are marked as 3.0. This is the first stable release from Avatar Team. Stable releases will be weekly or bi-weekly and will be tested extensively by our testing team.
Nightly releases will kickstart in a few days. We will merge CM changes every day and it will also contain experiemental features from Avatar.
We highly recommend to wipe cache/data/dalvik before flashing the stable releases.

Strange for me get status 7 error when runn as I ing from cmw. I can see that the assert error at model numbers. I have the latest mb3 stock with cmw and root. I did factory wipe and reset in cmw before flashing. I don't think it was a bad Download. I'm back using my nandroid.
Re-downloaded and tried with the same results. Anyone has any idea what is wrong?

Personally I think that stock samsung skinned rom is the one for me... Try it for yourself I likes it's theming capabilities

link you provide is useless. It gets to 30gb then the link drops. I have now tried this a dozen times over a couple of days and I have never got beyond 30gb before the link disappears.

The Avatar Team is proud to present the first beta release of weebo app. It is a Tasker like application which can automate tasks for your phone.
The application comes with pre-defined set of 20 common rules but you can add your own rules in sdcard (/mnt/sdcard/weebo) and it will be automatically picked up by the application. To activate a rule, click on the corresponding rule (rule will get highlighted)
The rules are simple XML files and you can find more info here.

I like CM and I could go with that but they won't include the stylus apps and if it's having a 7015 without the stylus one might as well keep an SG3...

Dos you read the op? It clearly says the rom is based on CM and therefore won't have Samsung apps.

Well, thanks for the reply but "based on" for me doesn't mean "has the same limitations than"....
It could be based on CM but also include the interesting hardware specifications of the 7105....
Basically if you use CM what is the difference between your 7105 and an SG3 if you don't use the stylus ?
I don't know if it is technically feasible to include samsung apps for 412 on 422 roms but if it is not then I'll stick with 412 roms because for me the stylus is a VERY big difference between 7105 and SG3....

I have a problem with installation. While installing, some messages running through the screen and then stops with status 7. I'm installing from 4.1.2 samsung base.
Any ideas?

Did you do a wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache. Also do a wipe on dalvik cache.

i have tried to install it too.. status 7 error.. any ideas... wiped data/factory reset, wiped cache partition, wiped devlik cache also... no luck at alll....

What is kernel? need Dorimanx or Syah. At kernel Philz I had error 7, after installing Dorimanx kernel, the installation was successful.

For all coming from stock Sammy ROM, 1st you need to install different kernel, like Siyah (v4 or v5) or Dorimanx, for an example, trought CWM or with Odin Mobile, than full wipe and you won't get error 7 before installation! Cheerz!

As CM10.1 has hit the general release, Avatar Team is branching with stable and nightly releases.
Stable releases are marked as 3.0. This is the first stable release from Avatar Team. Stable releases will be weekly or bi-weekly and will be tested extensively by our testing team.
Nightly releases will kickstart in a few days. We will merge CM changes every day and it will also contain experimental features from Avatar.
We highly recommend to wipe cache/data/dalvik before flashing the stable releases.

This is for people coming from which kernel? Is it kexec, so any kernel? Or off of ICS? Also, must it be flashed in slot 1 in as v 3.11? Or any slot?

How would I go about theming the lock screen I don't see a option for it.. I know on miui you can change theme settings for different parts of phone but I don't see that here

Yes, it's kexec, you can flash it over any Kernel
Edit: There are 2 threads with this ROM, I suggest to OP that send a PM to any mod and ask to close this one...

There're 2 different Devices > CDMA/GSM.
In my opinion it was an good idea to seperate the Roms (Spyder/Umts_Spyder).

im a bit lost with miui/cm roms
I was previously on 4.1.2 leak and switch to my stock rom, wasnt thinking and got the ota for official 4.1.2, lost the main rom i was using... this ROM looks well put together but have never on a phone only tablet switched kernals etc, is it the same? I use ssv3 and am rooted, currently only have stock rom slot.
so basic steps for this would be?
create rom slot 1
clear dav/cache etc
install this rom
install kernal
install gapps?
sorry i feel lost switching to miui and cm based rom, have always used eclipse roms and tried a few others like jellywiz.

Create rom slot 1 activate it then wipe cache, dalvik, factory and system. I think those are the group of 4 in ss. Then install rom and gapps and you are good to go man.

Been running this Rom for the last couple days. Absolutely amazing Rom. By far my favorite Rom now. Fast, quick, lightweight. Hopefully over time, it wont slow down.
The only trouble I had was installing the Gapps for it. Even the Avatar Updater showed a recent updated Gapps and it too didnt installed. Overall its not a huge problem, just went to the store and downloaded the applications that I needed.
Is there a way to update to this version of the Rom without doing a complete wipe?

As CM10.1 has hit the general release, Avatar Team is branching with stable and nightly releases.
Stable releases are marked as 3.0. This is the first stable release from Avatar Team. Stable releases will be weekly or bi-weekly and will be tested extensively by our testing team.
Nightly releases will kickstart in a few days. We will merge CM changes every day and it will also contain experiemental features from Avatar.
We highly recommend to wipe cache/data/dalvik before flashing the stable releases.

Yes. We merge CM changes every week and it is almost equal to CM nightly builds.
Eg: The latest version has CM changes upto Mar 22nd.

if it is on cm10.1 it is kexec so your kernel which you actually have installed does not matter, only enable kexec if it works through bmm

Nightly releases will kickstart in a few days. We will merge CM changes every day and it will also contain experimental features from Avatar.

Yep. Our bootloader isn't unlocked yet. Any custom rom will brick it.

ahh first i never got what what was orignal or normal was like wtf.
but original is now stock android
and normal is a costum stock rom. (where i'm still waiting for i like stock rom but can have some improvements)

Great news. Finally Avatar team saw L9 too after Optimus 2x, for implementing Avatar Theme and Mods. Thanks.
@All, This is based on CM10.1 with its own bugs and issues, yet to be sorted out. I will wait for stable release of CM10.1 and then will think of flash it.
PS: In fact this themed and modded rom did not work well on my Optimus 2X. Just few hours before flashed amazing custom tweaked flexicer 4.7 stock by civato on O2X. Yes, O2X is still is use by family member.

Make sure you go thru the android dev section on the p76910g on whats available and not available for the phone. Ty for trying tho. U basically told me not to do it lol usually google play store has app for theming ur phone in case u are worried about flashing/bricking

I was able to get my phone back from the soft brick and will look for themes in google play. Thank you..

It should work without wiping data if you are coming from previous version of avatarrom.
