Hello,
I recently installed a CM10.1 based rom, but i realized that none of the music players available sounded like the one that comes with the stock touchwiz.
I extracted it from system/app from a touchwiz rom, and pasted it to system/app in the CM10.1 rom, but it gives me fc.
Can someone please share the MusicPlayer.apk and the odex file please? I think the odex file is the one i'm missing for the player to work correctly.

Touchwiz music player will not work on cm. Cm is also deodexed so no use for an odex file.

Where can I find the default video and music player for Galaxy/Vibrant? I have updated to CM nightlies and those players are gone.
Open the zip of downloaded rom that has them then extract the .apk from system/app

took the music from galaxy extreme and bi-winning, they might be the same but have different names so dont know which is right if either are
i think the video's right, it was the same in both
just give them a try

You want it deodexed or odexed?
What Rom are you using? Fully stock(Odexed), or deodexed?
Are you using a kernel with CWM, so you can flash it as a zip or you just want to place it using a file explorer like rootexplorer? I guess you have root, because you were able to delete it, so you must be using CF Root kernel, but I just want to be sure...

thanks for the files! sorry i'm very noob at this. i followed a idiot proof youtube video to root the S3. i did google odex and yes, mine is stock version.
not sure about kernels and cwms though. did a google search and got a headache reading the info.
can i just copy the .apk and .odex into /system/apps and run the .apk?
UPDATE:
troubleshooting paid off. i just copied the .odex and .apk into /system/apps and restarted the phone. works fine now.

I've been looking for a way to install the S3 weather Widget onto my Note I717. I'm currently using UCLF6 (official ICS) rooted, but I cant find anything. A CWM zip would be awesome. I tried extracting the apk file from a custom rom and pasting it into my /App folder but it would crash when I tried pasting the file. Any help or info would be awesome!

Try this, it applies most of the GS3 stuff to the Note.

Thanks for the replys, I would really like to stay on the stock Rom (Not use Goldie) but I would like to use the S3 Widget. I did find a post that flashed the S3 touchwiz but it wasn't for the Note I believe it was for the SGS2. Not sure if it would work, I guess I could Nandroid backup and reflash it and see if it works.....when I attempt it i'll let you all know. If I could extract the S3 touchwiz and widgets from a custom rom like "objection" or "Goldie" I would..but I just dont know how. As I said before I extracted the Weather/Clock Widget from the custom objection rom and placed it in the /system/app folder and rebooted but it didn't show up in the Widget selection....if theres a step i'm missing i'd gladly listen to suggestions. Maybe adding a file to the /lib folder or something? I'm willing to try anything. Thanks again for your responses.
I took Asus weather widget realized from the hybrid rom and use it on pretty much every other rom. The way I did it is download zip and extract it. Go to /system/app/ and look for the widget apk. Copy and paste it to /system/app/ and set permission to rw-r--r-- and check the drawer for the widget. I don't know if that helps or not.

I apologize if this has been answered. I've searched in the i717 forums but can't seem to find a straight answer. I'm using flappjaxx's latest with the touchwiz ux launcher (flashed through the OTA tool). I'd like the accuweather widget as well from the S3. Is this available to us? If so, can someone give me a link to one that works? thanks!

Will it work on aokp ics?
I use this some time ago on my SGS and after buy Sony Xperia U test this on stock rom and works.

Can someone who is running stock rom upload the stock ui sounds for the LGOG? they are the ones that end in .ogg and are located in the system/media/audio/ui folder.
I am running a custom rom but miss the stock keyboard sounds among others. thanks in advance!
