i have come across this problem through being a pure wp7 noob , i had a tango rom n didnt lie it so i flashed a mango one but now i cant use my sd card.
any help guys? im sure many people need to know this info too.

when you flash an wp7 rom with one sdcard, that sdcard works only with the flashed rom!
if you wanna make it work flash again the rom and keep the sdcard inside phone

i tried this method but it still said my memory card is corrupted with the original rom used with the sd card.
should i put sd in and hard reset with a warm boot>cold boot and it should fix?

switch off phone remove for a few seconds the battery and press power button to release all the charge from phone then, put batterry back and try to press camera + vol up + vol down + power; keep them pressed or try cold boot .... save, or both, if none of these does not helping you it means that the card is broken
P.s.
I still insist to do again to reflash it, 'cause i had the same problem, was telling me that the sd card is corrupted and after i reflashed my prob. was solved ( if this helps you and i hope it will i used QPST to flash ) Cheers!

I have a 32gb 10th class SD card on my SIII and a big problem with it. Gallery doesnt show my pictures (only 1 folder of 5) and music (I can play it but it crashes few times on song).
I can see everything whats in it on pc and any mobile explorers, but not on gallery.
Looks like it only shows me about 500mb of what is in SD Card.
I use Omega v18, but any other ROM's acts the same, even stock.
I used to have 4gb card before and it was ok.
Formated it multiple times in all possible systems: NTFS; FAT32; exFAT
Is there anything else i can do?
Update:
Put that SD Card on other Samsung Phone (Not rooted) and it was ok. Showed everything.
Does it mean that i have to get my phone to warranty?

Copy everything you want to keep and reformat the sdcard in FAT32, that`s all you can do imo.

Tried that lots of times.
I just cant get it, is it phones problem than? Can it be that it only capable to read not more than 500mb?

Don`t think that should be a problem. Can you see all the files that are on the sdcard on your pc?

Triangle Away reset rom counter Flash stock rom or original rom via Odin factory reset and it should be 100% clear for warranty .

Unroot it first, go to the CF-Root thread and download Triangle Away, install it on your phone and reset the counter within the app. Than flash a stock rom from www.sammobile.com/firmware and download the rom of your country/region. Flash it with Odin v3 3.0.4 and after it is installed and rebooted perform a data/factory reset in backup and restore. See items 2 and 3 on from where and how to flash stock firmware. Good luck mate

Uupp, I know how to unroot phone, but there is no stock on the internet for my carrier or location :/ i guess i should of checked before rooting it.
Had the same issues myself.
Found out that the phone doesn't work with a Class 6 SD card, but works perfectly with a class 4.
So worth checking your SD card.

Yes, and oficial s3 card is class 10
i own a galaxy s3 and i have a problem: i cannot download files from the browser. for example, is this restaurant where i order pizza, they have a .pdf menu that you can download. i click on it and it says download unsuccessful. in download manager it says not enough space (i have over 23 gb free space...). i googled it and i found something related to lucky patcher but i don't even know what that is because it isn't installed on my phone. i had insertcoin rom installed, now i have daky. the same problem occured on both roms. Please, can someone help me to repair my phone? it's so awkward to have such a device and to be unable to download a 1MB file from the internet...
I had the same problem it ended up that in the browser setting it was set up to download to sd instead of device and I somehow corrupted my SD card you might have the same problem try move a folder to your SD card and if it says failed then you will have to move all data on SD to internal or a PC and format the SD card then it will be OK that's what happened to me .... if you need any help pm me good luck

i realise now that you are right. my card was making problems, i removed it and it seems to be better now . thank you for the fast answer.

The browser... it always says "download unsucessful, not enuff space"and even when I format mem card with the fone

Its been so frustrating... i've just tried changing browser storage to device memory but I still cant dowload... and moving a file

maybe you encrypted the sd , and when you formatted it the encrypt key was deleted , i'm sorry to tell you if that is true , you just lost your mem card
and try using your mobile specfic forum , as alot of members aren't that friendly here , and the forums rules are strict :good:

Thank you for your explanation above.
Please be patient with me as I am new to Android, having migrated from iPhone to galaxy s3.
I have been trying to download a .doc from the Internet. I tested my iphone, downloads in seconds and opens a open with box. Trying this file on the galaxy and it takes ages to supposedly download which shows as unsuccessful. Repeatedly.
Things I have tried:
Going into security and ticking the unknown sources check box to hopefully allow downloads from Internet - to no avail
I want to try the SD issue but I don't know the process to change the default download to settings.
Things to note
the file is super small
I don't have a SIM in
Connected to wifi - reliable
I am grateful for any help

what do you mean?
At a guess you are flashing Aosp Roms and ending up with a sd/0/0/0 etc situation, so it pays to wipe sd card if you keep flashing so you just end up with the initial sd/0 situation where the files are easily retrievable, it's a pain in the ass basically!

What you can also do is just move contents of sd/0 to sd

I knew it was still there as when I restore back to stock the files are there and in recovery I could see the the full list of folders

with 4.2 rom like CM10.1 your sdcard is mounted in a diferently way because of multiuser functionality. So, you could access your things somewhere in /mnt if you have root and move them to the new sdcard mount point
In 4.2 sdcard/0 becomes your sdcard/, you can't access the root of the storage

so i decided to make the jump and used chainfires root it all worked but when it booted up alot of my apps were missing im using nova launcher and now i get constant errors google play wont open lots of downloaded apps completely fail to open not sure how to fix please help

i found a sd card to put in my phone but i dont have a way to flash the stock firmware because i have no way of accessing the sd card from my computer twrp adb sideload dont seem to work

this isnt making any sense i keep trying but it wont find it i guess im confused on how to flash it since its not a zip file its a backup i tried the whole 7zip files but twrp didnt find it am i supposed to transfer it all into a zip folder and it should work because it says u gota put it in twrp folder then backups then theres a serial folder then u restore but my sd card is being retarded and it wont let me create that folder

How do you Formatted memory card?
must be 32gb or 64gb Sandisk Orginal memory card needed!
Format your memory card exfat system!
Write Dump file with this
when finished put the memory card in phone
Hold Vol up button and connect with pc.
Phone must be appear download mode

Dear @facebook.com i have the same problem i have LG901 TMobile variant, i was trying to root the phone with stock firmware but end up bricking it, if i try it with SD card will my phone boot up? if yes, can you provide me KDZ file which i should flash from Download Mode?

T mobile v10 5.1.1 kdz file is not available rather new update mm v20e, v20j and v20l is available in kdz file for t mobile v10.

I have used 64gb Samsung class 10 card...
Wel not sure about formatting file system. Will give it another try after fresh format...

Follow my procedure phone will become Download mode
When phone Entered Download mode flash with this firmware

i used sandisk original it worked with me!
But you should try with samsung memory card with low format exfat!
i though it would be work with you!

is it on root of sd card or inside a folder named image .
mine is not on root of card but inside folder name image
I have 64GB card but it isn't Samsung EVO or Sandisk, i researched there's a software called QFIL, should i try the dump file with QFIL?

Can you share full guide as i am new to v10 i have used G3 ..PM me guide so i try on my brick v10
