I am currently running CM9. But, am facing a few issues. So, was thinking of going back to stock ROM for a while. I love the AOSP look and love the CM9 dialer.
Almost all the stock based themed ROM's are having a themed stock dialer.
[ which doesn't even have contacts list inside, it is very annoying !! ]..
Some ROM's, I see are having AOSP dialler, but it doesn't have the CM9 functionalities, in particular Smart T9 dialler.
In addition, the stock call animation is present. [v.v.ugly].
The AOSP / CM9 call animation is so much better.
Sorry, if this feels as if I am hating on touchwiz, but take this as my opinion and not a fact. [ I love some touchwiz features, which I am not getting in CM9].
I know that earlier the Resurrection ROM was having CM9 dialer, but westcrip seems to have moved on to AOKP ..
So, please help me find out any ICS themed stock ROM, with CM9 dialer like functionality.
this is not a ROM suggestion but...
You can try an app called exDialer and download the ICS theme for it. It looks a lot like the CM9 dialer and has the T9 dialer.

Thanks for the suggestion. But, I prefer using the stock one instead of third party applications. [ Have seen that the stock application , keeps on using the memory, under the system application, and I understand that it is a bigger problem on my older phone, SGS, which had .v.little memory. ]
But still would prefer the stock.

It would be nice, given that you can make good speedy roms, if you could make a final version of miui for GB. The versions out there are abandoned and left with bugs which are fixed by now, since what most people complain about in gb is the graphic UI a good miui rom would be the bomb..
There's plenty of ics roms and jb ones still have major bugs, and tbh gb is not that outdated for our devices...
Maybe you could add serajr's Xperia GX Home Launcher? :cyclops:

Really glad to hear that. I have tried almost all the roms our there. My request is please don't add any launcher like u added on ur unlimited rom. Kind;y please make it with original system UI and icons of ICS or JB. and with rom control obviously thanks in advance

I would love to have the following..
Option for sound mod and launcher in Aroma. Reason for the launcher option is that from example I'm using Nova launcher, and when I run a rom with modded launchers, I keep getting forced closes on the home launcher. Which means I need to freeze it. Would be great not to have to do that.
Supercharged and patched with the LED fix. Add Geeky engine, if it doesn't conflict with supercharger?

I think u should mod it to look like JB ... with option to flash Google Now in aroma as well... cz I've seen soooo many ICS based ROMs that look like JB including font and animation and notification panel style etc for arc S...but we don't have any here... so I think that would make your ROM unique!
Best of luck! N try with xperia S home if u can't get xperia GX to work .. they look almost same right..

Would be pretty good if you can try making one JB ROM
this will be rom with looks of new xperia devices and smooth as my unlimited rom
i would work on jelly bean but i cant use jelly bean since i have locked bootloader :/

now its in final stage
is speed its comparable with unlimited rom
Does your new rom have "long press back button kill app" function?
perhaps some sound mod
and made it optional in installer, since some ppl may not like it :angel:

I would definitely like to try the V Walkman if there are any new features, but not for the colour-changing features.
I've installed doomlord's apk on the XU (Paranoid Android). The app has Sony's walkman ui. There are no new features, as such, when put up against other music apps. It's just a matter of whether you like the ui or not.

Is there any way to port the Touchwiz apps from stock jb to CM10 or CM10.1, because i feel the CM10.1 smoother than stock JB, but, i note the TW Camera App better than the default CM 10.1 camera app, and others apps like, message, phone, keyboard, s-note, paper artist...and so on...
i ask because i want to keep the essence of the note, and the speed/performance of CM...

No you cant port the TW apps to a non TW ROM. The reason is due to the framework. TouchWiz, while Android, uses a specific framework to run those apps. Such framework is not present in CM or any other ROM. So there is no way to port the apps.
hi i'm using super jelly bean rom and it's good but i wanna have xperia Original Phonebook and Conversations on it
super jelly bean is CM10.2
so what should i do and how can i find this things for my rom, i tested all about 5 threads of this forum for phonebook and conversations
they all are for ics not jelly bean
some packages depend on particular environment. I don't know if I'm exactly right, but close, at least, I think.
BTW Xperia conversation&phonebook FC when I open a MMS, but it's really beautiful

yes MMS is not bad, BUT i tested both and Xperia conversations is really faster and better
