sure you can, go to \system\framework\framework-res.apk\res\drawable-nodpi\ in the zip file and replace "background_holo_dark.png" and "background_holo_dark.png" with your prefered background

i just took a look on the stock rom thread and i cant find the theme to be downloaded....i have to download the full rom...which is i am already using it.....i need to find the theme alone to be flashed..... any place you have it over here ??

Seeing what the contents of the zip are, looks like something to be flashed from recovery.
Did any of you get this to work.
Tried to install it in recovery without any change to phone.
Installer says it is installed ok, but nothing changes?

It says in OP. Install as normal apk. You need a theme chooser enabled launcher though.
