[Q] Changing rom default font. - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

I am using Real ICS Lite r4 rom and in it's font folder it contains 7 different fonts and I want to chage the default font to a different one in the font folder. I know you can get apps that can change fonts but I would like to know how to change font by editing the rom on my pc, so if anyone can help I'll be grateful.
Cheers

Replace the fonts Roboto-Bold, Roboto-BoldItalic, Roboto-Italic and Roboto-regular in system/font folder with your prefered fonts.

I think I may of found the default font selection code in the aroma installer, which is the prefered way I'd like to change my font but if that don't work I will use your method.
cheers

It does say I don't want to use an app

i use font changer to change my font but some text still doesnt change, dey have tha ROM font....

"Sony Sketch" Font
Have a try

For now I haven't been able to do what I wanted, install a new font into the rom as defsult and not just rename my chosen font, which happened to be the 1 linked to RavinduSha which have had to use for now and drop it into my rom then install the rom.
I have found in system/etc a .xml file called system_fonts.xml that looks like it needs editing for this to work, I wil look into this further and if I do come up with a solution to change the default font of a rom and not just using a renamed file to "trick" the rom, then I'll post it here.

I have seen it stated that the font changer doesn't always change all fonts and you can end up with more than 1 font type, this is echoed above by whalesplaho saying it didn't change all their fonts and that just isn't good enough. I have a custom bootanimation, custom theme, custom lockscreen icons, every app having a paid custom icon all installed directly to app's, etc, etc, to make things how I want and don't want fonts that don't 100% match and frankly I prefer to do my designing/editing on a pc and not rely on app's to do it for me.

i wanna do everything from zero to hero
please let me know what should i do and if there is a link can u refer me to it please thanks a lot. and god bless you
i wanna create a theme to make my arc looks like xperia x8 , u know i love the corner buttons of x8
thanks again
theme is base on
- system/framework/framework-res.apk
- system/framework/SemcGenericUxpRes.apk
- system/app/SystemUI.apk
- system/app/Home.apk
basic , You can change all *.png to your style , open & extract apk using winRAR and replace old file using winRAR again.
- save change edited apk
- copy new edited apk to internal memory (/xxx /yyy /root) , change file permission (rw-r--r--) , move file to overwrite old apk target
-always change files permission! before paste & overwrite!! (if not , bootloop!!)
- about Home.apk is Xperia main launcher , before you overwrite apk you must change default launcher to 3rd party launcher (if not , may be bootloop!!)
EDIT:
Delete please, other guy was faster

[Q] Current font?

Several months ago, I changed by default font using Font Installer. Now I can't remember the name of it. How do I find out?
In Font Installer, there's a font named 'stock', or maybe 'Roboto'.

No, I installed a custom font, so neither of those apply!

[Q] How do I change fonts without the font option?

Hi, this may be a newbie question, but I really cant figure it out. I am currently using LunarUI4 by Reventongt ROM and I cant seem to find how to change my font or at least change the font size because they look huge. Any way I can do this on this ROM? I know I used to have Font option on Display Settings when I was still using MIUY4 ROM, but on this one, there isnt an option. Please help
Bad English? Sorry, not my native language
Use Font Changer which is available in Play store. You have to have, .ttf fonts. Put the .ttf fonts in .fontchanger folder in sdcard.
nice!
