I just did the complete ROM install of CyanogenMod (CM 10.1) on My Noook HD+ and have not found the option to screen capture. I have tried holding down the n (Home Screen Button) and the Volume key down together, Holding n and the Volume Key up, Holding down Power and the n Key together with no results. I see you suggested Easy Touch (Android Style) did not have Screenshot feature just lock and menu feature.
Can someone please advise me of a way to program my Nook HD+ CM 10.1 Android Version 4.2.2 to take Screenshots? Thank in advance for your time. :good:

You can go to settings, system, power menu and put a check in screenshots. Then it will put that option on the power off menu.

Thank you leapinlar for your fast response. I was just coming on to post where I found the option in the power menu. You can fully control almost everything from settings. Just takes a little guessing to under what section the programmers put what your looking to change. I'm very happy with this build. Now my wife wants me to do her's because she like mine so much. lol:good: Thanks again for the reply and your time.

It's been answered on another thread it isn't included with this rom.
Works perfectly on my 7.2. But remember, on CM you can make screenshots by pressing power button for a longer time and selecting from the power menu "Screenshots", CM doesn't have this feature like stock rom's means make screenshots by pressing home and back.

Cm 7.2 by who? Im using cm7.2 rc.0..n i know take screenshot by power button n choose a screenshot...when i choose doesnt appear its successfull...by another apps for it its work...

by default it will be there dude, have u checked the same by a long press on the menu button
it 's activated by default .. but some launchers and apps don't respond to this like xperia launcher for example

CM10 has that option to remap buttons. Try that

I try do capture the screen of my SGS2 with ICS 4.0.4, I9100XWPT firmware, non-rooted. The usual key combination POWER-Volume down isn't working. It seems the 4.0.4 firmware version removed the ability to make a screen capture.
Q: How do I make a screen shot with the 4.0.4 stock versions ?

On my ICS 4.0.3 it's a combination of Power + Home button. See if that helps.

Power + Vol Down button for all users except you. You DONT know how to ****ing search!!!!

the combination for GS2 is : Power + home button .. but unlike gingerbread , the timing is a little different in ICS , i mean u must press both buttons on the same time

Sorry, I tried everything, Power + Vol Down too. It won't work for me and it worked for all previous versions including 4.0.3 and 2.3.3 to 2.3.4. I suspect the current 4.0.4 version removed the screenshot functionality...
Correction, okay, it's back to Power-Home, not Vol Down anymore and the timing has changed as well...the Power-Vol combination was much easier to handle.

I have the s2 running stock 4.0.4, I can take screen shots. Simultaneously press power+home key and hold a bit over a second. It has nothing to do with volume keys.

It's different than in GB but it works like you said: press both buttons at same time. The timing when pressing both buttons is important, I had to try several times to get a screenshot... I thing I have to practice my motor capabilities... hahaha

I'm just posting this to let you know that this method works on mine, running 4.1.2
the cm10 has an option to take screenshot in the power menu and so does all other ics roms.. but the other jellybean roms like slimbean , rootbox anad ressurection remix jb .. how to take a screenshot in these ?as neither does the home and lock button thing work and nor is there any other option to take

its Volume down + Power button pressed simultaneously for a cpl of sec's to make the screen shot on AOKP based roms, try the same and see

Try pushing power + home button simultaneously (for 5 sec or something like that)
Turn on motion in settings and then swipe the edge of your palm from one side of the screen to the other.

Yeap... no crack there: he is right.
That combination has been the default method in stock ROMs since the days of the first Galaxy S, and even although the swype thing works in the S III, the PWR+HOME combo was kept.
