As Promised - here is a flashable Version of the latest
HTC INDIA STOCK ROM
About this ROM:
- Based on 1.73.720.1
- Kernel: 3.0.16
- Android 4.0.3
- Sense 4.0
- Fully deodexed
- zipalign
- Rooted, Busy box
-Multilanguage Support through MoreLocale2 App / you have start the app only one time after the
installation process ... !!
I have cleaned the Stock ROM from Bloatware such as 7Digital, Soundhound and other Apps which were not usefull (for me )
the I have updated the Stock Apps through the latest Versions of them and added some other usefull Apps.
Furthermore I have changed some Statusbar Icon´s as you can see in the attached Screenshots

- MoreLocale 2 - Multilanguage Support
- Swapper 2 - Swapfile Manager
- xplore file manager - Filemanager
- quickboot - fast reboot, reboot into recovery etc
- Miui-Calculator - better Calculator as the Stock (and looks better )
- XDA ICS Blue Themed - Forum tool
Updated Apps:
- Google Maps
- Flashplayer
- Playstore (Phonesky)
- Adobe Reader
- SuperSU (1.25) with newest Binary
- TuneIn (latest Version)
Deleted Apps:
- Gmail
- Google+
- Polaris Office
- Talk
- Talkback
- Bluetoothmap 1.0 (it has only crashed and no function for me)
- Showme.apk + Widget
- IMEXT9 of many Languages - only English / German / Spanish are left on the Phone
- HTC Tell
In the next days I will do a full list and a flashable zip with them, so you can reinstall the apps

HOW-TO INSTALL Step by Step
DO A NANDROID Backup BEFORE you make anything with your system
1.) Safe the zip file on the SD Card and boot into cwm revovery
2.) Wipe Data/Factory reset
go to -advanced and start
3.) Wipe Dalvik Cache
...
for a really clean mode go to (not necessary)
-mounts and storage
-format /system
-format /data
...
4.) after that make a reboot into recovery
and
5.) -install zip from sdcard
after that you can flash the ROM and restart your phone
... the fist start needs some time .. in some cases till 5 Minutes !!!
If your phone was on INDIA Stock Rom you will be ready now
otherwise you must flash the kernel to let your Wifi / BT work correctly
adb command:
fastboot flash boot otaboot1737201.img
Download HTC ASIA INDIA ROM (total 309mb)

WIFI not working
Hi
My Desire V is
HTC Desire V / T328W / WIND - ASIAN ROM 1.73.707.1
and i install your rom (indian)
my wifi and BT not worked
i put the boot.img like you say
i flashed my boot and
1-replace the boot mot worked
2-Flash boot not worked (fastboot flash boot boot.img)
please tell me if there is a way to work Wifi & BT

Try this Stock boot.img - file was extracted from ruu 1.73.701.1 and should work
flash the file with adb command
fastboot flash boot boot1737071.img

It could be possible that you have to create a new mountscript through Link2SD
I am also working on the Wifi and BT Error - but in the moment I can not find the issue of the problem ...
It would be useful if you tell me your tested boot.img

Well, i removed Link2SD just after installing the Rom as i don't use it. Can you please guide me, how to create that mount script or get back that mass storage working again.

easiest way ? ... reinstall link2sd and start the app ... it will ask you for the
mountscript and the only thing you have to do is to choose the partition type of your second partition of your sd-card
ext2 / 3 / 4
fat32 / fat16
then restart your phone - the script will create from link2sd

Install on top of India stock image. Did not encounter any problem during the install, everything went smooth.
- By default there is more free RAM when booting up, compared to stock rom.
- WiFi, 3G, BlueTooth, GPS, Camera all worked out of box without any issues.
- Did not find much difference in the UI lag compared to stock rom.
--- However, after I removed some more apps like facebook, tunein and enable swap through swapper, the UI seemed much smoother and much less lag.
- the icons and letters in the notification bar appear bigger and bolder. I would personally prefer the standard fonts and icon size.
- One nice touch is the multi colored Bluetooth icon in the notification bar. When Bluetooth is on and not connected it is red, when connected it turns blue. I find it very handy and useful.

I found the issue of non working Mass storage. When i turned of Swapper 2, my mass storage started working again. I have to turn off the swapper to get my mass storage wroking.
But then i checked the safe unmount option in the settings and now i don't have to turn off the swapper 2.

as a result of deleted non usefully apps / bloatware and in the next Version of this ROM I will delete additional Apps such like facebook, tunein and so on.

I can not compare with the StandardUI - cause I use ADW Launcher and
Sense is already deleted in my (personal) ROM
