For me PIMP MY BEATS did not have any effect, so I prefer DSP..
If you use a stock JB rom (or any JB rom that does not have dsp manager), just flash this, through CWM or TWRP.
Odexed/Deodexed doesn't matter. ..

yesterday I downloaded dsp manager and applo player from galaxy s3 mini section, when using dsp manager I noticed strange volume increasing while changing song and choose inbuilt equlizer setting. that time I was with my handfree strangely volume increasing. so I unstalled dsp manager bcz may be it cause ear damage.
can anyone confirm this dsp manager have same problem or not ?

I have added a new link try that...
But remember one thing, using dspmanager in a stock or stock based roms will cause problems sometimes.
You can try using viper.....

2. Open the app, go to other, select install Cyanogen Dsp manager

Dose this solution work with Android Revolution 6.3.3 ROM for HTC Desire HD device ?
I have several method for mods DSP Manager however none of them work for me. Always hang at white screen with green HTC
Even I have use Root Explorer to copy DSPManager.apk to /systems/apps and set permissions correct ways.
Or install DSPManager as update from Recovery.
So, Anyone can confirm this method work with ARHD 6.3.3 or NOT

If flashing for you didn't work, then I wouldn't recommend this either, I assume the arhd you are saying is sense 3.5 or 3.6, just go ahead and try poweramp, it's much a better player, better sound too

Im not sure if this is the right section,Ever since I used the leak ICS rom i had problems getting dsp manager to work.This dsp manager is not the latest one.
First I froze htcbeatnotify because I read that beat and dsp manager conflicts with each other , DSPManager.apk file in your system/app folder. Root Browser or something that can access the root of phone them copy the APK file to the system/app folder and restart phone.

I tested Dsp managers on Neomax rom with bluetooth and wired headsets with poweramp setting SRS Off/Beats off other settings work,Also I tried google music player confirmed to work
Credit to android.appstorm.net for dsp file and info for installion.
Just install it like a normal apk. I did that on my Rezound and it was fine
And you can have beats and dsp at the same time

In Neomax 1.2 and other rom dsp haven't worked for me,by any chance your rom is sense or senseless?

I've done it with both. But I think the problem is you have the GB version of DSP let me get a link for the ICS version. Like I said I usually just install it not copy to system/app or anything

is there any custom rom available for videocon a55hd
it is same as micromax a116, hence is it suitable that s4 custom rom for canvas 4 to this divice

The music player is within my a55hd each time i try to back up files some errors are occuring

Hey, check out the attached files...
One is the Music Player (Music.apk)
and the other one is accompanying Equalizer (MusicFX.apk)
Try to install both the APK. If they fail then copy both of them into /system/app/ folder . If there exist files by the same name make a backup of them and overwrite with the provided files and change the permission to "rw-r--r--".. Then just restart your phone..Most likely this would work. If it doesn't then just restore your backup files. with the same procedure.

Have you tried other earphones? Maybe it's just your earphone jack.

Jelly Blast is banned ROM here so change your ROM ..
Or if you want to continue with these ROM only so your answer is these
Go to Playstore and download SoundAbout App and set into earphone Mode, while playing on speaker so set it into speaker mode.

Jelly Blast is a banned rom, and so is support for it. I suggest that you change your rom, as there are many other Jelly Bean themed roms like Jelly Bread, Optimus Nexus, Reincarnation, Extremis or Simplicity/Cosmic.

Hi, um I was just wondering which module should one flash specifically regarding the issue of headphones not being recognized, I reached Rafael Baguis' Microsoft One Drive, went to Custom > Kernel > Recovery and right now there are 7 files, I don't know which one to flash.

i got the same problem on another rom , and by using "Fix permission" on CWM , my problem was solved try this :
reboot into recovery
fix permission or advanced -> fix permission
reboot the phone
