Download any free Battery calibrator you can find, from Google store.
it will most probably fix your wrong battery readings.
ps. you may need to have a rooted device for the calibrators to work, but i think (i'm not sure)there is one (don't remember the name) that works with an unrooted phone.

Yes battery calibrator neeeds superuser permissions

I have one more question for you
I installed app named "Battery Doctor"
And in this app, after the normal charge is written:
Trickle Charge
Maintain the liquidity of electrons to extend battery life
And the question is
Trickle Charge really extend the battery life or not?
Second question
I blocked screen, but on the stats it looks, like screen was active for 25 mins, but screen was still locked
Is there any way to check what app cause activity of screen?
Sygnał sieci komórkowej=Cellular signal
Aktywność=Activity
Ekran włączony= Screen on
Ładowanie=Charging

Do you really think that you can "MAINTAIN LIQUIDITY OF ELECTRONS" with an app????????

No no, in this app is section "battery charge" and there are 3 steps - quick charge - 0-80% continuos charge - 80-100% and this trickle charge - 30 min of charging after 100%
And in my question I mean is this 30 min of charging after 100% really extend the battery life, not this app xD

The problem with battery backs
Today i have 68% battery then 0 % after turnon, 20%
It's after calibration
What may i do?

[Q] Hello Everyone.

Hello everyone,
From yesterday i started facing a strange issue due to which i am experiencing serious battery draining issues.
My battery started draining 1-2% every 5 min in idle mode after i played a game named crazy fist . next day i factory resetted my phone. In idle now it is not consuming any power but when i do some work on my phone , it consumes alot of battery and it.drins like 1% every 2-2.5 min.
Charging time is normal. But discharge is pretty fast.
So i checked thr battery usage inside settings.and noticed that my display is consuming about 41% of the battery and android os arnd 13%. I am not sure qbout os usage but thr diaplay is consuming too much power. I think initially it used to consume 13-20(max)%.
Or is the usage correct? I am using sgs2 stock midel and have no intentions to root it.
Kindly assist and reply asap. Thanks in.advance,
Siddhanth
the display on the galaxy s2 does drain alot of battery if your using it for quite a while..thats what they call screen on time..my battery was draining fast and i panicked... when you do use your phone how long do you use it? say do you use to browse like for a good hour non stop?
if you was rooted i could of gave you some options but here is a link to help you read and give you some tips on battery life...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1234264
charge your phone fully and drain it without switching it off..charge it again without taking it off charger i say leave it for a good few hours...do the same thing for a few charging cycles and see what the battery like is after that..but check the link
But this strange thing happened to me aftrr 1month.
I wss never rooted.
I mean this is the first time my display is consuming 59-61% of the overall battery. is this normal and does it hsppen to u too?

i thought the same as you buddy. never realised it in the start when i had my s2 but then checking the battery usage and i panicked...its normal for the display to drain the battery alot..
change your brightness to auto and there is an option in settings and display where you can tick to have the display autoadjusted. thats for brightness..
or do what i do and have your brightness on the lowest settings and see how it goes from there...fully charge your battery let it say for 6 hours then let it drain till it dies down without any breaks and then charge it again to the max..do the same thing for a few times and check whats the battery after a few days...

when calibrated your phone you leave it on of course and charge it without any interuptions...when you let it drain with out any breaks like switching it on and off, once it dies down then plug to charge it.....it will charge and it will give you the battery icon...once its fully charged you can see by the battery when its fully green switch your phone and your good to go...

first.. thanks for the quick replies..
yes I mean to refresh the battery usage statistics..
I need to do it because one of the threads mentioned a way to re-calibrate the battery.. so after charging it for 8 hours you need to remove the battery usage statistics..
I don't know exactly how to do it ?!
Go to the battery usage statistics and hit the menu key and then refresh pops up.

[Q] Problem with Battery

Just now 100% charging is completed and got the Beep but after unplugging the charger it showed 96% this is the 5th time I am getting like this..Any idea how to fix it? thought it is FW bug and changed to KI8 from KI3 still same
EDIT: Now I am rooted and did wipe battery stats still same problem
Do you have CWM? My battery went mad two days ago. All I needed to do was clearing the battery stats via CWM.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
Even more interesting. If you phone freezes and you need to do a cold reboot (hold power until reboot) the battery level can drop like 20 or even up to 50% at a time. (it then slowly increases by itself).

I don't know if the stock recovery has this option, so you should check it. If it doesn't, you could consider rooting your phone.
It worked for me, after my battery went crazy. It dropped from 100% down to 86% in 5 seconds. And when I checked the stats in the menu, I saw three lines if which one made an upside down looping. The first moment I was like "wtf?".
But if you don't want to, you should go have your phone repaired/replaced.

Ón my side it worked only with this steps:
1. Charge over night
2. run the app battery calibrator
3. unplug charger
4. drain battery all the way down till it shuts off
In this way yout phone can remember what is 100 % and what is 0%
PS: You need root permissions
I have asked Samsung Support on twitter about my problem they said: The device is fully charged, however, this is done to prevent overcharging which stresses the battery.

Flash sirkays 6.1.1 ics kernel. In which you can use your phone for 2 days
Then flash hybrid rom(2.3)--I choose this rom coz it is lite and can run very smooth even in 800mhz
Then under clock your phone to 800mhz and use conservative governor

maybe reflash ics firmware or change battery or take it to repair center
Just restart your phone.

When I plug my charger percentage remains frozen so can’t see wen it is fully charged. And when I try to calibrate it just says 0% battery spent for example when calibrating web browsing... It is as if some battery sensor burned out or something. Could that be the case?

The thing is that I can read my battery status via hard battery calibrator script which means that sensors are still operating. but I cant recharge my phone via usb and I cant reed my battery status on it (in status bar). Also my battery time is extremely poor - like 12 hours max on very little usage (about 8 hours of me sleeping included) or like 3-4 hours of heavy usage. Is there any one here with knowledge to help me? Thanks in advance

[GUIDE] FIX your phone's POOR BATTERY after flashing a new ROM

FOR THOSE WITH BATTERY PROBLEMS:
1. After flashing your phone with a new ROM, install this software:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ibration&hl=en
BATTERY CALIBRATOR - 47 KB size
2. Then, charge your phone to 100%.
3. IMPORTANT. Remove CHARGER first.
3. IMMEDIATELY hit "Battery Calibration" (1 or 2 seconds delay is fine, wait for BATTERY voltage to drop and be stable)
4. Use your phone normally (don't charge in between) till it hits 1%.
5. Then charge your phone UNINTERRUPTED (leave it for charging all night) till 100%.
6. Unplug and start using. You should be having as little as 2-3% battery drain for 6-8 hours of IDLING now. That's the optimization of a calibrated battery.
ENJOY! Hope this helps!
Even Google confirmed that deleting that one file has nothing to do with battery drain, its just place where phone saves battery using from apps.

Letting Lithium Ion get to low charges then charging it will decrease battery life, you can leave them plugged in a charger and it will be fine, just like when you leave your laptop plugged in or leaving a UPS plugged in.

actually what battery calibration really do is it makes battery percentage display on status bar more "accurate".
when you flash a new rom, old battery data is not deleted so it will be inaccurate (ex: showing 52% on status bar when your battery is at 30%)
therefore, calibration doesn't improve battery life
Ive heard of it before. keeping your battery level between 60% and 80% help prolong your battery's lifespan.

It kinda does improve your battery life, because for instance your phone is reading 10% while the phone actually have 30% then the phone may shut down anytime because it think it has low power.

It is perfect in performance yet my battery charges to a maximum 87% and when it reaches 13% my device powers off...I tried calibration and clearing dalvik and reflashing rom abd buying a new battery but none had solved my problem. Please help me. My email is (but dont publish it or abuse it) wwwwwwward8 at gmail . com (since website dont allow me to post an email full) seeking help from you. And thanks in advance. And by the way I ama game hacker so if u help me get this solved I will let u chose any game 4 me 2 hack and get it as a reward
