Random boot loop from nowhere - Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0, 5.0

This morning, when I woke up and tried to turn on my Galaxy Player, it just kept going into the boot animation and never finishing. Completely out of the blue. It was working fine last night, and now it doesn't. I was using the latest nightly for CM10, with the latest Mercrious (spelling) kernel. I've done a nandroid and reverted to ICS. Any fix or reason for this happening?

I haven't had a problem so far with the 120808, or 120810 nightlies. Gonna try the 120811 now and report back, but I haven't had a problem. Could it have been a bad download and flash ?
=====EDIT=====
So, I went and downloaded the 120811 nightly, installed it over top of my current one (without a backup, dumbass me), and it works fine. I use the GooManager app to do this for me, and it works fine and dandy, no problem.
What I would suggest is you re-download the 120811 nightly and try again.
Ok

Are you using the GooManager app and the OpenRecovery script it provides, or CWM ?

Random reboots on vigor360?

So I'm on the new firmware (global) and running zhp's vigor rom. Amazing rom. Everything is smooth. Battery life is swell.
I'm running the previous version of maps and I am still experiencing random reboots.
Any ideas on what these may be caused from?
Thanks for any replies in advance.

I ran it for two days, never had a reboot.
The reboots don't even occur with maps. Just random phone usage and stuff. Maybe cache problems?

I'm having them too. Downloading v1.1 now to see if that solves the issue. Love the Rom though.

About to download 1.1.
How is it going for you?

Did flash the kernel after the rom?

I flashed the ROM and it works fine. But I am not seeing the changes v1.1. The dialer and messages all look like v1

I've been running since he uploaded v1.0, just updated to 1.1, no issues. Maybe wipe, and flash again, without installing anything extra. Almost anytime I have issues with a Rom, its an app or mod disagreeing with it.

I flashed the v1.1 and everything is working. No reboots now. Sorry for the slow reponse, but I flashed a different Rom cause I needed one that wasn't rebooting all the time.

I ran it pretty hard for a few days on 1.1 (not a dirty install). I did have one one random reboot. I was checking email in Touchdown (which honestly never has any problems on any of the ROMs I run so it is not likely the app) and clicked something but nothing happened. Tried back and home, and a few seconds later I saw the HTC white screen. Everything worked fine after the reboot.
I run 1.1 for two days no reboot. I haven't tried version 1
I have been running 1.1 without any reboots. But I didb reinstall the ruu.

Not going into deepsleep

My atrix refuses to go into deep sleep regardless of the rom I'm using. I have tried everything including flashing bluesleep fix. What can I do?

Wow really? What apps are installed. What settings for wifi are you useing. Be specific please. Did you restore anything after you followed the above instructions or did you cleanly install new apps with no restore?

I have accuweather, bbc, adjbrightness, betterbatterystats, cpuspy, es file explorer, flash, grooveshark, gmail, maps, history eraser, horse button, myatt, reddit, xda, youtube, torch, superuser, rom manager, dolphin browser, titanium backup. I changed roms to Nottachtrix with full wipe and no restoring of apps. For wifi settings, I have it go to sleep when screen turns off.

If you need your phone so badly why don't you just flash a GB based rom like Nottachtrix or cm7 ?
With all the JB build or ICS roms i have tried, my phone never goes to deep sleep too, i don't have an answer yet, but even when i plug it to the charger the cpu reminds at 750 Mhz.
The best for you it's to change until someone finds a solution
I'm currently on a gb based rom...

Did you try going back to viper then? I would do a clean wipe and see what happens. Don't restore apps or anything and see if that fixes it.

I did and I'm currently on viper 2.5 with the xda app the only one installed and it rebooted twice so far. And it was a clean install..

grab a last_kmsg or a dmesg just after it reboots, try using my app if you're on windows AFU - v1310.zip
my app does both types of logs, you will need busybox installed to the device and proper device drivers on your pc

Cm7 based rom auto reboot during phone calls

I have tested biel rc4, cmx and slim cm7, they all end up phone restart after I talked about 20 seconds on a phone call, it happens alot but not every call.
Any idea if it's a bug or something else?

Have you tried reinstalling the stock ROM?
Just reflash the ROM. IT may work.
Thanks for the reply pals, I did many reflash and setup and I think the problem has something to do with swappiness..
